I am against irregular immigration due to the economic consequences. But the funny thing about this video is that the whole world knows that Canada was a vast land with the north American natives being the original inhabitants. That's the Canadian identity. It was colonized and taken over by immigrants centuries back. Just because the former immigrants built conveniences at the cost of the exploitation of natural resources and populated the land does not mean that the history will change. The native Americans aside, all the Americans are also immigrants. \nThe majority is against irregular immigration. Yes, it is not sustainable for the society. But the immigration and colonization centuries back was not just irregular but also inhuman. The world will never forget the history.

It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\nThere are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. I've never been to Brampton, but is this video insinuating that Indian immigrants = white people L's? That is kind of the vibe I was getting... these first world countries need immigrants too as the birth rate drops below replacement level. Usually there are lots of reasons why a city deteriorated. I guess an equivalence might be Mexicans immigrating into the U.S. Yeah, there are some rough Mexican neighborhoods but not all of them.

Everything is fragile you know. When you allow certain foreigners in a country and teach them to adapt to the culture, they get the best of living in a developed country by following their own personal beliefs. On the other hand, if you allow a huge amount of population at the same time from 3rd world countries, they become the majority, start doing politics, they don't adapt to new things, ultimately they will come up with extreme religious beliefs, their old culture, corruption, greed and can ultimately drag it down to a 2nd world country! Every country has more or less potential, the reason behind being so poor is connected to many reasons but at least 50% is because of corruption, their way of thinking, thus, mass immigration can never be a solution! Developed countries' leaders do not care about any people, they want people to keep their country's position economically high and now distracting the young generation with transgender issues with the name of so-called freedom. Maybe Western people now should start working on their life rather than taking everything for granted, maybe changing gender is not to be proud of or the only way to get attention but rather do something for your country, work, be involved in politics, be aware of life, travel with purpose, stop worshipping celebrities and understand the consequences of life in every step and you can be replaced by anywhere anytime!

Canada has never had a open immigration policy; i tried twice to emigrate to Canada post University (BA, BSc and PhD) and my application rejected twice ; not enough points. How do these immmigrants get in i ask? (White UK born and aged under 30 years) Canada has and cotinues to vavour immigration from the 'right' parts of the world!

Indian population 1.4 billion , most if given a chance, will migrate , so the world needs to wake up and either come out with a quota system for high population countries etc otherwise the migration numbers will never come down , only going to grow

The States are great to visit we love Florida but I would never leave Nova Scotia. I love my country the people are second to none, great school system ,can get a new heart and not cost a dime. We have the RCMP and 4 seasons ,gun control and the most lakes in the world ..Why would I live anywhere else ..!

My family moved to Montréal from the largest Greek island Crete in 1965 when I was 9 got a great education worked in mechanical/ engineering design 44 years and simultaneously 33 years as media/wedding and sports photographer as I work with top major sports team’s photographer. I’m now retired and thinking after visiting my hometown in Chania Crete the last 6-7 years I have met people that are offering me teaching jobs in AutoCAD tutoring or even night school teaching sports photography as I have a portfolio in many different sports of 40 years .. I’m proud born Greek and never gave up of my goals as I was the only Greek of 2,000 employees for a tool designer and pattern designer for a Pulp and Paper manufacturing company for 10 years in the 80s. Planning to visit again in October 2024 when schools open and kind of give back to my hometown Chania Crete.. life there is very peaceful with 100 meters to 3 beaches where all neighbours are from different parts of the world bought a house or hotel… ??❤️??

Whites have always been opposed to non-white presence even though they never miss the opportunity to enter and steal from non-whites. Also another reason for their worry is that if at some points the non-whites are in equal number as the whites, the whites will not have the same administrative powers as they had and have at the moment because the non-white votes will matter just as much. The whites usually choose the whites as their leaders but also complain about lack of pluralism in other parts of the world. Any non-white they choose is one who is submissive or easily manipulated by the whites.

Real estate agents are the biggest culprits in the rise of prices. I’ve been there several times as telling me my house is worth hundreds of thousands more or we can say exaggerated by 30% or more then my house is on the market for a year which is nota big deal for an agent they have 40 other listings and access to more moneymakers , I’ve sold my last 2 homes personally within days or weeks which were reasonably priced not overpriced this made everyone happy . Building a home is never a problem buy the land get proper permits and select a quality builder I’ve had steady employment and certainly not rich blue collar salary and never have been refused for a mortgage so if you want to build it’s always available , if you qualify for a mortgage.\nAs for your immigration babble do you like to eat food if the answer is yes you should appreciate immigrants, do you like the care you get in hospitals thanks again to immigrant nurses caregivers therapists, how about the next time you stay at a hotel/resort thank immigrants for cooking and cleaning , \nSure stuff costs more you can put some blame on lifetime pensions for politicians and senators for a few years work , over the top spending on government trips , the Governor General expense on wardrobe, minister of whatever buying new boots or shoes to make an announcement total abuse of taxpayer $ , government projects which get cancelled for who knows why and many projects which are unnecessary which are beneficial only to family and friends giving their private businesses contracts , same old guys club new blood is required with new ideas and purpose . \nCanada is expensive I’ll agree but still top 10 to reside in the world if you like life and freedom , eating regularly, lights on , water from your tap, getting to your job on real roads , getting an abortion , not expecting a hospital bill when you arrive home from heart surgery, the list goes on , whiners are are whiners the rest are makers and make our lives better .as for other post saying things are so much cheaper in the states , I don’t pay 10$ for a carton of eggs this happened last year in Arizona state the facts ,

We are wealthy, have amazing land mass, a high standard of living, with many many many races and ethnicities.... I just love this place. Sure, governments are often lazy and stupid. People need to understand, Palestinian refugees are unlike any other refugees in the world. Once Palestinian refugees leave Palestine, they are never going back. I am speaking as an Indian, who lived and worked in Thailand for 2 years, and now will be moving to Europe on a specialist skills visa. Indians as immigrants have been a productive addition to any country worldwide, compared to other nationalities. But the only exception case is in Canada. \n\nThe reality is, in Canada, the majority of immigrants are only from a specific part of India (Punjab), and most of these people are deluded, uneducated and unskilled. You are 100% right, they are not there to upskill or even contribute. I can bet these people have not even lived in big cities in India itself, they come from villages and small towns and have never seen how modern societies or even cities work.\n\nI feel sad for Canadians because most of this is their government's fault. It is the leading example of a failing society, which attracts the most obnoxious group of people from around the world. To the point where sheets of plywood were you couldn't find them and they went up 100 times and price. Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys

A tiny expensive country right beside the most free market and robust economy in the world. It'll never change. The foundations that make up Canada keep everything expensive and broken. I hope we get absorbed into the us one day. Nothing will ever change here.

Went to canada in 2005 ..... completed my masters in wireless....got honors...worked legally for 5 years ....applied for PR...with all legal.papers ....but got rejected and never given a reason..i felt so bad...and moved back to my home country (India )....worked in many major companies and became an expert in my field....travelled around the world happily..earnin and leisure...im happy canada rejected me...though the country is beautiful...it is makes everyone feel like a labor worker.....i feel privileged out of canada....God always gives best to good and honest people...

I’ve been in Canada for over 24 years and I have never seen it like this in my life!\nThe main cause of the majority of issues is the housing crisis.\n\nWhat a lot of you might not be aware of is that we have not been building homes to keep up with the demand for over two decades. That’s why the price for housing has increased astronomically. And then our government decided to basically allow unfettered immigration in order to take advantage of the new immigrants’ money so they can use it to fund the Canadian Pension Plan.\n\nJust an FYI, the way CPP is funded is that the current group of working people are paying for the current group of retired seniors. And due to the lack of childbirths and people living longer, the CPP can no longer afford to take care of all the seniors in its system. Thus, the government devised a plan to have more people coming here so as to milk the money they have. Actually, they’ve even gone to the extent to basically allow seniors to be willingly euthanized… it’s absolutely bonkers.\n\nBut anyway, I digress… so then with housing at astronomical prices, you’re now pushing out the poor people onto the streets, causing homelessness. \n\nAnd when people are homeless, the average person will do drugs to escape reality and commit crimes to survive. Which is why it’s now increasingly dangerous in public spaces. \n\nThen, the transportation also never accounted for such a massive increase in population. At least not in Toronto. Which is also causing major inconvenience to go anywhere. \n\nIt used to be that if you lived in the suburbs, you could drive into Toronto pretty quickly but now, it takes like an hour and a half to two hours, making it extremely difficult to get around. And also, hard to take advantage of the “lower” housing prices in the suburbs.\n\nBut that’s not all. Part of the issue is that the Trudeau government wants to no longer have Canada use our oil and gas overnight, which is causing the increase in gas prices. Many Canadians still rely on gas because electric cars are not efficient in Canadian weather and are simply too expensive for your average person. And yet they cut off our supply of oil and gas which causes the price inflation of transport and anything that requires to be moved such as groceries and supplies.\n\nAnd don’t get me started on how our healthcare system is falling apart… even though we pay some of the highest taxes in the world…

Based on the information provided in the video, I'd like to give my opinion on how to surpass these issues :\n- immigrants and students are not the issue here cuz they hugely contribute to economic growth; they are skillful, they pay taxes and they bring what they have in their homelands.\n- if the demand is high, gov should intervene in the supply side, by facilitating construction permits, giving investment facilities, excluding some products from taxation.. etc.\n- the carbon issue is a hoax, did the world abandon airlines ? No, did those who have private jets get taxed more ? I dont think so. So why tax the average people to make up for all of this ? Not so equal to me.\n- competitiveness among businesses and facilitating entrance to markets should be the priority, i dn't think that would happend cuz of lobbying.\nThese are my humble suggestions, PS: I dnt live there nd never did.

For context’ sake, for most of my adulthood I have always been poor & I am born with special health needs (E.g. disabilities).
\n\n\nSometimes on forums we are often contrasted to Canada, for some reason. Both Canada and Australia have remarkably similar problems with a different coat of paint. Sydney, for instance, has always been high up in the list of the cities with the highest cost of living in the world. Usually within the top 10-20. 

COVID-19 obviously made this issue clearer in some circumstances because we couldn't 'work' at all. Unless you were an essential service worker, to mentally block out personal and local difficulties.\n\n\nWe still have not recovered from that 2–3 years global shutdown. The only reason I was allowed to work for a period was because I work for the animal industry and aid in animal welfare. 

I still lost my job due to COVID-19 regardless and knew I would never get a decent job again. Merely just the last poor sod on the boat to be thrown off. 

Could not become a vet nurse despite working very hard. Just because no one wants to give me '2-years permanent paid experience’ to be taken seriously. 

At the same time, way too many employers will happily take 2+ years of veterinary students volunteering at their vet clinic. With the vague promise of a permanent job.

Which, of course, never happens, then say we are being too demanding or spoilt for politely asking for said job.\n\n\nHow are we supposed to pay off our student debt if any financial service expects us to have a per meant job to pay anything off??

The younger adults and kids all know and have been aware for years, they have no future at all due to having an inflated cost of living. That’s the thing…. In Canada, you don’t have to be strategic about where you move. Most places are welcoming. We still have some racism and issues, but I know many people of different colours and cultures that have never experienced racism in Canada. I came in the 80s to canada as a landed immigrant which is equivalent to a PR now. Life was much easier for newcomers then to start. Jobs were readily available and with a good command of the English language and a broader mind to accept other cultures and people i felt the adaptation was good. As for the struggles i had lots of patience and didn't mind doing my own chores. Cook clean at home and work in a 9 to 5 office job. I even volunteered as a Sunday school teacher to young children. I also kept my hobby as an artist. It depends on ones courage and patience and ability to adapt in a foreign country. Canada was the best decision i took for me and my family especially my children who graduated here.yes now i am retired over 60 and yes i do spend time abroad including india while it snows here? after covid and the ongoing wars and the recession around the world life is not the same in any part of the world. You have to make the best decision for your particular situation you are in. I never regretted coming to Canada ??.
