A functioning immigration system must remove illegal aliens \n \nRecent disclosures by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that hundreds of thousands of criminal immigrants are at large in the United States raise the question of why the Biden-Harris administration isn’t doing more to remove them. Increasing deportations is a necessary part of fixing what Vice President Kamala Harris refers to as “our broken immigration system.” She is right to describe it that way. But the administration in which she serves was the one to break it, not least by impeding ICE deportations. \n \nCurrently, about 1.3 million aliens under final orders of removal — those who have received due process and been ordered deported — are on ICE’s “non-detained docket” of 7 million individuals. These individuals include criminal aliens, whom Congress has directed ICE to detain and remove. But ICE can’t remove many of them because they’re from so-called recalcitrant countries — nations that refuse to provide the U.S. government with the travel documents it needs to facilitate the return of their nationals. The Supreme Court has held that, with only narrow exceptions, even detained criminals due to be deported must be released after six months absent a “significant likelihood of removal in the reasonably foreseeable future.” If ICE can’t get their travel documents, there’s no likelihood of removal. \n \nFortunately, Congress gave the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) a tool to force recalcitrant countries to comply. Unfortunately, the Biden-Harris administration won’t use it. Under section 243(d) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), once DHS notifies the State Department that a foreign country “denies or unreasonably delays” the return of its nationals, the secretary of state must “order consular officers in that foreign country to discontinue granting immigrant visas or nonimmigrant visas, or both,” to nationals of that country. The George W. Bush and Obama administrations used that authority sparingly, each restricting visa issuance to just one country in order to force compliance. People keep using fear mongering by talking about denaturalization and how it can strip your citizenship and depot you against your will. And while that may be true, that only applies to those who got their citizenship through naturalization....and there are many other ways to get a citizenship lol. Granted I don't agree with his massive deportation stance at all. I just also don't want everybody to freak out without knowing the facts. I saw U.S born citizens (I am speaking about other races that white people) freaking out that they may lose their citizenship ?. Which is hilarious, because you CAN NOT lose your citizenship if you were born here unless you decide yourself to get a citizenship in a different country lol. I am sick to death of media cherry picking facts they want to share. Oh poor immigrants. I am sorry, if this harsh but America can't fix the world and we aren't responsible for those from other countries. It really annoys me that all we hear is poor immigrants and immigrants rights. Sice Biden has taken office the housing crisis has gotten out of the control. Why? Simple math, you move in billions of people, equal population what you already have, but can't increase housing, they have to go somewhere. With the government helping migraints, more is going to them than our own. What is happening is they are pushing out people in migraint held cities and displacing existing residents. So those disbled , elderly, veterans and drug addicted people who are being displaced are being forced to smaller communities that don't have the infrastructure in place to cope with so many displaced people. Then you end up with a huge issue of Homeless people trying to live in Tents in the middle of winter. j You have a vast number of elderly women taking to van life because they can't afford to live any other way. Would you like to your Grandma living in Van, constantly on the go? YOu are being UNAmerican in your news reporting, when you fail to give fair reporting and do equal amount of investigating into who this actually affects amount the American people. Far as I am concerned you need to be shut down, because you are enemy of the US.

Trump may have won the 2024 election, will be sworn in on Jan 20, 2025 to become the 47th U.S. President, but Trump isn’t my president. Allow me to explain. There are certain attributes that define a U.S. president. A U.S. president places the citizens of this country ahead of his own personal interests. Trump doesn’t do that (hasn’t done that). Trump is self serving. On Jan ’21, Trump became an insurrectionist. Many citizens and police officers were injured and one police officers lost his life. According to the Constitution (the Supreme Court disagrees with me), Trump incited citizens to overthrown the certification of the 2020 election. Insurrection is one of the lowest acts any American can do, let alone a U.S. President. Trump states that the “insurrection” falls under immunity for “official acts”. Since when is “insurrection” an “official presidential duty”? Trump is a known Master Liar. This is beyond a moment when a president estimates, guesses and exaggerate numbers, figures and facts. Trump just lies – over 2k+ lies. Trump cannot be trusted in telling Americans the truth. Every time Trump opens his mouth, a lie flies out! Trump doesn’t appear to be able to help himself. One lie after another. Spreading the lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” and not providing legal evidence is an unforgivable act that Americans should #NEVER forget. MAGA, selected GOP, Christian Nationalists don’t appear to be troubled that Trump cannot tell the truth. To me, the truth strengthens the bond of trust – I have NO Trust for Trump! MAGA, Christian Nationalists and some selected GOP – I may use big words that you don’t comprehend such as: Liar, Convicted Felon, sexual misconduct, Insurrection, Fraud, election interference, Unauthorized Possession of classified documents. These are some, not ALL, of the words that defines Trump and his actions. These things do NOT appear to cause any concerns with the 71.2m people who cast their vote in the Nov 5th ’24 presidential election. Trump had unauthorized possession of classified material. (I am not certain what Classified Material Trump possessed, but if these documents would put my friends, my family and I in harm’s way – it’s a problem.) Again, those who voted for Trump, the 71.2m people, #NEVER thought about this. If they had, Trump would #NEVER have received their vote. America has a short attention span. How quickly have we forgotten that Trump’s inaction of Covid-19 could have prevented many from becoming ill and millions losing their lives. (If one of your loved ones have passed due to Covid-19, you will remember Trump’s inability to deal and handle the situation. It is something you will #NEVER forget.) I will not write a book here, but the listed reasons above is why Trump may be the 47th President of the United States, but he isn’t my president. My president would have #NEVER done these things to an American.

What they should do is hit pause on immigration. I believe they should grandfather in those who arrived prior to a specified year.\n\nI’m sure the majority is ok with immigration. JUST DO IT LEGALLY and for the gov to stop over extending our taxes and money. \n\nAmerica should come first. Americans have been put on the back burner while illegal immigrants get way more help which in turn hurts the very people who were born and raised here. We got people and children starving in this very country yet have a helping hand for those who don’t live here, came illegally or even like us. \n\nSo put the pause on and help Americans then help others. Other countries have stricter policies than we do and they’re thriving. and I believe don’t have as many issues as we do. \n\nAmerica leaders need to look into how other successful countries are running things and see how they can implement or improve on those.

I'm a black Canadian who's a naturalised citizen, and I agree that the immigration quota at 500,000 per annum under Trudeau until very recently was way too high. With high inflation, rising employment, brutal real estate and rent prices, a lack of housing for students and workers, and an overburdened healthcare system, the problem is not immigrants but our inability to be able to absorb that many while protecting the services and interests of Canadian citizens. In short, this is the Liberal government's fault for this situation. When I was finally able to visit home in Calgary in summer 2023 after years of Covid travel restrictions, it shocked me how messed up things were.

Because like England ... Canada is letting in way to many unqualified people. 10 YEARS of Liberal Government has been a disaster for Canada!

I understand this woman’s position because she understands the situation unfortunately many people don’t and only focus on the sentimental part of it. Trump ones told his friends that if talking about him would get them hired he said go ahead and trash me and go make your money. Her family have been here for 20 or 30 years illegally because there has been no pathway to become legal. Biden's recent executive order gives them a way, BUT OF COURSE ITS BEEN BLOCKED IN MANY STATES. Requirements include living here for 10 years, paying taxes and no criminal convictions. What would be wrong with that? Lady, those people have been funding your social security with possibility of ever being qualified for it themselves.

Enough laborers are here. The employers just want immigrants to exploit. I know highly skilled people who are applying for jobs and don't get hired while immigrants have 2 jobs. The govt has been either duped or working on an agenda. A lot of the managers, are East Indians and only hire their own nationality. Check all the supermarkets, hardware stores, fastvfood places. A master carpenter can't get hired bc he wont accept 25$/hr for a job driving 2 hrs each way. So they hire the immigrant Latinos. Too many Mexicanos since 2017, no visa required....

As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!\nAlso, reading from comments, I notice that many here have NEVER alert their own country!!! I am in Canada, born in India. I agree there are many Indian brown people here. It’s the govt that invited people, accepted them for the jobs they were unable to fulfill . These are highly educated, skilled and hardworking people. 25% all income from education comes from Indian people. Not to mention the high wages and high taxes they pay, inturn making Canada great. \nI also agree, there are some nasty people out there like any other race be it white, black, brown or purple. The bad guys need to be stopped. Have been saying it for years to many international students from India lived in qc there were so many international students coming from Punjab to qc. They will go just about anywhere in Canada if it means it will get them a PR wow left qc and moved to Ottawa so far have not seen so many international students . Even as a Born Canadian my parent came from India back in the 80s\nDon’t want to live with Indians . That came from India in 2024 they are rude to girls on the bus have no shame . Ben living in Canada for 40+ years only know there has been a. Influx of migrants from India. Before the people come they at least new basic English and got usto the way of living the new once they don’t even know basic English and don’t have any common sense how they pass is beyond me . I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Hopefully together we can fix this. Our governments are at odds, and I hate this -- they need to respectfully talk and work this out. You are good neighbours, good people, you are welcome here and have helped build Canada in so many positive ways. ?

I was born, educated, and brainwashed in the USA (without my consent). I moved to Canada for a career opportunity in 1972. Best life improvement I ever made. There isn’t any way I would even consider going back to the USA. Too dangerous, much less freedom, too many ignorant, rude people.

However, I can guarantee you that this is false. Many people want to live in Canada, and as French citizens, many of us want to move to Canada. But obviously, as a French and white person, I doubt they let us in as easily as they do Black Africans, Syrians, or Palestinians. I really feel that if you’re African or Muslim, doors are open to you everywhere in the world, especially in North America. But if you’re white, well, they put obstacles in your way to prevent you from coming. I really feel that, and I see it every day, in fact.

My daughter is nearing the end of 2 great years in Canada on an IEC (backpacker) visa from Australia. She’s loved the people, the landscape (mostly lived in BC and Alberta) , and working there…. She picked up interesting jobs, worked very hard, just about made ends meet, has been great. \n\nShe was even offered a permanent job by a major Canadian co last year (she was working for them on a one year role at the time) that would’ve paved the way for her to apply for PR…but she turned it down without a second thought….. for all the reasons you would know about \n\n- Wages aren’t great (maybe 20% less than australia), \n\n- taxes are high (incl having to pay CPP…in australia the employer pays all pension contributions, on top of wages), \n\n- groceries prices out of kilter, \n\n- rents consume most of what’s left…. \n\n- AND, even if you could save a deposit for a house, or shoebox apartment….what’s the point, could never afford it. \n\nShe’s seen nearly all her Canadian friends resigned to their fate of being perennial renters, of being perpetually skint. It’s no life. She’s sad to see it - coming from a country of perpetual optimism and opportunity, to learn over time how such a (on many levels) similar country isn’t like that, that has somehow got it all so wrong. \n\nIf you are thinking of “australia” as your answer, it’d be a fair call\n\n- Avoid Sydney if you can (a less expensive Vancouver) but rest of the place is “workable”. \n\n- Average wage in Perth is $100k (C$90k) and average house (full size…not an apt or townhouse) price is about $700k (C$630k) …so do-able, if tight to start with, for youngsters (like you..!) \n\n- I’ve been to Vancouver’s East Hastings St, and so can confirm is nowhere close to that in Oz. Are sketchy parts of all cities, but it’s definitely not community wide\n\n- are small pockets of homelessness (esp but not only indigenous community) but the governments are mostly (sort of…) “on it” \n\n- sun, sea, sand… and the sharks rarely come close to shore!

This is very telling and confims what we already knew. Many students are NOT here to study. Most are not. The student visas, which the liberals hand out like candy on Halloween, are simply an easily abused way of getting residency. And the liberals fell for it all hook line and sinker, letting in millions of students who will never leave, and who will then bring in their families as part of the liberal unification. This was their plan all along. Let's face it, Canada does not have an enviable education system. Why would an Indian student pay all that money to come to Canada to go to school, when they can easily get the same education for almost nothing in india? Back door immigration tactics. My kid just started college. His classes were of course stuffed full of international students on the first day or two. Now they don't come at all. They didn't come to Canada to study.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. There is one other reason that hatred towards member of your country is going up and it is simply because our hatred for our own government is so high right now and we are all only human. Some of us lash out at people that do not deserve it when we are really upset. That doesn’t make it ok. But I know that the fact that we Canadians hate our government more than ever right now, is due to the simple fact that our own government is not listening to our issues and what we want done with our country. Then that same government will labels us as right wing extremists simply for the fact that we no longer support our current government for example. Canadians are more angry now than they have ever been. The RCMP have been advised about this across the whole of Canada, so you know it is a real issue. I can control myself and will never snap at others due to how frustrated I am, so I would like to apologize to those of you that may have a bad experience with another frustrated Canadian. This is really not our normal behaviour. We’re are all stressed out and being called the bad guys by our own government just exacerbates the whole issue. Again, cheers to you all!!!

Letting everything happen right under our noses for past 2 decades, and then saying Oh there was a mistake we need to set things right is not a mature way of handling these educated people, most of whom have Masters degrees under their belts. Why so much hate for educated people, we have land, resources and so many towns which needs people with different skills. Train them free of cost and use them for the betterment of the country, why so much love for only refugees and people who come here illegally and without proper credentials, and not for someone who have submitted 100 documents during visa processing....

Canada is NOT RESPONSIBLE or obligated to India in any way! Indian 'students' are SCAMMING our immigration system...and refuse to leave when their 'studies' are completed. Many cannot even speak proper English, nor do they have the skills to add to our economy...yet they still come and bring their entire family tree with them. Then they call us, their generous hosts, 'racist' when they don't get their own way.
