If you, as a post secondary institution, public or private, cannot house, the student’s you recruit or admit , independently on your own volition, then you should not be able to recruit at all. \n\nIn other words, if you recruit them , then you house them on your campus's. Not in the community. \n\nFor decade’s and decade’s, parent’s of gen Z and millennial have stated that their children have been unable to move out of the house. That their kid’s cannot afford the rent that is required. \n\nIf you’re competing with international student money, then finding an affordable apartment is next to impossible. \n\nThere is also the issue of wage suppression that also is a hinderance. There are argument’s being contrived in the opposite but, the evidence is clear. A mushroomed homeless population, children unable to leave home, renoviction’s, eviction’s . Despair and all the things that that despair leads to. \n\nPeople’s own love of humanity has been used against them, as a weapon. That isn’t anti immigrant , it’s self preservation, it’s survival. \n\nUse the “ data “ for the good of Canadian’s , and not for the bad. You the government(s) have the data, use it wisely. Greed can be a sort of cancer. \n\n??✌?✌???✌??

Well if your whole business model is on the premise of getting foreign students and charging them 3X a local in order to survive, then its time to consolidate and remove a lot of schools cause clearly there is no demand for that much schools. Foreign students are just icing and should not be the cake.

The real legal immigration level is also problematic. Last year, we had 500,000 according to the gov't. The real figure is 1.2 million. The universities are also corrupt. They've spent tons of money on building more annexes and campuses and on ballooning the administrative staff. They then depend on foreign students to survive.

NO!\n\n3- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a sufficient monthly payment, including the rent of a house befitting human dignity, balanced and sufficient nutrition expenses, summer and winter clothing, daily transportation costs within the city, monthly house bills, communication and correspondence expenses, equal and sufficient education payment, cultural activities and a daily pocket money so that they can live humanely?...... NO!\n\n4- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a solid, safe and clean social structure where they can live freely without any risk to themselves and their families, where they feel completely safe and without any fear, anxiety and concern in terms of attack and crime?....... NO!\n\n5- Did the Canadian government provide the newly arrived immigrants with a democratic state and a fair social society structure where there is no racism, discrimination, inequality of opportunity, favoritism, incompetence and harassment, whether covert or overt?........ NO!\n\n6- Did the Canadian government grant any right to vote or be elected to immigrants who came to the country legally during their stay in Canada until they became citizens, did they give them the right to vote for the party or people who would govern them, did they give them the right to vote at least in local elections other than general elections? ....... NO!\n\n-So, do you think that the Canadian government, which does not fulfill any of these, is a country ready to accept immigrants? ....... OF COURSE NO!\n\nTHEN, the Canadian State and its government do not have the right to say a single word about immigrants, and the Canadian State should now prepare the trillions of dollars that the immigrants themselves will pay as a result of the compensation lawsuits they will file against all these human rights violations that the state has implemented against immigrants for years, in a planned and systematic manner, unfairly and mercilessly. The Canadian government has deliberately left the immigrants it has accepted into the country, whether they are illegal or legal, hungry, helpless, unemployed and poor, has implemented all kinds of racism, discrimination and harassment against immigrants, has torn families apart, has never allowed them to feel safe in Canada, has not taken any timely, appropriate, necessary and primary duty measures to ensure this, and has done all these within the scope of its fully conscious and previously established anti-immigrant policies and the plans and programs to which those policies belong, because otherwise it could not use and exploit immigrants to their core, in this sense, it is the Canadian State itself that is carrying out human smuggling and immigrant trafficking.

Why is the increase of foreign students an issue? We have an old dying population that is a burden on the health and social systems. These kids have to pay the enormous tuitions and pay rent and taxes to survive. They contribute 10 times as much as the Canadians each year. It sounds like xenophobia at its best. Well, if international students and the 7:1 ratio of fee structure is the main source of survival for these universities and colleges then its a clear indication that these universities and colleges are on ventilators. It would be better to manage and find ways of self reliance without the dependency on international students or shut them down.

If you're an international student and you can't afford to rent for example in Vancouver and Toronto than don't come here. It's no secret some international students turn to prostitution, sell drugs and go to food banks in order to survive. Don't come to Canada assuming study permits automatically means you will get Canadian citizenship.

At least with a ponzi scheme the early adopters actually get paid so long as the scam keeps going. For these students, every subsequent graduating year of revolving door international student diploma mills, their degrees or diploma's devalue as thousands more pile in and strain our infrastructure causing everything else to become more expensive. It's only sustainable now because the number of marks keeps increasing as poorer nations populations explode as they develop their economies. Eventually, the winds will change and the foreign opinion of canada and it's education system will fall and they will look elsewhere and these schools won't be able to survive.

Universities have lost all credibility. Why feed anything into a system designed to help proliferate wars and genocides abroad while increasing surveilance domestically and suppressing dissent from conscionable youth through militarized force? The system is cooked... bring in international students to financially support our failing insitutions, then put unreasonable limits on how many hours they can work. I’ve been to India I survived and lived in India such a better life than in Canada. The medical care in India is phenomenal, not like here for sure. The food is less expensive. You pay five dollars for your medical appointment and that includes the medicine and you in like 15 minutes.

This is the true picture in many western countries. We have to be physically and mentally strong to survive the initial struggle period. Self-reliance and driving skills are must. If you are well settled in India, better to send the children for higher education when they are old and mature enough to manage on their own. If you have dependant children, it is better for the man to go first, live as a boarder with some family, settle down, and then call the family .

I am sad about everything that is happening now. \n\nSad for Canadians and the new generation of students coming with improper planning. Some can't even speak decent English. Some are not interested in studying and getting local degrees. No solid long term plans. \n\nSome of them have no respect for local culture as you mentioned. Rude and unruly behaviour has become a common site in some areas. It is expected that most Canadians will come to detest all that. It's only natural. I can't stand it so how would they, who have never been exposed to that? \n\nDuring Covid, govt let students work FT, they let them come without asking for proof of sufficient funds to support themselves. Because of that, many people brought their families and the spouses were allowed to work as temporary workers. \n\nAll this was to be a temporary arrangement but people moved in droves without considering the possibility of things changing. They figured that between two jobs, however small, a family could survive. Sadly, not true. We already have a crisis at home and this made things even worse for the locals. There are low income families here as well. Things like Covid and the war has affected Canada badly. \n\nGovt failed to make it clear that the lifting of work restrictions for students was a temporary move. People also got carried away. In the end, everything has become a royal mess. As I said, it is a sad situation for both sides.

People need to stop trying to game our immigration system. The abuse is hurting the Canadian people and immigrants. We have mass homelessness and housing crisis, a drug epidemic and high unemployment. Our economy is in recession. There are no opporunities here anymore. The Canadian dream is ruined. Its very sad.\n\nPeople who arriving with no where to live or work and are living on the streets in -40°. People are dying on out streets becoming isolated in a foreign nation they dont know how to survive in and lots are becoming depressed and addicted to drugs or start commiting crimes. How they will buy house or stuff? They have received student visa or Perment residency.they have come here by getting loan from bank or borrowing money from others.

This is ridiculous. The majority of the homeless are homeless because they don't want to work the jobs. As a greenhouse manager, the local people don't want to work the jobs that the foreign workers work which is why we are required to bring them in in the first place. I have had many local workers try working in the greenhouse only to quit within weeks because they couldn't handle the work or even the heat that is required. So how are we supposed to depend on local people to do the work? The would be a worker turnover every 3 - 6 weeks. With this program we can bring in people who WANT to do the work because its a better opportunity for them than what they have back home. This is NOT the way to fix the homeless problem. High rent, high taxes and high economic standards are the cause of eat. People cant AFFORD to buy food, pay for living costs and even survive in todays society. This foreign worker programs ALLOWS us to get the work done. \n\nForeign workers brought in on the SAWP program or even low skill program aren't stealing job, they are doing the work that Canadians don't WANT to do as they can't handle it or even believe it's beneath them. Todays youth will never do the work that these people do for us. I respect the work that they do. I would love ANYBODY in the comments below to come to my farm in the middle of summer and spend 8 - 10 hours under the sun for a week and then see what their opinion is.

No it's economic survival. Our kids can't find work. TFW are taking jobs in fast food and retail, not agriculture. Their money gets sent home. It doesn't stay here and it doesn't benefit our economy. It doesn't support all of our social programs. If the next Gen can't get even part time minimum wage work then down the road who's paying for healthcare, education, welfare, CPP, OAS etc?? It's not hard to put on your critical thinking cap and realize the only ones benefitting from TFWs and foreign students are post secondary facilities and immigration consultants and lawyers.

Prime facia, why so many want leave their mother land. Mostly majority not getting quality job. With their meager income a family cannot survive.
