Canada is one of the worst countries in the world if you want to live a reasonable life. No jobs for highly qualified and highly experienced professionals, completely messed up housing, extremely cold and depressing weather, incompetent government and many incompetent people in the industry as well. \n\nIf you want to ruin your life completely, come to Canada.

Your research for healthcare system is not accurate. If we talk about some special cases like gynaecologist you don’t have to wait for such long time as you mentioned in your research in this video……. For common cases u definitely have to wait for it but for sure not for these emergency cases…… and if we talk about life and expenses it will definitely be hard for people who are not educated well, who don’t have any skills.. but if you are well educated and you have skills you can earn as much as you want to….. \n\n\nIf you are well educated and have skills you can afford anything and have best life … And all about drugs even if government made them legal it’s upto you that you are using them or not….. nobody will force you to take them….

I have some comments about some of the things in the video. Including Olivia Chow in the video when talking about housing affordability with local government policies I don't think is right to inlcude her as she only got elected last year and has to deal with all the decisions and issues from the past Toronto mayor. It's similar to blaming Biden for the economic issues of the US when a lot of the reasons for the downturn economy in the US during his first term was the impact of the economic policies that Trump put in place, it takes time. In terms of the carbon tax, I think its a valid criticism with the compounding issues canadians are facing, but also take into consideration that the provincial governments also have some play with this, as they have the ability to go for the standard carbon tax or implement a cap and trade. A lot of conservative governments like to complain about the federal government about this, but they are also to blame for some of the lack of affordability for political points. As well for the banking fees, we do have a smaller selection of banks, but there are some options that Canadians can have that do not include fees (Simplii, Tangerine). Everything else in the video I agree on, I also think personally that all political parties need a shake up in leadership.

People are leaving the U.S. as well. Same reasons. Especially the retirees. The government in the U.S. (especially the states/cities) give no breaks to the elderly on fixed or limited incomes.

Ironically due to the economic conditions and mass immigration, younger Canadians aren’t having children anymore due to it being hard enough to get by without any dependents. I’m in my mid 20s, lots of married friends, none will entertain the idea of kids.\n\nWhat I would prioritize changing:\nA more thorough immigration process that does not favour any country over another. And spread the people out to the smaller communities that need workers instead of turning Toronto into whatever it is. Reduced taxes for your first property, but additional if you own several (a system similar to what Norway does). Reduced foreign ownership in our home real estate market (home should be for families, and not financial assets for international businesses).\n\nAnd like the video said some more darn infrastructure. In my childhood, I saw entire neighbourhoods being built in - timely fashions. Now it’s rare to see a single home under construction in my home city. Some smaller Canadian towns I know even lack potable water.\n\nWith the market so bad no one wants to build or buy which is just amplifying the issue.\n\nAnd no carbon tax. I apologize for getting political, but the last 10 years the federal government seems to be more concerned with values and foreign intervention than fiscally responsible decisions. The culture can dictate the values, I just want the government to make the trains run on time.\n\nI hope it gets better soon but I think we are cooked. Least for the foreseeable future.\n\nIt’s ludicrous to be taxed as much as we are here as well. If ur gonna take 40% of my paycheck least make sure its being put to good use. Had to do a double take last time I was in BC and the bill included a “carbonated beverage tax”

And the nail in the coffin for housing, ZONING LAWS! Look into the restrictions put onto those wanting to build houses, towns, cities. It's insane, and makes it nearly impossible to build ANYTHING but single-family suburbs in the middle of nowhere. No work/industry nearby, nothing accessible without a car. The most beautiful places in Canada, and the most enriching to live in (Old Toronto and Montreal for example as well as countless small towns) could NEVER be recreated. Although, Old Toronto is actively being destroyed because of new zoning laws. In Europe, new developments are built for less money, yet Canadian ones are cheaper with houses practically being made out of cardboard. Europe also invests in cities with reliable public transit and are much safer to walk and cycle in without huge roads and highways everywhere. This allows for much denser housing and affordable communities. Canada is being eaten by Capitalism and pretending to be a Socialist government, the worst of both worlds.

Becaused they listen to stupid lies from a scheming government. What did they all think they could increase the population by 1/3 over 20 years and prices wouldnt go up? That housing wouldnt become an issue? That there wouldnt be enough firefighters or fire stations yo support the needs of all these new people? Interview someone who is experienced in Canadian life as well as government system, otherwise your information is totally have no meaning, per capita income in Canada is $55000 per anum, in India per capita income is $2500, in India 0.8 billion on hunger line if not getting 5 kg ration support. Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place—jobs, healthcare, housing—to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.\n\nCanada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system—it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.\n\nWe see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

The problem is with how immigration is set up. The general population is ok with immigration as long as most people coming in adapt at least somewhat to Canadian culture while integrating their own.\n\nI'd say thats what Trudeau had/has in mind cause thats what Montreal is like. \nBut its like that cause the Quebec government focuses on secularism & French Nationality which creates a sort of blended dynamic that's still uniquely Quebecois.\n\nThat doesnt work so well in other Provinces.\n\nAlternately, the goverment may be trying to turn Canada into a true melting pot, which would create a different Canadian culture and identity than we currently have. \n\nHowever, that only works out when you bring in an equal # of people from different Countries wnd ethnicities.\n\nWhat we have right now is a system that seems to bring a certain percentage of immigrants per Country. Using that math, India and China will always send out more people as they're the most populous and crowded. Hence why Eastern Canada has a lot of Indian immigrants and Western has a lot of Chinese.\n\nThe government will need to get a handle on it and at least even it out if not also slow the flow, lest we risk a rise in xenophobia/isolationism and racism which has already started to make the rounds.

They all immigrate to PEI because it is the quickest way to seek citizenship in the country, as soon as they gain it they move to Ontario. I have met many wonderful people from India through work and because of our government choosing to allow so many people over here without providing proper housing for not only the new immigrants, but also for our own native born citizens, there is nothing available at any decent price for young people like myself who want to move out from their parents homes. It's also causing a lot of people to be racist towards Indians when the fault truly lies in our government. And because we are allowing so many people over here without proper background checks and things such as that we are also allowing people over here that could pose a threat to women or others. I had a cab driver last week (who was from India) who tried to hit on me and told me he left India because he was getting into too many physical fights over in India and also told me he had gotten into physical fights with some of his customers as well. It was scary for me as a woman to be in a car with that man who was taking me to my home. The government needs to do better for us. We feel alone and ignored when it comes to this. The greed pushing this stupid, and not properly thought out, immigration policy needs to be put to an end so that the people who have lived here their whole lives can get a chance at life.

I would also add that canada is housing casino for foreign investors with money into Canadian real estate to clean their money while making huge profits running arbnb business, room rentals, flipping homes, having multiple home while not even Canadian citizen or barely living in Canada. Billions of dollars laundered money have been pumped into Canadian real estate fron abraod especially in past 15 years through casinos and other loop holes. Government is corrupt and is fully aware of it but tries to play blind because who can win against real estate mafia? @AbhiandNiyu : I’m a Canadian citizen of Indian descent. I agree with the issues you have highlighted but I disagree with the narrative you have presented. Here are my reasons why - \n\n1. Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. A good 30-40% criminals in prison or on bail in these cities are of India ethnicity. \n\nIt is behaviours like these by Indians in the recent few years that has thoroughly infuriated native Canadians and now they hate the rest of us that have lived here peacefully and have been good citizens. These students from India came to Canada under a student visa knowing fully well that they are supposed to go back after the completion of their studies, and now they are DEMANDING that they be issued extensions in work permits and be considered for PR. This is insane! This is because they never intended to return to India in the first place and were abusing the system as a back door entry. They are threatening to go on hunger strikes and what not. Legally, on a student visa, they are NOT allowed to participate in any sort of activism. \n\nNOBODY that comes to our country on a temporary visa (student, tourist etc.) has the right to dictate terms to us and demand that we change our immigration policies based on their preferences. Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. We don’t have any greenery in our country we really need to work on improving that but neither the people nor the government is interested in making good changes or even have such idea in head ! Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. I am a Canadian and I have seen the sharp decline of Canada over the past decade which makes me very sad. According to many 'experts' they paint a dire picture of the nations future as the rate of inflation spirals out of control and we are buried beneath a mountain of debt. On the ground level, homelessness is an epidemic that the powers that should not be seem to want to sweep under the rug, while they race bait and spout off about woke ideology. They are more worried about transgender rights and castrating children while with anyone with eyes to see are witnessing the very breakdown of their society around them, people are dying in the streets from fentanyl overdose. Due to some people and some poor policies too that allowed such people in the country, there is a rising hate for community and your video can trigger it even more although I personally stand for the side that you are showing but there’s a second side of this as well. It's a myth that Canada needs massive immigration, especially when Canada doesn't have enough affordable housing for everyone.
