America has fought HARD for centuries to achieve freedom. We’ve shed infinite amounts of blood for the rights we have. Freedom isn’t free. It takes centuries to get to that. People think it sucks to have to spend ten years becoming a legal citizen here, well count yourself lucky that you didn’t have to shed any blood, lose any family members, fight against an oppressive enemy for your rights, or lose your house in a battle for a free country. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look up American history. Count how many battles were fought; how many wars; how many people died; how many Americans became POW’s on our own land during the Civil War. Look how hard it’s been. Look how hard it is now. We never stop fighting for what we want. Freedom takes work. America isn’t some island paradise. It never has been. We all live on the same earth. We all experience hardship. And there’s no amount of money, illegal border crossing, or anything else that can keep us from that harsh reality. In life we’re going to suffer. That’s just how it is. Stop thinking that illegally crossing a border is somehow going to solve all problems. It won’t. The grass isn’t greener on the other side just because. Bloodshed makes that grass green: Sacrifice. Hard, laborious work; and centuries of time.

*I guess no one is mentioning the most absurd fact here: THESE PEOPLE ARE FROM VENEZUELA!!!?? Venezuela is 2700 MILES and TEN COUNTRIES AWAY from El Paso! That means that 100% of these people are not asylum seekers nor refugees, they are economic migrants and have ZERO right to even attempt entry in to America legal or otherwise, as they have traversed across 10 SAFE COUNTRIES where their asylum needs were met. And starting off the first seconds of your entry in to a host country by molesting its National sovereignty and disregarding its laws makes you a scum fuck who doesn’t deserve to be here. If you really needed asylum, you would go to the next safe country. The moment you are safe and choose to go further, is the moment you are no longer a refugee or asylum seeker, but a greedy selfish chooser pretending to be a beggar. The irony is, america takes in MORE LEGAL MIGRANTS THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY ON EARTH AS IT IS. The only people who benefit from our failing immigration system/border are the elites who get an unending supply of cheap labor to throw in to whatever thresher they need filled, and the illegal aliens themselves who just want money and don’t care whose society they have to stomp on to get it. And all it costs is basic rule of law, functional governance, a loss of fairness on the part of legal immigrants, clogged up systems for genuine refugees, and the native working class of America have to compete with foreigners for low skilled jobs and their taxes get siphoned off with every illegal migrant that enters the nation. Somehow no one in politics has the stomach to do mass deportation nor border defense, hmm I wonder why? (Looks over at elites’ thresher) If you are from Venezuela and claiming to be seeking asylum at America’s border, WHILE STANDING IN MEXICO where you could seek asylum and choose not to, then you’re a liar and a piece of shit. Our country is in shambles yet the progressive democrats want to hand out another 31 trillion in US tax dollars to people who won’t pay a cent to our country, who don’t care if they topple america and won’t fight for their own country. Put troops on the border and physically enforce the border. It’s not fair that there’s Europeans and Asians and Arabs who have to wait to legally immigrate meanwhile South American countries pound our southern border with drugs, illegal prostitution of young women and children. Build the wall, take any illegals as attackers of this nation.

Our forefathers fought and more importantly died to get rid of the tyrants in our country. These people are unwilling to do the same which means they are not worthy of Americanship. If all of the millions and millions upon millions would coalesce into a fighting force men and women together they could flood and overwhelm the tyrants in their own country and created a place where perhaps after a while they could become a player on the world stage. They want to stow away not having paid for their passage to the very land that demands our own blood sacrifices to maintain. We send our young ones to the military some die some are maimed....and they are blessed heroes for it. These people have no desire to fight for liberty therefore they deserve none.

We had a President that was against this, that wanted a wall. Now, we’re giving free housing, food, phones, healthcare, paid job training and even higher education, and the list goes on! I’m not sharing my opinion on social; however, I am stating a fact. I’m not going to comment on what I think would happen if just one or two families left this group and went down the road a few miles and found another way in. I’m not saying that’s right, but say it’s what happened… they’d get the above. I also see many comments here saying these people should fight for their country and try to make it right… well, I don’t see Americans standing up to our government and doing what is right. Look at what is happening to our own country right now! We are about to have no religious freedoms, and no democracy anymore, all because we aren’t using our own voice. One world government and one world religion. That’s what we’re headed for. Oh, and a cashless society, all while we are being monitored the entire time. I hope this is what you want. In many countries they are in desperate situation thanks to the US. Let's not forget what they did to El Salvador, Nicaragua, etc in the 80s. This is what Dominican Republic has to deal with every day with Haiti , but alot of people in media want to call us racist and protecting our borders too. Every country should be able to protect their people and nation. I can fully relate and agree with everything you said and more not said. I never thought I would hate being Canadian or my home country but Justin pushed me past the line. And I like and hate both cities at times but realize neither are lovable. \n\nMontreal is grey 80% of the timeand the people are so rude and hurtful. I hate the french just absolutly hate them. It is systimatic discrimination. \n\nWinnipeg is green and sunny in summer but winter is very very harsh as Canadian all know. Winnipeg has friendly people, but also some very violant people to the point I get into fights and or breakup fights and had to open carry a knife, and do wing chun. It is just harsh all around. \n\nThen I look into Toronto, and well that is even more expensive then anywhere else. \n\nAs I say I agree with all your points and maybe Portigal or Spain are intersting. Maybe after this was in Ukraine I will go there to make money, and move to a nice affordable place where I can keep working and enjoy the changes it offers me.

If the United States actually jumped in for the people of Mexico, their hearts may be swayed and they won't be allies with Russia. You can't say you have conflict with one country and their friends be the neighbor. I just had a vision of the whole US wiped out by Russia, minus CA who didn't want to fight in WW3. Well what happened was like three hundred plus years ago there was an invasion into this country from European Invaders and the natives who are indigenous to this land tried to fight vigorously to keep this land but unfortunately with modern technology being on the foreign Invaders side they wanted this land America and after the British claim victory they took this land over plundered it and now the Mexicans and Native Americans want their land back. The American government, butts their noses in other countries affairs, such as Ukraine, Iraq, Germany etc throughout the past 100 anõs I think that’s how you spell years in Spanish lol. Yet we do not step in and figure out why our South American countries have it so bad that they fight tooth and nail to come to North America for a better life. In conclusion, how about we go to the south American countries stop all the horrible things that are going on in those South American countries so that way they can have a better life where they are. Maybe then they won’t want to come here illegally in droves no matter what the cost. Because no one is doing anything for them. I’m sorry but America can’t be the savior to the world. Our patriotism and laws mean that we are one of the most free nations and a large percentage of us would fight and do fight to keep our nation secure. Sad reality is that not all countries have the laws we do… and that sucks. But the world needs to understand that our laws and our freedoms end at our borders. Life unfortunately is not fair and some have to endure the realities of where they were born. If we let everyone in who wants to come then our country would be in much worse shape than it already is.

I want the US government to help these people but these people need to fight for their own country and quit flying to the US government one day discussion. This isnt right! If you want to come to another country u have to go thru the proper channels - JUST like everyone else does. I get there may be issues happening in your country. These people have a very small footprint in American History, they didn’t even fight for civil rights but, want to enjoy the benefits.

If they can illegally force their way in, imagine what havoc they’ll wreak on the economy and the crimes they’ll commit to get what they want in America. I don’t understand what they’re trying to accomplish here. Your best bet is to rise up together as a population and fight for better conditions with your government by any means necessary. This solves absolutely nothing. Why the hell would you want to leave your home?

I am latino and i hate how people would rather risk dying to get to country where they are not wanted and will be discriminated against even if they did go through the system correctly. Why not use that courage/bravery to fight your countries tyranny. I would rather die in the country that i was born in then to fight for a country that is divided and very prejudice against others. Also it sucks that lot of latino migrants are usually from southern latin America and they will try to tie them to Mexicans. Most of these people arent Mexican and trust me Mexicans are also somewhat conservative and have tried to tell migrants to not try this.

Tell me is this what you are wanting from our government? White powerful men murdered, stole land, inflicted disease and forced them onto reserves. They kidnapped their children and forced them to go to residential schools. Many Indigenous children never went back home and parents weren't informed if they died. The survivors that returned home have PTSD which still affects their families and community. Treaties are not honoured and they are the most disrespect people in Canada. We see the homes some live in and we wouldn't allow our pets to live there and some don't have clean water to this day. Our government has provided some relief; however, it is a trickle of the help and support they deserve. Many Canadians deem them as drunks, drugged and/or lazy. If we had and have to live like that we would be the same. The government whitewashed our history and don't teach true history. If you knew their true history you would be amazed at how strong many are and they continue to fight with not a lot of support from the rest of us.\n\nSo, tell me is this the help you want from our government?

I don't understand why these people feel entitled to live wherever they want. I don't understand why they run from their troubles at home instead of confronting them. I have so much to say. I'm afraid of sounding racist. I dont like it. Dealing with this right now! There has been an influx in my town. Now there isnt housing left when we were fine before. My children are being slighted when they could be celebrating their 1st apartment. My interaction has been poor with a few of these people. Impossible to communicate. Very awkward having an 8 yo translate. Many want to move into nice neighborhoods but never follow the city code enforcement or rules. Then hide behind don't speak English! The US complains about growing illegal crossings from Canada to the US, meanwhile the US and CBP agents literally pay illegals in the US, to come to Canada. The illegals are provided cash, food, transportation and directions to an illegal crossing into Canada. Well Canada is a great country, my grand parents were able to get here in 1957 with their 3 kids, after going through and surviving WWII, work in Europe was scarce and employers were abusing their workers everywhere. My dad was one of those 3 children's, he met my mother here, they had me and my sister. Today i have 3 boys of my own and my sister has 2 girls. Canada has any country as their plusses and minuses, but i wouldn't live anywhere else. I've lived my whole life on the south shore of Montréal, worked in and around Montréal for 35 years. Never ran out of work as long as i was willing and able to work. I've worked in all my life, 65% immigrants and 35% Québecer's. There both are kinda racists in some way and they have there own reasons as well. I was bullied in school till i was 11 years old, i had an accent and dressed differently since my dad made our clothing. Being ridiculed, pushed, punched etc, and then one day the bully of the school approached me and wanted to fight me. I was scared, everyone else were laughing, so i clenched my fist and punched that kid right on the nose. Everyone got quiet and the principal came out, we went to his office and then he asked me straight away : Are you gonna do this again or was it a one time thing ?? I said it will be one time thing unless someone else wants to fight me again, then i will have to defend myself again. He said ok and now go back to class, and that was that. But in the 1970's with the augmentation of people moving here after WWII, people in Canada were scared immigrants would steal their jobs etc. My grand father worked all his life till he died at 82 years old. Worked 6 days a week, 12 to 16 hours a day. My dad had worked all his life 70 hours a week and sometimes 85 hours a week. People complaining about doctors or hospitals, a lot are going in for a cold, the flu, headaches etc, for sure take 2 aspirin or tylenol and stay home, no need to see a doctor for that. If you have a broken limb or were in an accident, you go right in and get fixed up without issue really. Any country as it's inconveniences in the end ?

I'm a born and raised Canadian, but my friends and my fiancé are all from the USA, so I've got a firsthand look at the differences in our cultures and countries.\n\nOne thing I'll say right off the bat, I think a big part of what makes Canada work the way it does, is that we have such a small population compared to the USA.\n\nCanada only has around 35 million people, but there are some states in the USA that have over 40 Million people on their own. \n\nWhen you have that many people crammed together in one location, all fighting for jobs and housing and food and everything, it makes sense why you might have a culture that's a lot louder and self serving, because you have to compete with millions of people if you really want to make something of yourself.\n\nMy hometown of Edmonton Alberta, for example, we had a population of just 500,000. And I think the laid back attitude that a lot of people have in Canada is a product of that. \n\nThat's a big reason our crime levels would appear lower as well, because there's just a lot less of us.

But i don't like my children to have a teacher with hijabs. Nothing wrong with that. Good this part and I am proud. Also I think I don't have to force a country to change it. The problem in Canada are politically correct, PC babies , gays and feminists. If a company doesn't want black or Latinos good for that company. They can choose another.i am proud of Canadians fighting about LGTB.

Plus canadian government pay ppl to say your not a good parent. And take your kids away. And no mother can fight for them. After they been abused or sex traffricked. Were accused instead. You want kids dont have them here. That's why nobody is having kids

I feel I have to speak up, as a Quebecer, the common opinion in the population, especially in the old one is that they fought to have their own country but lost the vote by a tiny % so overall people feel resentful to Canada and the federal governement. Yeah they live in the past, I know, but if we look in history our ancestors had to fight the british over centuries, most of it was fought in institutions and laws, because Quebecers were catholic and british were protestant, also Quebec absolutely wanted to preserve the french language, this unique dialect we have in Quebec. I don't know why language matter so much, but it does. So yeah, maybe that's why Quebec is racist a little, because in order to have the stuff we have now, a lot of nationalistic leader had to be elected. And I completely agree with it, most people wont say mean stuff but they wont mix in with other cultures.
