I would like to add something here to show my gratitude towards Canada. \nI immigrated in Canada and now a Canadian citizen. The best thing Canada has given me are equal opportunities, and system to adopt. \nWhen we immigrated to any country we should respect and obey the rules, culture and values of country. \nIt is hard to say but nowadays some kind of immigrants consultant become greedy and comming students also become blind followers that they are not doing research by themselves. \n\nCanada has very clear and easy to follow immigration rules that any one with basic education can read and understand. There is no place where it is written to give guarantee to PR or extension of the work permit beyond the limit. Usually anyone taking decision to immigrate any another country then obviously need to do some basic and easy home work. \n\nIt is totally not fare and ethically right to protest in the host country to change their clearly defined rules after landing despite of accepting terms while submitting the studen visa. So my humble respect to prospective immigrants and existing students that protesting to change rules in Canada should not be right way to do instead of protest against greedy and lying immigrants consultants who lied with you to save next students and immigrants.

I’ve never voted federally because I didn’t believe in any of the candidates of political parties. (I usually just vote provincial). But this will be my first federal election because I am so tired of him. Even his own wife is tired of him. Canada wants to divorce Trudeau.

I usually like videos from this channel. But i disagree with this analysis. I believe any country can't be either good or bad. Instead of blaming other countries, first fix issues in your home country. India should devoid universities of caste , creed, etc, and only on the basis of merits. Improve the infrastructure of metropolitan cities in india. Mumbai can't be even compared to Toronto. This election has shown that people in India don't have a vision. They almost booed Modis policies. The likes of Amrit pal singh , Mahua Moitra came into power again. So why to blame others !

I am Indian staying in Toronto, the wait times for a scan sucks, by the time you realize it’s something a serious issue the time gets wasted and it will become more serious and the wait for emergency care usually be 5+ hours???

Not a racist, but channeling my inner racist and transphobe and its getting to the point where I as a minority feel bad for the original English people. Where they are actually a minority now and the French have it right by attempting to preserve their language and culture with laws over there. But English Canada has no such protection. Instead we have to combat raising costs of living and house prices because we cannot compete with usual 4 family member households with 16 family member households. I am starting to hate them. Canada suffers massive brain drain as Canadians and Canadian immigrants are leaving in droves. Am I missing something here, Im not sure about open door anything, if you want a job you need to have work permit, if you are old and not eligible for working/holiday visa you need a visitor visa and look for an LMIA approved job ONLY, while already Canada, jobless, as a visitor, IF you get the offer its only then you can apply for work permit and after you got it then they hire you. is that how it usually goes? Or you have tens of thousands of dolars for a college you get study permit that enables you to work too. So, I dont see how is immigration to Canada easy and I have absolutely no clue how Indians and rest of the gang do it in such large numbers. Do they all just come on visitor visa and hope for the best? what about accommodation, money?

As much as I love decent Indian people and love their culture, the influx of east Asians due to the liberal governments slack immigration policies also brings with it the opportunists, the criminals, and the gangs that have no intention of assimilating. To them it's business as usual while exploiting everything Canada has to offer. Now coast to coast in all major cities we have east asian criminals that don't care about shootouts in public or any other type of violence. Oh and thanks for taking away our means of protecting ourselves while they use weapons smuggled in from the U.S.

When you are looking for discrimination, you usually find discrimination. My experience in Canada (Ontario) has been great.

India isn’t the problem, they speak English, are usually educated, they work and they pay taxes. The problem is imports that don’t work or pay taxes and receive welfare for life

20 years ago, international students were the cream of the crop. They usually came from upper class families and were wealthy. Some of these were my friends, who went to boarding schools abroad and decided to come to UT for their bachelor's. Many went on to graduate school in the United States or Switzerland and never came back to Canada again. They were not here to be Canadian citizens. They were already very wealthy and there was no incentive to be here. I learned a lot from their experiences. The international student route was never meant to be a pathway to citizenship.

I've never been to Brampton, but is this video insinuating that Indian immigrants = white people L's? That is kind of the vibe I was getting... these first world countries need immigrants too as the birth rate drops below replacement level. Usually there are lots of reasons why a city deteriorated. I guess an equivalence might be Mexicans immigrating into the U.S. Yeah, there are some rough Mexican neighborhoods but not all of them.

They love america.. they get good jobs easy over here.. most of them get better paying jobs than us citizens and they have no social security number.. They stick together over here, their people get them brand new cars, jobs and apartments.. When i lived in Charlotte many of the women from central america had an apartment, car and job within a week of being here.. Many of the women come here pregnant or immediately get pregnant. They can get free medical and food cards for their children when their born on us soil.. Construction companies, cleaning services, restaurants, salons and hotels will hire them before they hire people who already live here because of their good work ethic reputation.. High rent doesnt bother them because alot of migrant live in groups of 5 to 10 people.. That usually means at least 2 to 3 men working in the same home.. Thats 2 to 3 incomes so 1600 to 2500 rent is nothin to them..Not to mention their wives work half the time so thats another income..

In a small town, central Ontario. Our local grocery store, all the employees were/are from town… neighbours, who’d worked there for years, decades for a few. The ownership changed hands a few months back. All the employees (a third of the number that usually works a shift) are new hire immigrants, the cashiers recently arrived. Clearly they’re being under payed and do more… this is about the top raking in as much as possible. It’s a greed game. I wonder if corporations are bringing people in to be at beckon call, provide housing… like pimping. Canadians and new immigrants are the pawns in all their schemes. \nOh… and some of the best priced items that our family used as staples are no longer on the shelves! ?

Tyler, most Canada who can pay for extended health care if their employer offers it! Because of what's not covered... Usually it's co pay in better jobs, 50/50 or employees pay the whole cost... if it's offered. So obviously our tax paid basic health care isn't so great unless you're old or poor.

Canada goes to these countries and market themselves so that why u see young students are coming to Canada . 10 years ago not many people knew Canada in many countries everyone wanted to go to USA . But then Canada started to go to those countries and tell them to come to Canada , pay for high tuition and they may get a chance for PR. Same as Canadian running to US for work and stay there longer than usual .

Canada is very expensive. One of my friend who had moved there with her husband and is employed and well paid as usual in IT industry says it is much more difficult even with double salary on the higher levels to sustain in parts of Canada like Vancouver as the prices are extremely high including rental and commodity prices.\n\nI had tried for Canada but could not gather enough points due to my age, probably it has turned out a blessing

The reason the officer had a tiff with the jerk husband it seems. You can’t try to lord over government officials. ?usually Indian embassy’s officials are always civil. At least from the video the official said the husband was shouting at him. So civility was lost from both sides.

As a Canadian who can trace is lineage to the early Saskatchewan settlers, many of the negatives experienced by immigrants are also experienced by those born here. \n\nIt’s ALWAYS been insanely difficult to find a well paid job here. Unless you know someone inside the organization who can pull you in, you’ll have an uphill battle. Who said they don't want to go home? Canada invites international students with a promise to give them PR if they can finish school and qualify using one of the programs. I know because that's how I came to Canada. Unlike the US where it's hard to stay and you need a marriage, in Canada you can use a qualifying job. Usually people sponsored by family to get PR, as well as refugees, are put ahead of international students as well as those on work permits. \n\nIn the meantime, International students over-pay into post secondary, as well as working off campus and paying taxes, but are always last in line when it comes to being granted PR. The rules change so much so fast, it's easy to find yourself out of time and kicked out of the country. \n\nSo whoever watches this will be happy that International students are getting kicked out, but the problem with too much immigration won't be solved because the country is still taking in so many refugees. Right now it's international students getting the axe and are the scape goats in ths game. \n\nAlso, the reason why Canada takes in more immigrants beyond the obvious, is because they want to eventually do away with property rights. So while people can cheer kicking out international students, it doesn't prevent the inevitable from happening, because the politicians took in too many new people.. \n\nAnyway, good luck to everyone, from either side of this debate, it's bad news all around wharever the final outcome.
