I'll tell you about prices in Canada. (please fact check me fellow Canadians, I wrote this in a rage. Also, most of this is from Ontario cause I live there) The monopolies here are insane. Highways that were built using tax payer money were sold to companies and now Canadians need to pay to us it. Most grocery stores are owned by a few major companies and I see butter prices rising every few months. A 1L carton of cream at my local store is $8! I won't talk too much about housing cause it's obviously sh**. I will say a couple of years ago the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford (my greatest enemy), was releasing the protection of the green belt, a protect part of Ontario used for agriculture. He said he would use it to build new homes, great right? NOPE. First of all, the green belt is used for food to reduce prices for Canadians cause its local. He has stated he would move it to another location but that land there is less fertile. The worst thing is, the reason he is saying he would use the green belt to build houses is because the land there is very valuable. And guess who owns that land? His BUDDIES! That means he would sell that land to developers and his buddies would get all the profit cause the money developers use to buy the land will directly be put on the buyer. Not to mention, Doug Ford, the same person, since his instatement as premier, has cut the Ontario education budget by 50%. 50%!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Can't even afford air conditioning in schools where the weather is so extreme. Rogers? The largest internet provider in Canada? Absolutely cr*p. So many complaints about bad connection and cutoffs which I also experienced when my mom bought one of their products and my internet was sh** for a couple of months. The ONLY, and I mean only, good major thing Trudeau has done is legalize marijuana. Another thing I forgot to mention is that our government is made up of criminals. Doug Ford, he and his family use to partake in drug dealing. Another major complaint is the ttc which is public transportation costing so damn much! As a student, it costs me over $1000 a year to get to school using the ttc. The times aren't even that great either as even on a major road, I had to wait 25 minutes to get a bus. Thats my rant.

It’s not racism, the influx of Indians coming to Canada is getting out of hand and needs to be controlled. It’s like introducing an invasive species to a foreign land and messing up the ecosystem. Canada is just doing it’s part, altough it’s already a little late.

Yes the cost of living has spiked everywhere in Canada, but I think part of the problem is people only wanting to live in the big metropolitan centres. People are made to believe that “Canada” just means Toronto, or Montreal, or Vancouver, but the country is 5500km across and has over 8000 cities. If people get over the romantic idea of living “the big city life”, and just focus on where they can live well, they will be better off. Most Canadian born citizens can’t even afford those places anymore, especially Vancouver. And those large metropolitan cities are actually the least representative of what greater “Canada” is really like anyway.

India is a big nation with with diverse peope. The Indians in Canada are Punjabis. So blame Punjabis not ALL Indians. Also the issue with Punjabis in Canada is immigration fraud and exploiting poor Punjabis young people who came for a better life. Also many of the low paying jobs are getting taken over by Punjabis as part of immigration fraud and people are getting angry because other canadians feel discriminated. The truth is that it is not a racism but it is part of the immigration fraud and exploitation of these young Punjabis that their parents spent tons of money to come to canada. Let give you an example, Punjabi managers at lets say company X will hire and sign his/her work permit visa and make them pay $30K as a bribe. \nThese practices harm both Canadians and Punjabi young people who came for a better life. \nIn conclusion, let's not blame ALL punjabis and blame the Canadian government for allowing the crisis to develop.\nBtw, i am not an Indian but i just wanted to give a fair comment. \nTake care

Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. Generally this happens when years ago real estate was cheap all the Indians moved in to the cheaper part of the community then slowly took over, and invaded the community. Same happened in 1995 in Richmond BC when Hong Kong leases expired with China. This once beautiful community was completely invaded.\n\nSo much for immigrants who immigrate to Canada that do not understand how Canada works and frankly don't care, There is no education program to help integrate such people to be multicultural , unfortunately this happened with the old Europeans as well as little Italy, and other areas where other European took over little areas of Toronto. \n\nHowever I think Brampton, and Surrey/North Delta/Richmond BC. Is far far worse and much more invaded by people not wanting to truly integrate in Canadian society. It's blantantly in your face and when and event happens india or any other countries of such immigrants are coming from they amsss huge protests to bring it to the media as if Canada is responsible for that. Canada isn't responsible for crap going in other countries and we should no be financially supporting any of it so just ignore these people because they frankly don't care about Canada if they did they'd learn about Canada and be more adaptable instead of pointing fingers and calling the locals in the community they invaded racist. \n\nSimilar things are happening in the Canadian workplace few immigrants who are fully bilingual won't speak English they completely shun English speaking people working there. It's disturbing that their are double standards for immigration unfortunately Canada has no plan or formula to fixing this other than finger pointing by calling everyone racist that are not like this. Calling others racist for pointing out who is really racist. Insane.\n\nAlso we here that people from India are so poor what a load of crap every one living in these areas are living well above every one else in this country so no Indians are poor they live in oversized homes and numerous high end vehicles how can a poor person from a 3rd world society afford such luxuries in this country?

i think for the most part indian people are hard workers and i deffinatly dont dislike them as a whole but when you bring to many of one race to a country thats supposed to be multi cultural and alot of them refuse to adapt to canadian culture its going to cause issues. Even indians that were born in canada have had enough of it. the infastructure, housing, healthcare ect can simply not support it.

The most important in Canada, this is the rights of islamophobia. Also, the rights of transgender is important too. However, nobody talks about economy, health and ageism. During that period, I experienced firsthand the inflation and social challenges Canada was facing. After much thought, I came to the same realization as you—I need to leave my home country. The surging housing price, cost of living, homelessness, social unrest, and immigration concerns are global issues, particularly in so-called developed countries. I believe these aren't just problems unique to Canada but part of a wider systemic issue. Every society is attempting to tackle these problems in its own way. There's no perfect haven, so it’s crucial to consider whether a society's approach to solving these issues aligns with your own values. I see a lot of comments which are mostly against the international students and are some racist as well. I can understand the pain of Canadian and i am also a canadian now (immigrant), It is a total mess created by the government where government used international students as the cash cow from past 7-8 Years. Its the fault of both sides but the major culprit is the government. I was a also a new immigrant to canada in 2012 and I thanks alot to the open arms welcome for the immigrants by the canadians but when you put a pinch of salt in food its taste good and its was all good until 2015-16. but the government started putting the full carton of salt in small bowl of soup which made the food bitter now not just for the canadian generation but the immigrants which moved to canada before 2016. I hope in the next coming years things will change for canadians. In the last I would, If someone don't wants to welcome me in his home then I should not enter to his home. we should respect that where ever we should go not just canada, it applies to any part of the world and to everyone.

56 years in Canada, live on the west coast the best part of Canada. I would move to the USA in a heartbeat. It is a better nation, more prosperous and affordable. I live in Arizona in winter, love it a LOT. It is generally friendlier when I am in the US than in west coast Canada which is more reserved with less sense of humour (but Ontario and east coast have legendary senses of humour). Health care is scary bad in Canada, a much better value in the US even though it costs more.

How can you go to another country , want to be part of that country and not learn the language, If you cant make an attempt to be part of Canada by learning the language then you dont deserve to be here. How can you be educated here and get jobs here after graduation with poor to very poor English skills. This is what happens when you dont have variety of foreign workers and you dont consider the culture. Why the government gives indian students to work permit for 20 hours or 40 hours. Most of these International students spend $30 to $40,000/- to come here and settle down . The courses which are offered by these no name Candian institutes in which these people enroll into are of ZERO value back home and even here in Canada there is not much value. Ive lost all respect for indian nationals in this country. My great-great-great-great-grandfather came to this country in the War of 1812 his name is Sir Colonel James Fitzgibbon. Our family Legacy is in the history books of saving Canada from being a part of the United States during that war. That is on my mother's side of the family. On my father's side of the family I am native Ojibwe Indian. So my bloodline is purely Canadian. I was raised in downtown Toronto in the seventies and eighties and the most beautifully multi-cultural city in Canada. Never have I had a problem or even thought in any way of being racist. In those days an even until very recently I never had a problem with anyone from India. I loved the culture the food and for the most part people from India have always been very polite and accepting of the Canadian culture.. but that is no longer the case. And enough is enough

Canada is very big. Why all those migrants are only in big cities. They should be moved to places when they can find work and housing is not so expansive. I know Indian people who are doing very well in Dawson City. They are amazing and loved part of community. Canada needs more people. While a lot of what you have said is true, we do not agree that these are people from varied areas within India. To clarify, it is 75% Punjabis+Sikhs, 24% Gujarathis, and the remaining 1% distributed from all other parts of India. Indians have shown themselves as the most uncultured of all the population across the world. The lady is not wrong about the pooping incident. There were Indians spotted doing this, and reports went silent just not to create a major issue with the political situation. It will take decades to mend the damage caused by these Indians in Canada. The well settled Canadian Indian citizens do not form a part of these uncultured Indians who have suddenly grown up in numbers in the last decade and particularly in the last 7 years..

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Put yourseld in our position and you know what I mean.\n\nCanadian Goverment is too nice compare to other western country go and take a look at the US, Australia, British, New Zeland and Europe Nation. If u cannot sustain yourself do you think those gov at given country will give a care abt you? You will 100% deported for sure.\n\nPlease dont ruin this country....Canadian Gov is trying hard to be sympathy but there is time to STOP!!! \n\nI am not far right or left...but please use your COMMON SENSE for ONCE!!!!
