I immigerant to Canada 2008 and lived in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver. I realized I was in the wrong place. 2013, I ran from Canada and never regretted it.\nShe is 100% right. DO NOT go to Canada if you are poor with limited money.\nCanada is a beautiful country. It is a shame the cruppt Canadian GOV makes it so hard for people to live.

My parents immigrated to Canada from Romania when I was nine and I have lived there for 20 years. I can’t remember ever really liking it, but I was made to believe that I was so lucky to be living there but always felt like it wasn’t the place for me. I just couldn’t find any other country where I actually felt good until a Moroccan friend convinced me to visit his country and I fell in love! I think from the moment I started planning my trip there I had already fallen in love with the country! For four years I kept going back until I finally had the courage to settle there! It’s been almost 7 years and I still love it as much as in the beginning (with all its pros and cons, because obviously there are also plenty of cons like in every other country, but the beauty and the people’s kindness and warmth far outweigh any of them:)

Muslims that come here don't want to assimilate. Canada has always been on the map and it will forever be a Christian nation. Don't kid yourselves. They rather bring their 3rd world problems here. They keep voting for LIBERALS. Even tho they are CONSERVATIVE. You get what you voted for!!! Hope you have a safe flight! I'm so sorry to hear what you guys went through. I always thought Canada was the best when it came to nice people but I was wrong. \nAs for country options, definitely check out China, it is such a beautiful and peaceful country. You will deal with little to no racism there. \nCountries to avoid: America ?

Never mind. For just one that leaves Canada , there are like 50 who would like to immigrate to that beautiful country. So don`t worry, Canada will have more people. The more the merrier?

Turkey might be a good choice. Close to Europe, in fact some or many consider it as part of Europe, they wanted to part of EU. Also a muslim country, so, you would be very much at home there. And very beautiful and still cheap, it does not compare to Canada price-wise . :)\nAlso, Turkey is the big supporter of Palestine. :))) If I could speak the language or have a change to work for an automotive company in English, I'd probably just move there and be able to visit mom, extended family and friends in Europe a lot more often.

We r plannnng to move to Canada from Pakistan and working hard for it, however we have our home n everything here. Butnlistening to u guys mashallah... it just opens up my eyes and I realize what m I gona do if my kids would be taken away from me un the name of SAFETY and i am doing this for them. For their better future...and if they go on the wrong track when they grow up and i cnt even stop them. Why would I lqarn parenting from a gott official. U guys should move to turkey jts the best. the Canadian experience I think this depends on your skills and qualifications. I have a number of IT friends who are now in Canada and they were able to find a job in a month without Canadian experience. So I believe it really depends, if you are are a doctor, nurse, even flight attendant probably they will look for that Canadian experience...so to make it short, are you planning to go back to Singapore? I am currently working here in Singapore and getting like more than 10grand a month but it is boring here. In Canada surely I will be able to drive and go to different beautiful places and it is near to US and Europe if you wanna travel. Here, wherever you go here seems like the place is just the same and cost of living here I believe its more expensive compare to Canada. Rentals here for a 3 bedroom reaching 4k a month and so on. So with these are you planning to go back to Singapore???

My family emigrated to Vancouver about 20 years ago from Singapore like you do. That was one of the best gifts that I can give the family. Canada is one of the most livable place in the G7 countries. It maybe hard to start like everybody else. Canada can make you a complete person while Singapore make you half a person because lots of nature and beauty not there and with no voice to speak and resolve your life in Orchard road and malls only. That why you should live in Canada.

Blessed you are with such a vast landmass, nature etc etc. I am from the Netherlands and I do have a special place in my hearth for Canada. My granny did travel to you in the past and so will I do, Canada is absolute on my bucketlist! We Dutch will never forget what you did for our country during the Second World War, without you .....well, cannot keep my eyes dry. The bravery and fallen heroes are still buried on the military graveyards in Europe, especially the Netherlands. Believe me, time will heal the current problems in Canada no worry. My parents migrated from Pakistan to UK in the 1960s, they were the minority Muslims, but pioneers in establishing mosques, halal food in all educational establishments, many work places and major food outlets in majority Muslim areas. They also established Salah places in work and education and public buildings, and also the rights to practice your faith and take time for Salah in working hours.\n\nNow, my family are the fifth settled generation and alhamdolillah, we have many madrassas, islamic schools, and children becoming Hafiz. \n\nWe live in harmony with non Muslims and many are converting daily, the question is if there was no Muslims, how would the Deen be shown and expand in non Muslims countries. Even our Sahabahs went into the world to teach and expand our beautiful faith Islam.\n\nMany Islamic countries are only Islamic my name, they are the biggest contributers to the genocide, as they have not spoken up or helped their Muslim ummah in Palestine. You will also find many covert doctrines in their governments that you may not agree with.\n\nLastly, many Muslim children attend public schools and are being exposed to the LGBT community and we as Muslim parents are teaching them in our homes from a young age, that in islam there is only a man and a woman and no third gender and only a man can marry a woman.\n\nYou can have the best of intentions but you can wrap your children and one day they will be exposed to what is not Islamic, and they need to be taught how to deal with it and hopefully, by showing them their own Islamic values, hopefully also change people's perceptions as they come into Islam.\n\nMaybe, if you stayed in Canada, you could establish an islamic school for your children and other Muslim children to attend, look around where you live, see where you can establish prayer areas, talk to the mall managers and finance prayer rooms, talk to schools, public restaurants, and establish halal foods. Please look at what has been achieved in the UK and you are at the beginning of that in Canada, and think of the Islamic foundation you are setting the future generations of Muslims and also many more Muslims who may convert one day. insha'Allah

The government and the people of Indonesia support Palestine, so it would be far easier for you guys to support Palestine when you lived here. \n2. There's no lgtv agenda in our education curriculum, same sex marriage is not allowed here. \n3. Islamic environment, well Indonesia is the biggest Muslims population in the world around 237 million ppl and also the country with the most amount of masjid (mosque) by far 800.000 roughly. And halal certified products is everywhere, even our mineral water is certified halal. And of course for sister sana and your daughters its free to wear hijab. \n4. Cost of living is way cheaper than Canada, and it's even cheaper than the middle East. \n5. It's a tropical country, with A LOT of beautiful beaches (and also 5 sholat time through out the year doesn't change a lot, very different than Canada). \n\nInshaAllah this will a beneficial information for you guys.

The beauty of Canada is children of all backgrounds are in the same school, rich and poor together.

First of all, we should be careful with the use of the word “hijrat”. There are countries(I happen to be born and brought up in one of them) where muslims actually have a history of persecution, often resulting in riots, deaths. If you compare with Prophet Mohd. saws’s hijrat, it was a result of prosecution, suffering and life risk. Relatively speaking, sometimes our first world problems may look big, but they’re not really, compared to the state of Muslim lives in other countries. \nI have lived in Dubai(2 yrs), US(8 yrs) and Canada(1+ yr) and I want to say that Canada is a beautiful, diverse country for people from all faiths and backgrounds, so much better than what I have experienced living in the above mentioned countries and my own.\nThe grass is always greener on the other side and often we don’t understand these things until we experience them on our own. Make sure that you guys do extensive research in every aspect of your future lives and not just those top reasons mentioned in your video - for each of the probable countries on your list. May Allah guide you to the right path.

I was born in the UK but went to Canada as a young child with my emigrating parents in the early 1950’s. Later we emigrated to the US in 1963. I know I would not enjoy the cold winters of Canada at all anymore if I lived there. I lived in FL for 20 years which I enjoyed except for the hurricanes and rapidly increasing home insurance. I live in North Carolina now where the winter is very manageable. I hope you are able to find a place that meets most of the needs you want to find in a different environment. I am very sorry for what is happening in Gaza and like you I believe it is a terrible Genocide by the Israelis. I am not Muslim and do not belong to any organized religion. I just try to live my life in kindness and with love for others. I love nature, animals and our beautiful earth. May you and your family be blessed in the decisions you are making for your future and very best of luck to you.

The quality of life in the Philippines, no matter how poor we are, could not be compensated by whatever promise there is in Canada. Overall, the Philippines nonetheless has plenty of beauty, comfort, satisfaction, and happiness for those who are hard-working and socially adept to keep their relationships warm with friends and relatives. While there is so much money in Canada, its growing ugly side, which expatriate Filipinos themselves could attest to, is becoming more and more irritating. It is better to invest one's talent in one's native land here and just visit Canada as a dignified tourist than as an unenthusiastic citizen in that country.

I was raised in Canada, got married and came to live with my husband in kosovo about a year ago. At first it was hard as I missed my family and friends in Toronto but when I think about how blessed we are here to practice our beautiful deen freely without worry, plus now expecting our first child it puts my husband and myself at ease. I do fear about the religion part through esp for kids! Allah knows better! However, i am in Dubai and i woukd.advise you both to def come to Gulf countries. I grew up in Saudi, so go to medina (dajjal wont enter there ?), Qatar. If UAE, dont choose Dubai simce that is a mini West anyways..go to other cities like ras al Khaimah where there is natural beauty, serenity, more original Emiratis and your girls can grow up just as you would want them! Do istikhara and remember me in your duas!!!

Salam aleikum, I am European who twenty years ago accepted Islam alhamdulillah. I was a student at university when I first met practicing Muslims and during my year abroad in Canada I got to experience the Muslim community and made the decision to accept the truth. It actually makes me sad to see that Canada goes down the way you described. I like the Canadian people and have beautiful memories from the time I spent there. \n\nAs a European Muslim I also started considering hijra. But my case is a bit complicated: I am the caregiver of my two parents who suffer from ALS and dementia ? As they are totally dependent on my presence, practically I cannot leave....but I also feel the negative things as you described them for Canada. With maybe one exception: our winters are milder and I enjoy our summer. When I travelled to Saudi ,Turkey and Morocco: I liked all of them, but the weather was just too much for me ?

(I hope you read this)\nOkay i have a few suggestions, having lived my whole childhood in Oman i can confirm it’s a beautiful place but Arab country's higher education(college wise) is not that great therefore ,my family moved to India(our roots are Indian) because this being a reason. (Like a lot of families move from gulf countries to their south asian countries for college,having personally experienced as well as my cousins who lived in Jeddah and loads of other relatives)\n1. So pls look for muslim countries that offer good education otherwise you will have to send them again to UK USA Canada for good college.\n2. Abu Dhabi can be a option as well\n3. Saudi Arabia\n4.Qatar\n5. Turkey\n6. Schooling works differently in gulf countries, for example you have Indian schools that run on the CBSE pattern of India, Pakistani schools, Sri Lankan schools, International School with a British curriculum, International schools with American style curriculum, proper Native schools of that country that teach in Arabic.( Again this my experience in Oman, my cousins in Jeddah went to Indian school of Jeddah, so pls wisely choose the school that you want your children to attend)\n\n(this comment is just an opinion, hope it helps. I've heard Morocco is a beautiful country. I don't know much about it, other than being a Muslim country. Wherever your family ends up, I hope that it goes well for you. Good health and a strong faith, and a place you feel safe and comfortable to raise your children. \n\nThe US has the same social and economic problems that Canada is facing.

I am from Pakistan and can't ever imagine leaving my country to go live in foreign lands. Alhamdullilah, I feel very safe here. It is a Muslim country, alhamdullilah, although there is a major class of citizen coming up here who'd like it to be more 'open minded' like the West. May Allah protect us from that day. I would suggest that you move to Saudi Arabia, preferably into or around Makkah or Madinah. I believe that these two are the best cities in the world for Muslims. Imagine saying your five daily prayers in Masjid-e-Haraam or Masjid-e-Nabawi! You kids could study there and grow up speaking and understanding Arabic like Arabs. Imagine the understanding and appreciation they'd have of the Quran and Hadith moreover, they'd be able to reap benefits from the work of all major scholars. InshaaAllah. BUT, on the other hand, you guys are Allah's workers there in Canada. You could do dawah, spread Allah's word (you're doing that beautifully already). You'd be doing what the messengers of Allah did. Think of it this way, if you leave, there'll be one less family supporting Palestine and the Islamic way of life in Canada. Maybe, Allah wants someone like you to represent Him there. Allahu Aalam. There's this beautiful piece of Urdu poetry by Syed Sadiq Hussain, it goes something like this ' Tundi-e-baad-e mukhalif se na ghabraa ae uqaab --- Yeh to chalti hai tujhay ooncha uranay ke liye!' translation:- Do not fear the strength of the head-winds (opposing wind) O' eagle -- it but blows only to help you soar higher! All I'm saying is that there's another way of looking at your dilemma. You guys are like a small, bright light in a dark night and can help lost travelers reach safety. Cheesy, I know. Do Istikhara, let Allah give you His suggestion. Follow it and you can never go wrong innshaaAllah. What ever you decide, our dua'a are with you, uhhibukum fi'llah. Wassalam Wa Rahmah!!

I have lived in Malaysia (5 yrs), Bahrain (7 yrs), Pakistan (born and raised), and now in Canada (4 yrs). Each have had their own pros and cons. \n\nMalaysia has some of the nicest people in the world. Beautiful country, lots of rain, temperatures usually between 28-30C, all year round. Laid back office culture. Lots of work holidays! In the last one decade Pakistani community has grown steadily esp in Kuala Lumpur. English is widely spiken and understood in major cities.\nAs for the cons, very expensive international schools and daycare centers, that would take a huge chunk out of your income. Pakistani food not that easy or cheap to find, but that may have changed since we left. Relatively high cost of living, if you need to live near city centers.\n\nBahrain sees both winter and summer. Not much of other 2 seasons. A large Pakistani, Indian community, so much so that I rarely ever used English to communicate with cab drivers or shop seles reps!. Regular Arabs struggle a bit with English though. Pakistani/ Indian food very easily available n affordable. Again a laid back work culture. Maids and domestic help easily available. \nAs to the cons, you may encounter racism sometimes. Arabs are generally nice ppl but u may sometimes find them condescending in their dealings with you. Probably bc most of Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshi and Nepalis form the labour force (and we all know how worker strata is treated in the Middle East). International schools are again quite expensive (lesser than Malaysia though).

I would like to suggest to you the country of Tunisia located between Algeria and Libya in Northern Africa. It is a beautiful and safe country that while it is an Islamic country it still is a democracy. And moving there from Canada you can live like royalty. Wherever you choose may Allah protect your family always.

It's so sad, because it is such a huge, beautiful country. And you know, in the USA, we grew up watching things, and reading things, etc that weren't even Amercian, but Canadian, and mostly not knowing it. So many beloved things from Canada. We did also feel like they were happier, and more pleasant than we were. But I have many friends up there, from all Provinces, and they all have the same complaints. Thing is, they are the same complaints about the USA also, but just things like crime in the USA is notably worse....I used to live in the UK also, and that was better, but still not brilliant. The west as a whole is falling apart, and there are reasons for that, reasons that are being mostly ignored, so it will only get worse I'm afraid, unless we start demanding that they know longer be countries that cater to only the rich. Where only the rich can thrive.

In my teens, early 20s (early 00's) i dreamed of emigrating to Canada and Toronto. It had beautiful nature, was clean, safe, nice people and a great standard of living. But seeing it now especially the big cities is really sad. Many countries have had major turn arounds (Colombia for instance) and hopefully Canada can get back to being a great place again. Love from the UK .

Most Canadians live in Toronto and Vancouver. But those are some of the least beautiful places in Canada. I think the territories are the best. Nahanni National Park, Dempster Highway, and very few people.

You are truly a beautiful Angel giving great information on life in Canada. It is very tough life in Canada and one should be planned well with support of really helpful relatives or friends or it will be terrible to live there.

Very informative vlog...and I have to say you are adorable! Canada is such a beautiful Country it is sad to see the decline in so many areas...I believe due to the politics....too much government control never makes for a happy life.

One of the sweetest videos I've come across on Canada. No negativity or hate-mongering, just facts as it is in the simplest of ways. I've been living here for almost 3 years now- and I'm used to being alone, but I still find the void maybe its seeing your own people back home. I'd say it's quite a struggle to live here and you start to accept it as a norm. But I love motorcycling and I am overwhelmed by the natural beauty- did some amazing rides in summer, but unfortunately winters are here now. While I have three years on my OWP, I'd use that time to gain more experience, travel across the beautiful landscapes and head back home. I don't see myself settling in here- not my kind of life. I am very adaptive and have come up on my own in life from a very tough childhood- I love Canada for what it is, but then it's just not for me.

I am a Canadian citizen who moved to Bangkok, Thailand, 26 years ago as I had a professional job there. At that time, I was attracted by the Thai culture, the weather and the quality of life. I have been married to my beautiful Thai wife (S.E. Asian ladies are stunning?) for 23 years and we have two grown up children (one is studying in Canada!). I feel that I have more personal freedom in my daily life here, under a military government, than I would in Canada. There is also fast fibre optic internet, reasonably priced phone plans, the low cost of living (I bought an apartment after the 1997 financial crisis), affordable and world class private hospitals. I have learned the language and this is the perfect country for me to retire in. I could not clearly see the future years ago, but I asked myself, where do we think the future is? With creditor nations or with debtor nations? I am so glad that I made the decision to leave Canada in 1997!

I just got my PR last July and landed Vancouver in November. I would say Canada is beautiful and peaceful in general, but when it comes to support a family here, it would be totally a nightmare for newcomers.

Canada has become another beautiful insane asylum similar to Oregon and Washington State due to the VOTERS ELECTING Crazy people! Just stop.
