This must be civilian life in modern times. I lived in the USA in the 1990s as a military family member and it was never lonely. We were like one big family literally and had music and BBQs together in the yard. \nI enjoyed listening to your analysation. My god yes, this exactly what I'm seeing as a born and raised Canadian. I just work hard, have most of my money taken and limits to me to just working 40+ hours a week so I can go home and watch some youtube. Everything you're saying doesn't just apply to immigrants. Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. I can't believe we're taking in Asylum seekers from the US are you kidding me? This Country is a mess it's lowest but our Government just keeps sticking us with paying for anyone wanting into Canada. We shouldn't have any homeless vets & why does Canada think we can afford more people? Our small house we worked for & had 2 children in won't be able to keep it because the cost of living & taxes keep going up. Hours being cut & not enough money to put away. Building supplies doubled after the pandemic. I can't find the medical help I need. God help us as our Government isn't going too. Vancouver drug area in the middle of the Tourist area is the richest district because so many are making money with this terrible situation! Police does not even bother anymore because theses criminals on drug are protected. Maybe one night in jail and then go back to hurting the taxpayers who pays for this madness. Even the 5 star hotels near the area experienced brake ins and robbers. All of this is well supported and grows like cancer. Many young are in danger to take something while having a party because it’s easy and legal to get wasted and loose your brain, then to sit on the street or get sent back home in a black bag! and put the needle in your arm while we got work to pay for this.
