First of all, the United States is a country of misfortune for me, I'm sorry if it sounds abrupt, but how I see it!\n\nHonestly I think that for the reputation of the country and their people, it will never change if the question of weapons is not settled! Whenever the question is asked it is always the reason for patriotism or the constitutional right to bear arms!\n\nThere is absolutely nothing normal and natural about going to Walmart and walking out with a rifle or a semi-automatic weapon without more regulations or investigation of the person who wants to buy the weapon in question. Never in the life does it exist in Quebec or even in any similar place in Canada! We would say at times that the United States and Canada are two different planets and not territories on the same continent.\n\nAnd also it's funny that the country is called ''United States'' while people are divided like never before with racism and political opinions whether your more (Republican) or (Democrat). Believe me, I'm not happy to make this comment because I would like to love you more! And of course I don't put everyone in the same boat I know you're not all like that! But shit wake up!!! The population in Canada is also much better educated on average than Americans, and are better people to interact with. Most of us are always happy, smiling, and enjoying life to it's fullest. We don't sit around complaining to each other all the time about how crappy their crummy existence is. Here, life is truly wonderful in every way I know!

As a Canadian here are my views on the problems here:\n1.Government waste/spending\n2. Insane taxes, we literally pay taxes on our tax here. When you add it all up the lower tax brackets after their 15% gst pay about 45% of their income in taxes alone. Provinces like Nova Scotia are disgusting when it comes to the tax they pay. \n3. Easy immigration, we should consider immigrants based on what they can do for Canada, we don't need hundreds of thousands who can't work or refuse to work. It's a strain on the system. The immigration also artificially increases housing costs.\n4.Government corruption, it's part of why the taxes are so high. It's also part of the recent hyperinflation Canada has suffered. Just look up Trudeaus WE charity Scandall or SNC Lavalin Scandal, some even say Trudeau was getting kickbacks from the vaccine which I have yet to see evidence of but I personally believe it. \n5. Politically illiterate voters and propaganda, here in Canada the government likes to keep it's people uninformed and how they do it is through propaganda. The Liberals have every major news source in Canada in their pocket and in order for you to get news that isn't influenced by them you have to specifically search for them by name, those include Rebel News, TFI Global, and True North. Almost everything else is incredibly biased, they selectively report the news and in many cases outright lie. This causes extreme political illiteracy in it's population.\n6. Housing rules, here in Canada there are some really stupid bylaws like the main floor of your primary dwelling must be 900sqft in some areas, plus building codes prevent cheap construction of homes. You could have a tiny home on piers and it wouldn't cost much but because of our laws and codes it's impossible. You need a proper foundation, footings, building permits, ad in order to get a permit you need to submit blueprints, etc. You can't just buy a prefab building set it on piers and live in it. That'd be too easy, that'd make housing affordable and the government wouldn't like that. \n7. Woke indoctrination centers, The public education system here is all about putting in regular kids and pumping out future Liberal voters. It's a mess.\n8. You can't defend yourself, In Canada you aren't allowed to carry a weapon for self defense. If a criminal breaks into your home you are supposed to do everything you can to escape rather than defend your property. Criminals have more protection under the law than the law abiding citizens. \n9. Low wages, because of immigration wages are low compared to the USA for most jobs in most locations\n10. Thigs cost more in Canada than the USA after taking into consideration currency conversion rates, even things manufactured in Canada\n11. The cold. Nobody likes the cold for the 4-6 months of the year that the higher populated areas of the country have it. The more densely populated areas also tend to be the warmest. \n12. Fascist leaders. It's no secret Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are fascists\n13. Governmental links to the WEF, you'll own nothing and you'll be happy or so their add said. The truth is Canadians can afford less and less under Liberal leadership which is no surprise since Justin Trudeau and Chrystia are supporters of the WEF.

This is an invasion of the United States. America has no obligation to take in people who live under governments that don't work. Those countries are HAPPY to get rid of poor, uneducated people who might demand their government treat them with humanity: let Americans deal with them. America has provided LEGAL means of entry. There are 196 countries on earth and as someone who has studied Art History and Anthropology I plan on visiting all of them. Why? The problem can be summed up easily: Can the liberal party spend money on it? They will. Will it cause debt? Yes. Will they fix it? No. Will the conservatives be forced to fix it? Yes. Will people hate the conservatives for taxing them to fix the debt? Yes. Will liberals get voted back in when people are tired of being broke despite being broke under Liberals? Yes. Can the liberal party spend money on it? They will. repeat until you're happy with Justin.

Of course most people that make money go to the US to make even more money, but it’s only the top percent of our society. For lower social classes, they are happy to live in Canada because of all the advantages they have compared to the US.

Housing speculation is one of the greatest misallocations of capital ever in Canada. People are being rewarded as their home prices increase while literally contributing nothing to the economy. What product was made? What innovation or increase in quality of life was there? Landlords and employers are exploiting immigrants for rent and cheap labor. The government is happy to go along with record immigration as long as tax revenue is increasing.

I think it depends on what you really want from a country. If you exclude costs of living, Canada today looks like a nice place for retirement where people just want to live life quietly and do simple happy things in life. This makes it not as focus on development in my opinion. The cost of everything is going up because if I was a rich person, I would go to Canada too to live life. Not as stressful and the nature there is just amazing. BC weather is really nice.

Canada is a super expensive country, I've been here for 30 years and still renting houses, unable to save for a downpayment to buy my own house, paying rent forever with my husband and not being able to afford to have kids either. This country is depressing, you go to college and then work and have nothing. Canada is not a happy country, people are broke, paying too many taxes and not getting the proper services, there is a shortage of family doctors in Canada. Also paying too much for rent and gas. The socialist government makes things harder year by year, they don't develop the economy to keep up with the times, the liberal government has a lot to do with the crappy economy here. They create policies to make everything extremely hard for Canadians to succeed. If you are thinking of coming to Canada, think twice, it's a trap, it will take you years to be able to afford anything, you will struggle most of your life.

I’m happy I watched this because I have been wondering about this depression wave that is in this country if I was the only one feeling it. All these points are valid. Don’t get me wrong canada is a beautiful place and give you access to learning and living with many different cultures which one of the things I love. But all these points these ladies stated just prove that I wasn’t just overthinking. Sometimes this place feels like an open prison tbh, specially Quebec which is the highest taxed province. It’s literally a life of work, pay your bills, feed yourself and work again. 2weeks vacation in a year of work, with 8 off days a month, isn’t enough for the brain and well being of someone. One find themselves doing everything under pressure because of the trauma that many jobs have created. People will walk under a storm, rain, thunder, you name it! just so they can earn that 130 a day.(using the minimum wage,). The gouvernement does it best to put all these programs in place, but no one want to always feel like your life is being controlled because you need a 1000$ check every month. People get tired of this dependency as well. The whole is thing is just depressing ?

Being an Indian this neighborhood looks like some creepy lanes to me without a single life I will die of loneliness if I ever have to live in such countries. May such high class lifestyle is not for me I m very happy in India where you can see people everywhere ?

It makes me happy to see all the comments of legal immigrants to the US who are angered by this. Personally I have no issues with legal immigration from any country and I respect it and I'll break bread with you cuz your an American now like me. I think legal immigrants are a breath of fresh air and we can have some support coming from the Hispanic community against illegal immigration. Sm people think if your hard on illegal immigration your racist against Hispanics but that's not it at all. We need more legal immigrants with this mindset to help diversify the republican party and help to stop democrats from labeling it as a racist party. Now adays so many people aren't republican solely because they aren't white and think the democratic party is more favorable to anyone of color. But the republican party favors Americans period regardless of race. Illegal immigration is bad even if America was in a totally different place and bordered a white nation we still wouldn't want em in here just as much. If Canada had a curropt authoritan government and they were all illegally immigrating here than it'd be them we'd be having these disputes with. This is not a racial thing, this is about breaking the law and hurting the US economy.
