Though many can't even speak the queen's English properly like flotus-elect but their status is legal. Some of them will get the boot even with their legal status. This woman is twisted. She'd rather support a man who doesn't give a damn about her and send her family to the wolves, back to a country where they may have no place to live, and no opportunities. I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. And Kamala was the one who enforced the CARB emmisions standards that diesel engine manufactures have to comply with to sell into California which is the biggest consumer of these engines. \n\nLike right now I have my pickup truck that's been down for 6 months because of emissions problems and so many of the vehicles have emissions problems that the parts to fix it don't even have an ETA because they need to fix so many trucks and I have two other tractors broke down that I can't use all my friends that are farmers have a lot more and dems want to significantly increase emmisions standards in 2026. \n\nYou simply can't grow food at scale without reliable diesel engines There is no alternative The vast majority of food is planted and harvested mechanically in the US The bigger issue with food is not well illegals get deported It is will the diesel engines run to harvest 90% of the calories in plant them. \n\nWe have robots that can milk the cows most of the things that migrants harvest can be harvested mechanically and they are in other parts of the world It's just cheaper to do it with labor once that's not the case it will be mechanized. I would prefer to keep migrants here but give them legal working status if they have productive jobs and they pay tax.

I am a Documented Legal Alien and married to an American citizen. I choose at this time to not apply for my citizenship as i dont want to have to apply to my own country of birth to enter again should i need to visit relatives there. However i have lived happily now for 20 years in the USA and have never looked back. We did our immigration LEGALLY and as much as i dislike D Trump. I do agree that undocumented Aliens who live here and married to an American' should not be here. We have the same issue in the United Kingdom and its far harder to deal with there, and there is an Ocean surrounding it. If you want to live here, learn the language, (English, even though America has no definitive chosen language) become a legal Immigrant and most of all contribute to America, its people etc and stop using it for your own selfish gains.

my family and I, as Venezuelan immigrants who came LEGALLY in 2007, do not condone this behavior. this is unacceptable. I understand that the regime in Venezuela is inhumane and has been like this for many years and I have family that has been affected by it, but if the US lets this type of behavior slide, the problems of Venezuela will likely become US issues. Many people, including my family, left Venezuela because of gangs such as Tren de Aragua, but this border legislation is letting many of those same gang members in. I hope the next president is able to get the border under control and help the individuals who genuinely want a better life get a chance to enter legally. You are either in the U.S. legally or illegally and if illegally then you need to leave or be removed. There are of course legally authorized exceptions, like for work so Democrats need to stop with the nobody to work in the fields BS. It's anybody's guess as to why Democrats insist on breaking immigration laws by harboring illegal immigrants and by not cooperating with ICE, but at least now they know part of the reason why Trump won the election and why Republicans will control the House and the Senate. Maybe we could do this. For every illegal immigrant the Democrats let in, send a Democrat back to their country. This way it will all even out.

But remember that the American economy relies heavily on foreign labour so the process of dealing with illegal immigrants needs to include dramatically increasing the number of immigration officials to get the productive, employed illegals some kind of legal status. In Texas, many of these people have their 1st immigration court hearings in 2027 & 2028!! It usually takes at least 2 years to get to “trial,” then if you lose, you have 2 appeals and each appeal can take 2-3 years.\n\nEven the criminal aliens they pick up will be entitled to have their day in immigration court. This is nothing new. Bush and Obama deported millions of criminal aliens!! Criminal aliens have always been deported. This has never stopped, regardless of who’s the president. Look up ICE detention facilities. You have 2 big ones in California, Otay Mesa & Calexico; in Arizona it’s Florence & Eloy; in Texas it’s Harlingen. They’ve been operating before & during the Biden administration.\n\nAnd wait till businesses & employers start complaining. ?. The truth is American people already made their division so democrats need to listen to them instead of lecturing them. Our society needs immigrant but our society resource is limited, we can’t accommodate every illegal immigrate without hurting our own communities, especially when so many American citizens are struggling for affordable house and increasing living cost and so many legal immigrants are waiting in the queue many years waiting the government to process their case.

Why not start a process to make illegal immigrants legal since they are an important part of the workforce?

It won't stop with the illegals. A mass round up and deportation is just phase 1 of Trumps plan. He will go after legal immigrants in phase 2. What maga morons dont understand is that illegals make up a pretty big part of the labor force in America. Mass deportation and the 60% tariff of anything from China (which is 90% of all goods sold in America) and 20% on everything ( food, oil, etc) will crash the economy and send us into a recession. You can't put high tariffs, which the end consumer (us) will end up paying and make things cheaper. It's like all common sense went out the window.

Canada is a massive country with only 40 million people, there is enough space here for immigrants that will come here legally and search for a better life. Do not forget that Canada is a free country and that all of us here are immigrants, the land belonged to native Indians.

Illegals are not welcome, and one of the basic requirements of a country is to protect it borders. My wife and my son-in-law are immigrants..... legal. They have earned educations and professions, the contribute to the tax base and society, and they appreciate what they have earned. Immigration is a cenetrpiece of this country, when done right. If Canada wants the illegals, I'm sure the US will be happy to deliver them. But I believe most Canadians don't, and we are only hearing a few airheaded corner cases, similar to what is being deleted from our national consciousness right now.

Canada just reduced its legal immigration numbers to allow time for infrastructure to catch up , schools , hospitals , housing etc. I doubt Canada wants a pile of people due to USA issues knocking on the door.

I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. I’m white so it doesn’t mater our skin color or religion. Its about love and respect to the laws of our country. What I was talking about before is we here in Canada have been suffering from over taxation, extremely high rental rates, high food costs, greatly reduced medical care (My Mom died recently from lack of proper med care resources). They put her lonely dying body in the hallway where she was robbed of her cell phones, money, food and respect. Due to migrants and illegal immigrants overloading the beds and rooms pouring in from other countries. they drained our existing medical system resources and much more. Drug addicts who overdosed on Fentanyl they take first and push all other patients aside. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice? Yes, you failed us Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. You sold us Canadian citizens out and tossed us aside for your own agendas. You are a disgrace to Canada and we the people want you out of office.
