Don’t use words like racism during protests. That’s not racism. Canadians are much more tolerant as compared to places where many of us come from - places that are pure classists, casteists & extremists! Yes, this exists in 21st century. Finally, there is no deeper philosophy involved - learn to respect & assimilate in a new country. Work hard. Follow the rules. I mean these days I am seeing people failing to follow basic civic sense & social manners. This is creating a problem for the entire community. We clearly don’t want this to happen to the real hardworking and sensible ones!!!!

Temporary is temporary, you go home when your working permit or student visa expired. Simple as that! And by the way this young Indian men talking to reporter is full of himself, talking nonsense, he doesn't answer on the questions at all. One more thing, do you see any other immigrant from a different country depending that way.....? Government allowed for so many people from one country to come, now we see consequences!!!!

They probably live in a constant state of competition for every possible resource imaginable to the point that they literally have not developed the same sense of empathy, logic or morals when considering how their behaviour impacts others. It’s sad how many foreign workers are taking all the restaurant, security, engineering and gas station/convenience store jobs. It’s annoying to be at Wendy’s, BK, McDonalds, A&W or a gas bar/convenience store and see a group of friends/foreign workers working behind the desk, then all of a sudden change their work jacket from (for example) Wendy’s to a Skip the Dish sweater and deliver the food they just made. That tells me the system is failing or people are getting paid cash under the table. It’s time for these big companies and the government to step in and stop this. There is multiple examples in my smaller city in a daily basis so I can just imagine how often this happens in bigger cities. Mean while local Canadian born and raised people and their kids can’t get jobs. Stop subsidizing these foreign workers at the very least or donor to all of us. That would put a stop to at least have of it.

Out of 100% international students, almost 70% are indian students. From 100% temporary foreign workers, almost 70% are indians. Why the fk we only bringing indians, there is no other fking country on planet? 5:48 A few blocks away from that accident was my first home in Canada. I was shocked to see such a thing happening in a residential area. Many Indians may get offended, but Indians as a community play a majority role in the hatred Canadians have towards them. As a born and raised Canadian I do feel embarrassed and frustrated when I see people from my race acting like fucking idiots because I know it’s going to lead to people viewing and potentially treating me worse, perhaps even just subconsciously. As they say we wear our race on our face and since humans are pattern recognition machines, chances are people will just take one glance at me to form their assumptions based on the behaviour of these fucking idiots. \n\nNow I’ve also seen people from other races act like imbeciles in Canada too, that very much includes white people. Ive lost all respect for indian nationals in this country. They are rude, do not care about others and act like they are entitiled to everything when they are just guests.\nMy family and i used to visit a nearby lake on hot summer days. \nIts been a tradition for soo many years. This year we pulled up to the beach and it was over crowded. I have never see that many indian nationals in on space in canada.\nWe left and decided to come back a couple days later. My god. Sorry we haven't got enough housing for Canadians already here. The International students must pay their way and then go back home to start new educated lives. I work in a food bank and see many international students taking food from Canadians. This is not supporting themselves. Thousands either quit school or failed and then demanded citizenship. I'm outraged. There are many issues that must be dealt with asap.

Living in Ontario and visiting BC many times I have notice more and more elderly Indian individuals. I been to hospitals in both province's and I see more then ever elderly Indians requesting health care. I wonder to myself how many years have these elderly Indians pay into the health care system. I don't want anyone without care but those who have worked in this country for 50yrs have paid into the system. So is it right that those who have paid into the system have to wait for care do to ones who haven't paid into the system?

I live in the Swanton sector in Upstate NY, 5 miles south of the Canadian border. Our small town sees dozens of border crossers a day, many just wandering down our Main Street waiting to catch a ride to NYC. Several months ago, I approached a group of a dozen military age males, loitering around the gas station at the main crossroad in town. One male was on a cell phone trying to communicate with someone on the other end who was speaking very good English, meaning no perceivable accent. The cell phone male was unable to communicate with the person on the other end of the call (female voice). As I listened to the other members of the group talking, I heard several words and or phrases that sounded familiar to me (possibly Arabic). I was language trained in the military for Arabic. When I spoke to the men, their eyes lit up with recognition. They were all Muslims from Bangladesh. After several moments of chatting, I was able to discover where they were from, that they flew into Canada, were given a contact # to call after crossing and for them to make their way to NYC. My data is anecdotal but a majority of the migrants we’re are seeing here in Upstate NY are from Central Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Winter is quickly approaching here, and many who risk the Swanton sector route will not make it due to the extreme cold. Many of my friends who live outside of town, many farmers, are deeply concerned or frightened for the safety of their families. Many have had migrants approach their houses and attempt to gain access. Truly scary stuff. And it seems to only be getting worse.

Maybe theres some Canadians who hate Indians, but Canadians as a whole do not hate Indians. \n\nI'm a 3rd generation Canadian. Our mother tongue is almost never used at this point. We speak English, we took on the Canadian way of life and culture. Canada doesnt look the same anymore. I'm told White people are the vast majority here, yet I don't see that many White skinned folks like I used to. In fact, almost every store, fastfood restaurant, facilities, my own work place, White skinned folks are by far the minority in these environments.

Yes, many Indian men have no manners. As an Indian woman, I have experienced this many times in India. \n\n1. Get into a queue at the bank and some men behind you will sneak their papers inside the cashier's window past you.\n2. Open the door of a building and some men will walk out while you are holding the door open. \n3. Try to enter a bus or a train and some men will push past you and take the best seats.\n4. If there are young girls, they will be groped by men in crowded buses, trains and metros.\n5. If travelling in local buses, you will see men urinating publicly at every stop.

I am so thankful I have Greek and Macedonian citizenship. As soon as I'm done with my education, I'm moving back to Greece or Macedonia, somewhere there are hardly any Indians. I literally get lucky to see 4-5 white, black, or latinos a day in my city, the rest are all Indian, Pakistani, and Arabs. I don't feel like I'm living in Canada anymore, I feel like I'm living in the Middle-East. I only have 2 more years of university and then if I don't go to Greece or Macedonia, it'll be because there's too many Middle-Easterners there too, and I will go someplace like Korea or Vietnam, where there are practically no Middle-Eastern people. Sorry, but you're right about them being rude, and they act like they're entitled to everything. It's disgusting and I've had enough. The problem will only get worse even if we shutdown immigration, because there are so many here already, and they don't have kids, they have litters of 5-10 children per family. Soon the whole country will just be Middle-Eastern, just give it a few decades. If you can get out of Canada and go someplace else, I suggest you do now, before it's too late.

well, if they were there for school, not sure how many completed it, or just went to work and whatever... This is ridiculous. The majority of the homeless are homeless because they don't want to work the jobs. As a greenhouse manager, the local people don't want to work the jobs that the foreign workers work which is why we are required to bring them in in the first place. I have had many local workers try working in the greenhouse only to quit within weeks because they couldn't handle the work or even the heat that is required. So how are we supposed to depend on local people to do the work? The would be a worker turnover every 3 - 6 weeks. With this program we can bring in people who WANT to do the work because its a better opportunity for them than what they have back home. This is NOT the way to fix the homeless problem. High rent, high taxes and high economic standards are the cause of eat. People cant AFFORD to buy food, pay for living costs and even survive in todays society. This foreign worker programs ALLOWS us to get the work done. \n\nForeign workers brought in on the SAWP program or even low skill program aren't stealing job, they are doing the work that Canadians don't WANT to do as they can't handle it or even believe it's beneath them. Todays youth will never do the work that these people do for us. I respect the work that they do. I would love ANYBODY in the comments below to come to my farm in the middle of summer and spend 8 - 10 hours under the sun for a week and then see what their opinion is.

Here, in the small city of Shebrooke, Qc, it looks as if at least a tenth of the population is African. One would almost never see any African (outside of the area around the University) just 10 years ago. And many of them drive cars. I am sure they are getting tons of money, in addition to free healthcare, free welfare and free education, ,of course.

You said it all. Totally agree. I have been here for almost 30yrs. It has changed so much. You said it all. I specifically see newer Indian immigrants rushing to catch trains or buses disrespecting the discipline of respecting lineups, elbowing people, being rude, wrong side bike riding makes it feel especially in Toronto as if we are in Delhi Gurugram traffic. No rules folliwed. No respect for personal space. Loud music in neighborhoods. Ofcourse immigrants from other nations too, the super rich have bought so many assets and houses in Canada, that they just own, keep them not used, creating nonavailability of living spaces for regular Canadians.

I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

I have been living in Calgary for 31 years now I never seeing so many Indian from India like now, it's too much, why the government brings people from only India, why they don't bring from other nationally like Mexico and Brazil or other European and Middle Eastern countries. See you are a respectful and good citizen who we would have no problem welcoming to Canada. It's the others who are ignorant and who do not respect our countries culture. If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. We do not do that here. Either way something has to change the government needs to fix this problem they created. Also why did they allow so many Indians what about Immigrants from other countries? It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. No disrespect I am just saying from someone who was born in Canada and whose parents grandparents and great grandparents and beyond were all born in Canada how we feel the way our country is being disrespected. It does not make us happy. But let me stress that I know there are kind respectable people from India who come here and are helping Canada. No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. Also, instead of improving the working environment and coming up with solutions for the local Canadian workforce to cope with covid impacts, we just welcomed all random visitors to come to Canada to work. all these indian new comers in the past 3-4 years have used the loopholes of this policy with the help of unethical Indian immigration agents and employers who are only trying to save money to provide them employment letters so they could get work permits \nNo wonder we have so many low skilled Indians that have brought and created issues in Canada. Have we noticed car accident rates increase? The unethical visits to the food bank? The grants and money from our tax money that the government gives out to these people for their low income status?\n\nI am an immigrant myself and have known many Indians that are high skilled and making great contribution to Canada. \nWe completed our legitimate degrees in Canada, applied for our work permits, got good jobs and paid our taxes, working hard to make contribution to this country. \n\nIt makes me sick to see the government and this stupid policy just unfairly allow these individuals to come to Canada and stay and possibly get their PR.\n\nHow about the hard working high skilled immigrants that fought hard and actually earned our spots to stay in Canada.

I was never racist or taught to see people of other ethnicities or religions as inferior so I don't hate Indians, nor do I show them disrespect unless warranted but the rampant abuse of our systems has messed up so many things. I know of large families of Indians who came as asylum seekers who'd come over separately while claiming different names so when they all come together some families are getting $30k or more per month just for being here. They drive expensive new luxury vehicles and mostly wear expensive designer clothes and are given homes while at the same time us Canadians born and raised here are struggling to even get to eat well every day or have a home to begin with. It's not entirely the fault of Indians, the blame also needs to be shared by our gov't as well since they opened the borders and have mostly waived the process of vetting who comes into our country. It's never a bad thing to have people who genuinely add to the collective greatness of a country but we have let in too many freeloaders and even criminals, the Indian gangs extorting businesses for millions in BC and Alberta for example. Nothing wrong with Indian immigrants as long as we can balance the needs and safety of everyone involved as well. Right now there is no balance and the results are catastrophic. Canada never used to be host to so much divide and hatred as it is now, we can thank Trudeau and his people for that.

It’s not a hatred as much as is their way to get things. For example jobs. You marry Indian so you see matters from a different perspective, their prospective. I remember one significant situation in one of a dealership place where I bought a car. There was only one Indian representative there working. Two years later I saw only Indian men working there. The way how they pushed other people away from jobs and hired their own kind, that enjoys me so much. And one more thing if we allows that many students from only one country, you think is fair for others young people not to be able to come here and study. And last but not least if we allowed Indian students in such numbers to come what do you think Canada will look like in 10 years, I know “another India “

I agree and appreciate your constructive approach to this issue. It would of been easy to play the race card the whole video. I can tell you that it goes both ways here with this issue. It is not right to put good and bad apples in one basket, the bad stands out here more than the good.\nI came from an area of very few Indians and been living in an area of high immigration for many years, so I came from a place of no prejudices. Unfortunately, much of what Canadians complain about are true as I experienced it first hand. I won't list this because others have. I absolutely agree that you are ambassadors when outside the home country, as I think the same in my travels. Overall I believe it is a blatant disregard for Canadian culture and laws, and lack of assimilation with Canadians, especially white, that has caused this to be the big part of this divide. I see, hear it, experienced it. I admit it leaves a bitter taste.\nImmigration only works when both parties can blend together and respect one another. Not separate yourselves, segregating others based on predjudices, and sticking to what you are familiar with back home. You came for a better life, but live the same as the past. It is like a marriage where one has to always take into account your partner's point of view, making compromises along the way for both partners, not exploiting the other's weakness, or disrespecting their views.\nThe government caused this issue to come more to the forefront in recent years by ramping up immigration numbers and putting pressure on the system. Canadians have now had enough. We have lost our culture, and feel like the minority in a country where we paid into the social systems all our lives, only to get little benefits, just more taxes, and see those systems being abused. There is no easy answer here.

I live in Toronto, and we see issues first hand. 1. Many don't assimulate, nor do they mingle with Canadians. 2. They have so many of the entry level jobs and hire only indian people. 3. Canadians 18- 25 can't get the entey level jobs. 4. Many in school don't work hard with group work as this wasn't the real goal. 5. Many in entey level jobs english skills are limited.\n\nCanadian born of Indian back grounds see it too! No hate. Not working.

Hey Igor, I feel your view is understandable but the issue I see is mostly in Ontario. There are many examples of people who seem to be from a particular community creating issues there, I have heard of persons who don't seem to understand how to communicate and making things difficult for other groups of people, coming to canada to work and slacking in their studies which is why they are in canada and also where people who are PR unable to get a job because only international students are getting hired. but I agree the government need to put better regulations in place to prevent people from being taken advantage of and hire people based on qualification and make the work place more diverse where possible with fair wages that are liveable as well as understand that they sold canada as the place to be for anyone to gain citizenship from the education stream

When you try to change a country's culture, you find resistance. If you want India here, go back there. Don't turn Canada into the shithole India is. Stereotyping is always based in truth. I have three new immigrant families as neighbors and all are polite, quiet people who just want to exists peacefully. Unfortunately, many new arrivals do no fit that mould. Crapping on a beach or in a parking lot is not tolerated here and there is video evidence of the latter on YouTube.

Reading some comments… and then some say that AMERICANS are racist, Americans are bigots, Americans are intolerant!!!!!!! At least the Americans have the guts to confront their past and admit their wrongdoings… unlike some!!! And yes before pointing out to migrants who are doing the jobs that none of our sons and daughters want to do (cleaning streets, working 60 hours, doing bad jobs, etc), may be it is time for us to look at the government who should have anticipated this coming of migrants by building more houses and putting in place more services!!!! why in France we are able to do it although we have many many migrants too!!!!!\nFor some of you here… go to France to study and see how good you are doing!!! Most of you might end failing classes and leave Europe without achieving anything… not even speaking French!!!!!

Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. If you are well educated, this country is the best to live in. Canada has already made their immigration policies stern, and are not welcoming everyone now. Do you think Indian politicians are doing good to keep India safe according to their duties? Don’t you think India has a drug problem too? Apply for a visa and come here, you’ll see many people settled, enjoying their life here. People have to face struggles when you move to a new country, it takes time. Canada in one of the most diverse country, go to a school here, they celebrate and acknowledge different cultures and teach about them. I think Indian are well settled and living luxurious life here.

Those so called brown people don’t contribute to Canadian society many of them are very bad people they are huge scammers like to make easy money they don’t work hard they have no respect for others most have that third world mentality and they are living and blending in with us I don’t understand nothing of them they make lots of children this way they can guarantee there stance in Canada \n \n(do let me say not 100 % of them are bad \n Honestly we don’t need them they are a burden to out living here in Canada they need to go back \nyou can see what Trudeau has accomplished he actually changed the face of your Country Canada \nTake a good look at the schools everywhere From every corner of Canada it’s now a different Country we. Are now a province of India \nwake up Canada look what the government has done to Canada don’t stand still or say nothing we have been invaded and getting worse

I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

As a Canadian born in Canada I feel the border needs to be shut down. We have worked hard to set our standard of living, this is now in danger of collapsing because the government has allowed so many immigrants into Canada putting a strain on our healthcare,housing and other programs. These people are getting to use our resources without having paid into them for years like we Canadians have. Our way of life and standard of living are at risk of collapsing, we see it happening in our healthcare, affordable housing and the drain on funds for the poor. When we see them protesting about being forced to leave and how they refuse to try and take on our culture, where whole towns are being taken over by their arrogant attitude to take over these cities. We want our country back
