I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.

I find it so disturbing that I’m gonna say this if JD Vance little man JD Vance, the guy who called himself he was in the battlefield, but he wasn’t in no battle. He was just in the battlefield cleaning boots and you know making sure his gun work and you know cleaning his helmet, but he never went outside. He never went outside and what kills me. Canada and Mexico are cutting down the flow of fentanyl into our country since Trump initiated tariffs. Trudeau is talking tough because he came off as weak the last time Trump scolded him. Trudeau is scheduled to meet with Trump in a few days. Why is that? Canada will meet Trump's demands on fentanyl and tariffs; and America will profit in the short and long term. Stop believing the fake news who does nothing but create fake chaos no matter what Trump does. These tariffs do not affect our country in any way over the short term. The only reason that the markets are tumbling is because the fake news wants to create panic when there is none. Same thing with Zelensky. Mexico and Canada's exports are 70-80% to the USA while we only export 13-14% to them. This means most of their economy relies on the USA and only a small of ours rely on theirs.
