I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.

Mexico can even improve their own country and stop crime. They are takers. Didn't stand up in WW1,WW2,AND WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR WW3. STAY OUT OF AMERICA

last time Trump was in the office and as a way to thank Jesus, Trump did make it so 1M died by defunding healthcare and say covid was just a myth and later sade it was just a mild flu. Then loved America so great he started tradewars with everyone and crashed the economy. But who cares if one can just hand over the problem on the next president and blame the inflation on Biden that had not even moved in to the white house yet. I live in the US but I really want to visit Canada! Some people do wear their shoes in the house in America as I’ve seen it but I can’t stand putting shoes up on furniture, especially my bed! To me, that’s disgusting. I’m glad most Canadians don’t do that!

Fleeing the country isn't the answer. There are a lot of things you don't know about central America, and Panama ain't no paradise. Also these are countries riddled with dictatorships and coups. Take a look at Guatemala and currently El Salvador. May be fine for foreigners, but soon you'll find yourself jailed in your own house. As a 1rst gen immigrant, I choose to fight because if no one fights, we lose automatically. Better die standing on your own 2 feet than live as a coward.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

We pay, only to find ourselves living paycheck to paycheck while foreigners receive free food, housing, and a luxurious monthly stipend of 1400 dollars - a sum that could be life-changing for many of these families. \n \nIt's disconcerting to note that those who contribute so considerably to the nation's finances are left with little by way of compensation. The government's provision of free education, though commendable, stands in stark contrast to the generous allowances granted to foreigners. Why should our citizens' hard-earned money be spent on others first, only to have their own basic needs ignored? \n \nConsider a mother and father working multiple jobs just to provide for their children - and yet they don't even come close to receiving that 1400 dollars in financial support. Meanwhile, those who haven't contributed nearly as much are given such ample handouts. Is this the system we want in America?

As a child from Northen Europe ?? I remember when my grandmother told me about our distant relatives living in Canada ( due to war) and how powerful, rich and fair country this is and that everyone has good life there. Now, 25-30yrs later everything has changed. Big part of Europe and Northern-America aren’t the same anymore due to mass immigration. Even my own country with only 1,3 million population ( Estonian 69.1%, Russian 23.7%, Ukrainians etc). We have taken in quite a lot ukrainian war refugees, who atleast share the same values as we do. But I still see a lot of people in the street wearing burkas and our demographic is changing. People need to stand up for theirselves and protect their countries heritage and culture or otherwise there won’t be anything left for our children. My parents/ elders fought for their right to become free country and Estonia took back it’s independence in 1991.

Just remember wherever you guys pick make sure that they speak the same dialect that you do otherwise you're going to have that learning curve of learning their dialects. It is different in a lot of places like learning to speak like the yemeni do is different than the Pakistani. So just keep that in mind. My grandfather is from Yemen and his wife who is my grandmother and my dad's side is from sudan. And they used to tell me it took them a while to understand each other. My Syrian grandmother on my mom's side would teach me words and phrases and my grandpa who was from Yemen would always make fun of me because I wasn't saying stuff right. I'm not really good at speaking Arabic but I can get by so just remember when you guys are picking somewhere to pick a place that won't be that hard to understand people. I'm only saying that because with the kids you guys send the kids to school they may learn a different dialect than what you taught at home and it will be a learning curve for them to try to understand. But I'm sure you guys will make the right decision. I just figured I would throw that in there I'm sure you already know that the dialects are a lot different and Arabic is a lot different in different parts of the world. People think Arabic is all the same and it's really different. Just like people who speak Spanish in South America speak different dialects on the Puerto Ricans just like people in Brazil don't speak Spanish they speak portuguese. Just a thing to think about.
