Thank you! This is how a leader should speak and act!!! I am on your side Canada. I am so disgusted with our so called “leader” and government. I, along with many others, did not vote for this despicable idiot called Donald Trump.

I am extremely saddened and embarrassed by our president's actions. Seeing what Donald Trump has done in the past and is doing now, I pray for him and other world leaders every day. Their political choices matter. I did not vote for Trump, his first nor second term. He did so much harm during his last presidency that fueled so much division. And yes, Vladimir Putin is absolutely playing him, and he can not see that. I'll keep on praying, and leave it in God's hands. I stand with Canada, Ukraine, and Mexico.

I did not vote for Trump but I am a shame that Trump is president. Trump purposely destroying Biden’s “Build Back Better” he aligned with Putin. Trump staff Is part of Project 2025. These are the people who wanted a tax break, on the backs of the American people. Prime Minister Trudeau is not our enemy and I accept what he is forced for the Canadian people. I voted blue and moved from a red state over to a blue state because I don't agree with conservative republican views. I especially didn't want Trump back in office because I thought he was horrible the first time. My heart sunk after the election because I saw this coming. I'm hoping for some sort of impeachment because dealing with Trump for 4 more years seems unfathomable.

This has nothing to do with Canada or the Canadian people. This is a pure transactional move because that is how Trump sees things. He needs the money to finance his agenda and he has been told that the money does not exist in terms of what the US Congress can provide. They won't cut military spending and they wouldn't dare touch SS or Medicare. Therefore, Trump is resorting to the only available option which is to have the American people pay for it all and that is what he is doing with these tariffs. He doesn't need to worry about reelection so he couldn't care less how much pain he is inflicting on the very people who voted for him. Elections have consequences.

I think the world of good and democratic people should join together against this tyrannical autocratic and completely lying government of the USA find other trade and manufacturing partners- mineral rights of Ukraine to Canada and Europe….
