Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! If they're in agreement with this insanity & rebellion then cut this state off from all federal funding and let New Yorkers pay for these illegals all by themselves. I don't want my tax dollars paying for any illegals. Especially when there are so many Americans living on the streets and/or not even getting by with this failed & fraudulent economy the Democrat Party has given us. Wouldn't the fact that the city council, allocated that money AFTER the ice raids took place. I sincerely don't understand why people have an issue with people who came here illegally getting deported. It's not at all racially motivated or discrimination. Whether they are serious criminals or just entered illegally - it is not right for them to be here, or be provided services paid for by tax paying Americans. As an educated American citizen, If I want to move to UK or European countries I have to jump through many hoops, prove I have my own money to support myself, and possibly meet a language requirement. Why is it that we just accommodate anyone who wants entry to USA? It baffles me. I have friends all upset about deportations and it's ridiculous. I can't understand why we bother to have any laws if we don't enforce them? I have 2 family members who immigrated here LEGALLY. I did my tour in the early 80’s and I can promise you the subordinates in today’s Navy only followed this Officer her/it/he because of fear of being reprimanded. I have no issue or problem with the roundup & deportation of illegals who are criminals but treating all illegals in this manner is inhumane & unconscionable. Many illegals have lived & worked in the US for years paying taxes, are unable to file tax returns and unlikely to collect social security if & when they reach that age.
