I would assume the increased legal consequences would skew the new illegal border crossings from migrants looking for work so they can raise their kids in a country with more economic oppurtunities to a higher percentage of criminals mixed in. I lived in Montana for five years moving from Ontario Canada. I returned after five years because your legal system is a joke. Healthcare is so expensive living in Canada’s way. Better get free healthcare which to me is the number one top thing.Canada has free health care everyone in need can get welfare low income housing the disabled have disabled people a paycheque each month that covers their bills and food costs. The commentary here sounds so much like U.S. citizens griping, it's almost funny, but also sad. The whole world knows the truth about non-assimilating Indian behavior. Either this reporter doesn't know it or she is in perpetual denial. At my son's school during the drop-off rush in the morning, Indian parents would always, I mean literally always, as in everyday, they would stop in the middle of the street so that the wife can help their child get off their car, all while blocking traffic. In doing so, their child will not be late, but making all the other cars' children behind them late. I witness this first hand, everyday. It's like they had an exclusive Indian meeting, all agreeing to do this during the drop-off rush. It's so annoying. If we honk at them for doing this, they would cause a scene and would call us rude and racist. When all they have to do is simply follow traffic rules and regulations so that all parents can smoothly drop off their kids on time.

You did a service by presenting that report. However you really missed the mark on this report about Brampton... in many many ways. You need to do more research, you can't 'lead' your interviewee's, and you have to provide information, facts. There were all kinds of directions you could have gone with the comment provided by the people you spoke to, there were all kinds of facts that you could have brought to the table. There IS perhaps a story there, but you didn't find one worth telling. It looks like you're really dedicated to this pursuit of reporting, and it it looks like you're a one man team... this work is hard to do, you should consider getting some help 'putting dots together' and creating your presentations.

Well nothing like that, I live in Canada and can verify that. Problem is quality of immigrants, especially student is trash in Canada, Australia and Europe. They come to shady universities for studies, work full time both legally and illegally rather than studying and at end of their education, they have a fake degree with zero value. Just like most of the new graduates in India who have a degree with no practical value. \nIf you have a good degree, right skills in tech and some experience, there are tons of opportunities in Canada. I cuss Canada everyday but that's because I lived 10 years of life - studies and work in USA. So whether I move to Canada or any other country in the world, I would do the same as US has no equal in the world. I lived in US for 10 years, then India for 3 years and came to Canada 3 years back. I would still move to India after getting Canadian citizenship, but not because Canada has something bad or India has something exceptional to offer, but because I want to live with my parents in India. Thats the reason I left US but came to Canada to get a backup.

Every student who comes to USA for M.S. graduate studenfrom India pay only 1semister fee to colleges but they apply for 2 year tuition in Indian banks \n\nWhat is happening is colleges collect 1 semester fee and after 1st semester.\n\n students work part time at restaurants, gas stations, Motels grocery stoes. Mostly at non chain stores. \n\nLegally they are suppose to work on campus but they work off campus and earn and then pay for college. And some send to India they their friends illegally.\n\nThey travel up to 50 miles around to work. \n\nThese students work for cash and work for $7 to $8 per hour or even less.\n\nStore proprietors / owners tell these students if anyone comes for raid they will tell that they are working on voluntary basis and taking salary. So like this millions of students work illegally.\n\nAfter student comes out of college during OPT and stem OPTA they continue to work and approach consulting companies to generate payroll / trainee for no r a son just to give them status. \n\nDuring OPT these employers collect money to pay taxes and generate payroll and keep them to put them to work and maintain their status.\n\nThis does not stop here.\nH1-B workers who come from India on lottery 80% do not have clent jobs but they use back door and show that they have jobs and continue to pay taxes to show on paper that they are still working with a hope that they get jobs in future. I used to go there when i was like 17 or something at the time all you needed was a Birth certificate and a drivers license now its a passport.
