150 days, over 300 applications, I got extra licensing and background checks available, not even a call in 5 months. Our country is actually getting shafted by a 1.4b country sending people to a 33m pop country. We will be India in 20 years.

I'm a Canadian, I was born here, who knows what generation Canadian I am - my ancestors were here long before Canada was a country, later they fought for the British (one naughty son fought for the "rebels" americans and was in jail for 5 years), the monarchy granted them 100 acres in the Niagara region which was farmed by a line of my family until the 1980s when the last of that direct line sold which is tragic. blah blah - Canadian. ANYWAY - I love other people, other cultures, every immigrant that spoke in this video I welcome with open arms, would befriend, share a meal with etc. I grew up working with many people from Pakistan and India who were escaping really scary situations, worked their butts off to be part of this country, learn the language, save for a home - live a safe and happy life. Whether you're a first or 50th generation Canadian - you come here and you adapt to our wonderful way - you're a freaking Canadian. That's not happening right now. Like the video said, it's a math problem. One of my largest concerns is that now all these wonderful Canadians who have been here for a long ass time, worked their butts off to be part of the family will now be subject to violence, harassment and racist comments because this population bomb has misrepresented their intentions entirely.

Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. They get their Holliday's off and our Holliday's off..why? We don't get their off. Yeah I'm just a plain white person who lived in Canada all my life. 64 years. I've never seen this in my days. I have only one question.. why is the government allowing them into the country ? What is the reason and who is it benefiting??? As I commented before , my parents came to Canada in 1966 I was just a baby , Canada had endless jobs in manufacturing, and especially in the construction sector , I will say that immigrants back then , Italians , and Portuguese really built this country , the men and women worked sometimes two jobs , no hand out from the government , no sick days , Canada was beautiful growing up , .. that’s how I remember it , other immigrants followed , from Poland , and then the Indians started to come in by the 80”s .. fast forward to now , I’m embarrassed of our country , it’s disgraceful and disgusting, the transition from back then to now , I feel like I’m living in India , dirty , scammers , gangs , thief’s , murders , ignorant , entitlement; disrespectful etc .. facts , one thing that I can’t wrap my head around is the language barrier , why are these people working in customer service ? Why are they dealing with the public ??? Why are they in the health care industry, nurses , doctors etc , when they can’t speak the language???? Why are they accepted in these highly skilled positions? Just because you have the skill ? Isn’t knowing the language and being able to communicate a requirement regardless what job you have ? Why is the government allowing them in this country and then paying for them to have all these resources available to them ? Why ?? We need to start helping the people that have contributed to this country , that paid taxes and their dues FIRST … we do not have enough affordable housing , jobs , hospitals ,etc .Canada has falling , they are a financial strain on this country , it needs to STOP.. this isn’t the 60”s anymore Canada is to the max , no opportunity here anymore , send them back !

I am a newly arriving immigrant Indian. Been a year now and I have a good job and I am really loving what Canada has to offer. I agree with the frustration - I find myself cringing at the videos of people violating public norms of decency, and the job market is really bad now for services as companies are employing a lot of migrants for a cheaper price. Immigration control, regulation of companies so they cant go below a %age of Canadian citizen/residents along with effective government stimuli to boost the economy by targetting certain industries will tackle a lot of the problems. As for people discarding garbage anywhere and other unwanted behavior - name and shame. These videos are also going public at least in India as a source of great shame and the more eyes on it, the less people will repeat things of this nature.

The actions of few spoiled Indians affect the entire Decent Indian community and India. Canada is in need of labour force due to less population and India has more population but insuffient jobs to engage people. If this scenario is reversed Indians would be complaining like canadians do. So the problem is not one way, just becos reducing immigrants does not solve the issue. people have to see things past nationality or physical identity into the statistics. even though canada has professionals of their own there are people who work with dedication and who work without interest, or recent generation being attracted to digital life instead of understanding that college degrees in mainstream subjects are what earns them job and also they have to show dedication and hardwork along with smart work, comply by the work place rules and so on... this goes to all invariable of who they are. all these started changing and now people instead of trying to correct these small changes that lead to these large issues of cost of living and low wages, have now started to pit against live people and their race, nationality or culture. There are good and bad people eveyrwhere, people cant justify the actions of drug addicts roaming the streets and that has increased a lot now, people acting violently against others just becos they dont have what the other has, and so on. but instead of addressing the high amount of actions that are happening around our own country, it has become easy to put blame on each other. I am not justfying the actions of these bad indians who has done these stuff. but we have to see the other side of it before making this a International Issue. Yes, few Indians are bad but not the entire community. Canada has its own needs that needs a lot of hands and support. So, only if we change our perspective beyond the emotional BS we exhibit, we can address the real issue with real solutions. I don’t blame the immigrants, I blame our liberal government because they are the ones who are supposed to control the amount of people coming into the country. If I travel to another country that I want to live in or work in, I need to follow their rules, laws and respect their culture, not trash their country, and change their culture and country to my country. You can also see the trend among Punjabis—many aspire to drive trucks and cars in Canada. In India, people often see Punjabis as if their only purpose in life is to go to Canada. I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset. 5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals. 6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. As an immigrant myself, living in Canada for 25 years now, I hate how we keep getting newcomers who do not want to assimilate into Canadian culture. Why try to force and push the very culture you chose to leave? Why try to transform Canada into the same culture you walked away from? As a beloved-canada, i give 2 advice. The first, canada needs not only limit immigration but also set/establish quota for each regions/countries where have a huge number immigants apply to canada (for example: india 30.000 immigrant/year, china 20.000 immigrants/year,....). The second, canada must empower for each territories/provinces to decide how much foreign people can study/work/live in there
