I don't think most people understand just how long and environmentally challenging the Canada-US boarder really is. In this video we're talking about only a very small section of the border along New York State and New England, but going west the boarder goes on for literally thousands of miles.\n\nBecause of the great distances and vast amount of wild land up north vs the population size on both sides of the border, it makes it almost impossible to actively patrol the entire length of the Canada-US border.\n\nThis is not just a problem on the US side of the border. Irregular crossings are also happening into Canada.\n\nThe best thing the two countries can do is to actively work together on this issue.

What is so crazy if you have VPN and a couple of minor technologies you can watch social media from around the world, using easy technology you can hear and see what people are saying, thinking and doing all over the world. This is a Canada specific video but this same video, almost exactly that same issues are playing out all over the world! Pick a country and people want to leave.. to get to the greener grass on the other side.. that other place, other country or culture where things are better, more like they used to be, the entire planet is in a state of flux!! Our country has been destroyed by the past 8 years of the liberal government and the mass immigration. I too am leaving because it makes me so sick to see whats happening. I love it how the video conveniently omits the reason why the housing supply is so inadequately low in Canada - real-estate developers and rental agencies lobbying all levels of government to keep zoning laws draconian and to make new construction increadibly difficult. For example, an enormous proportion of Toronto's urban area is still zoned exclusively for single-family housing. The landlords, who are currently extracting record profits from regular people with no sign of decline, are more than happy to shift the blame towards immigrants, and it saddens me to see that respectable media outlets like the Guardian are becoming a part of it.

Regrettably, it is near impossible for a Canadian to create a video which explores the ugliness of dealing with migrants. From the Canadian perspective, its hard to watch migrants come to Canada and make it so violent and dangerous.

In your video there is not accountability, which makes me think you are responsible by voting for the policies that make your life uncomfortable. People that don't take ownership of what they do... condemn their new place by voting for the same things - _ -

Cities like munich and Berlin are extremely expensive.\nBut small place like Magdeburg or Kassel are quite cheap,. but not very interested at all

I like how well balanced and reasoned your video was. Canada certainly isn't the same country it was barely 10 years ago - many, many, many people are saying this. Like yourself, I too am planning on leaving, and like you, am awaiting processing of paperwork by a foreign bureaucracy. All the best to you. Take Me. I have also lived and loved Canada for many years but feel like there could be a much better quality of life to be lived elsewhere. I have visited 22 countries hunting for the right one but will travel to South East Asia (Philippines, Thailand) for the first time this winter before making any real decisions. I was watching your video and it hurts me with how things are nowadays with everything skyrocketing in prices and the job market is not doing well, at least over here in Florida. I live in Miami and it's an expensive city to live in but the economy is not doing well here but overall I do love the city of Miami as I was born and raised here for the majority of my life. If you ever decide to move to the USA to the state of Florida, Central Florida is affordable and the cost of living is better than South Florida and the environment is more mellow. I know a couple from Vancouver who moved to Cancun Mexico they live in an apartment building next to a five star resort, their cost of living is like 80% less than it was in Vancouver and they have better weather too. They both work as video game streamers. They didn't make enough money to live in Canada off of streaming only but now they can do it in Mexico and save some money too

My fellow non-Germans….Don’t make the mistake of coming to Germany right now. The country will sooner or later have a crisis due to its politics and their companies falling behind in competitiveness due to incompetence and arrogance. Instead of blaming themselves, they will blame immigrants, including you. Also, if you are a qualified foreigner, you will have to come to terms with being a second class resident, watching how natives enjoy their life and expect you to do their work. Only “luxury jobs” with a strong union like IG Metall will ensure you a fair treatment. It's multifaceted. Liberals opened up the flood gates with policies making it very easy for people to immigrate to Canada and increased immigration numbers. It's no longer tied to what Canada can support based on services, resources, and housing. It's simply: Come on in. Second, I've watched a few videos on Youtube showing how immigration is almost a form of trafficking at this point. Immigration companies are making money hand over fist promising the moon to students and people who want a better life and when these poor people get here they end up in crowded lodging with horrible job prospects. A lot of this goes back to the government laxing immigration policies and not being firm on how much we can bring in. This tsunami of immigration has impacted health services, governmental services, and the lives of Canadians. We need to do this smart or not at all. It's frustrating and the frustration needs to be put where it's due, on government and policy but it's also impacting the people and community around us. :( It really isn't the Canada of 10 years ago.

I am a permanent resident of Canada and born in the US. I live right outside of Montreal. I actually went to Plattsburgh, NY three times in past two months and each time while on my way back from Plattsburgh, I would encounter several migrants at the bus stop shown on the video. In one of my encounters I saw a group of them wearing ankle monitors. I would see vans standing at the gas station picking up and dropping off migrants. These drivers are helping the problem just to make money. I just heard on the news that greyhound changed the bus stop in Plattsburgh a couple of weeks ago and I wonder if it's because of the illegal migrants. I have been going to Plattsburgh by bus for many years and I've never seen migrants inundate the area as I have in the past year. I knew about Mexicans flying over to Canada so they can walk across the boarder into the US but I didn't know it was this bad. I don't see this problem going away unless Canada works with the US to solve it. It's getting scary out there because there are criminals who has committed serious crimes in their home country and come here on a clean slate to continue their criminal activity. When does this torture end?

Many Canadians are afraid of speaking of truth due to being labelled as a racist or bigot, when really the facts are right there with mass immigration and the influence of foreign landlords. We’re likely getting a new Prime Minister in Fall 2025, but fixing the disaster caused by Trudeau’s policies will be painful and take a really long time.
