This is all part of Trump’s plan to create panic, confusion and frustration to the American people to make us weak so he can sell us to PUTIN. The tariff to Canada, Mexico and China; his immigration racist decisions to target Latinos; the way he and Vance attacked to president Zaleski and firing federal employes is just ALL Part of a plan to create confusion, so while we scratch our head, he allied with PUTIN.

Canada should block all US imports, not just put tariffs on US goods. No one in Canada will buy US goods anyway.

Agrees with him on everything except for fentanyl. \nAs a disabled person with a chronic illness I am 100% reliant on fentanyl which is more efficient than morphine with less side effects and I may as well kill myself now if they 'remove it from the face of the earth '. \nIt's not always used illegally but those of us who need it to survive and get by day to day are victimised every time a drug addiction uses this

I know I will get attacked in the comments for this, but I grew up in the US watched many presidents come and go, and I have never seen the country that I live in turn so corrupt and evil in my life we have been lied to by our president. A man I did not vote for and it almost feels like it is turning into a fascist regime. I see this as nothing less than Trump wanting to do to Canada a slightly more palatable version of what Putin is doing to Ukraine. Trump has openly said he wants Canada to become the 51st state, even though this is a huge ask as Canada has a population larger than any US state (California is close in population size), Canada has a land mass nearly the size of the US and, including water mass, Canada has a larger overall area than the US. Trump also wants Iceland to be owned by America. He has become power crazy during a war because this is his only chance to stoke his ego to undreamable levels. Trump wants to be America's Putin.

Fertilizer is an easy one, Our farmers just need to go back to using natural animal/yuman waste which is ecactly what used to be done. It even saves farmers billions $ because they create a use for waste they now pay to have to process for removal. Lumber and products are also an easy fix. We Americans have millions of acres of timber that actually NEEDS regular harvest to reduce the forest fires that plague us yearly. The list goes on, and not a single item cannot be MADE IN AMERICA that we currently get from Canada.

Remind me again why Trudeau was forced to resign? Even NY Times investigative journalists recently explained how NAFTA worked against US interests and killed so much of our industry decades ago; almost the opposite of what was intended. Trade needs to be reformed across the board. It's also insulting the way other world leaders are now speaking directly to the American Public and lying to them as if they have our best interest in mind. World leaders are elected to defend the interests of their own people, many times they just look out for their own personal interest, but they are definitely not looking out for American interest. It is up to us. The world stage is a complicated transaction of this for that. That's life. Have you all forgot playing United Nations in high school?
