Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! This is a psychology of death and failure!!! The Democrat politicians and voters didn't vote for President Trump's agenda but the vast majority of We the People most certainly did. I think it’s unfortunate that this guy was using bad language, but in other ways, what he is saying is spot on. There is far more persecution of Christians and Messianic Jews than there is of Islamists. It used to be known that at certain times during the day, various border crossing points weren’t manned just open. I can almost guarantee that’s not happening anymore. Years ago I was coming home from Montreal and waited for someone to come out and check my paperwork and license, someone heading north shouted over that no one was there until 6 so just go. I shouted back that I thought someone had to check my car and paperwork. The other guy said if you’re not worried about your stuff being checked, just go. I seriously waited weeks to hear something about it, nope, crickets…

Canada border patrol overseers need to do a better job in securing that part of the border on that side. They can stop those buses and check those planes for them coming into the US. As a Canadian, I care more about who is getting into Canada than who is getting into the US. I want to know from my government how are these people getting into Canada in the first place?? Please don't lump the rest of the state in with those in NYC who keep voting for this insanity. The CITY voted for Cuomo and then Hochul, the rest of the state did not, but the rest of the state is so rural that the population of the city outvote the entirety of the rest of the state. That's why they pushed so hard for their sanctuary policies and providing IDs to illegal immigrants and allowing them to vote. This guarantees they keep getting reelected and increases over all state population which is used to determine how many congressional seats a state has and how many electoral votes, so more people would mean more political power.

I used to think Pres. Trump was being too hard on Canada then I got a look at the tariffs they impose on our goods. Some as high as 250%. I think Trump just wants a level playing field and a lot of help from Canada on the border. I think Poilievre feels the need to talk tough in response but I think he really wants the same things as Trump. There use to be a border patrol show for the Canadian border. I always hated that show because how difficult it was to even enter the country to visit. Very very strick and the agents did their jobs well. What happened to those standards. The illegals wouldn’t be crossing the border if Canada kept those strick standards. I learned why the agents were so strick.

Publish the names of those persons fighting to keep illegal immigrants in this Sanctuary city. Investigate how much money they receive and the source. Please stay away from Canada I moved here and I regret it every day. I'm a citizen through my parents and getting my certificate took YEARS which stopped me from being able to go to school or work which means years of my adult life wasted that could have been put to much better use for something that wasn't even my fault. I also lost good opportunities too because of it!!!! Not happy especially since I genuinely needed the money. I won't forgive Canada for that. Also everything here is really expensive and the selection is just not very good. Also work opportunities are not as good as in the US. Anyways I finally got my certificate and got my life started up again just over 2 years ago, but I still often think of returning to the US after just being here for 4.5 years. I now warn some of my US friends not to go to Canada just for the hype if they mention it. I also know of a friend who moved here and left after 1 year, they came to hate it here.

There are some cool things about America but nothing worth moving there for especially from Canada. I think the only people that would think America is so great are people who are running from some terrible country (probably couldn't get into Canada). I use to enjoy visiting America every now and then but in this climate there's not a chance you'll catch me even visiting.
