No! These are supposed to be intelligent people. You do your homework before considering going to another country, especially as a student. My parents couldn't raise that kind of money to pay for me to study in another country, or even in my own country. Life isn't fair, but Canadians need priority to be housed in Canada. India has very good schools at affordable prices for Indians, and also very high prices for international students. I looked into studying in India and I couldn't afford it as an International student. India should re evaluate its priorities, before spending billions on space programs. India should also decide who it wants to be friends with. I am sure there are lots of good schools in Russia, who right now it prefers over the West.

It blows me away every time they exploit how “entitled” they’re! Alls I hear them say is me, us & I & feel they deserve to stay in Canada… They were really brainwashed on how it will come so easy to start a life here… The military needs to break up their encampments & I rather use our tax money to send them home, rather then use our tax money to fund them! I took a course recently & 95% were Indians new to Canada. Canadians are being pushed out of our own country !

The visa process needs to be more strict. Being granted an International Student Visa should levy a higher threshold for long-term stay requirements after school. Also, the total years need to become a Citizen should be moved to 8 years, not 5. We need to uphold the integrity of what it means to be a Canadian, not allow and Tom Dick and Harry a Visa or PR just because they spend money here (Canada).

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

So we need to think about who is a Canadian? Unless you belong to the Indigenous group you are either an immigrant or a descendant of an immigrant. I have lived in Brampton for almost 20 years and have witnessed the change. Yes, people need to adapt and understand the so called Canadian culture. But also think about whether you will have an issue with a white Portuguese or Italian immigrant ,the same way. These Indian students are spending money and driving the economy. They are loosing their precious years doing trivial jobs which the so called white people will not do. Indian students are committing suicides at an alarming rate in canada. Government policies are to blame not these students

What is really sad is they are taking these jobs away from Canadian born children who need these jobs to go to universityor government didn’t think through this. Wow the entitlement is mind-boggling. If that is the attitude that people have coming here on a temporary Visa. 33 years ago I had a temporary work reason to work in the UK I worked six days a week paid rent paid bills and we built a business that hired other people and put money back into the economy. I can’t imagine being out in the streets protesting it to the UK government that I haven’t been pretty to the privileges of people that were born and bred in the country and were there before me in Ontario we definitely do not have housing available. The cost of housing for a room is $1000 a month outside of the city, basement apartment is 2000 and Condo, one bedroom and den is about 3000. I’m not sure what jobs students are expecting when employment is not at all-time high and the healthcare system is already strained and failing people that need vital surgeries. Seniors are waiting three months for an MRI and students that were born here are having trouble finding employment because entry jobs are given to immigrants we are approaching UK and Ireland crisis levels, it’s not about racism. We don’t have the infrastructure.

Real international students brings resources to Canada. Government needs to look into students that actually come not for study but to work (making money back home). Besides, why entrepreneurs and start up programs that will benefits our society gets so hard to proceed (taking over years to complete)? Why nanny home support worker can come to Canada as permanent resident so fast and easy? The people of Canada need to be aware of these strange policies that were made. They make no efforts to look into how their policies will affect the lives of the people, the system of Canada including medical systems, our infrastructure or housing. They do not care if our society can have enough to support these low skilled workers and families, and also the new refugees and families. Can our economy support all these new families? Nowadays the economy of the world is so challenging, but would these policies makers care about this? They are not stupid then there must be some reasons behind. How can the normal citizens protect their rights? BUT wait…, all these new families are growing, these new comers will protect their rights too….

Real international student brings money and high quality people to Canada. However,there are some students coming to Canada aiming to work and to gain income back home. Why entrepreneurs and start up programs that can bring money to Canada takes years (over 3 years) to process and the number of applications is shrinking. Canada needs money to sustains the economy. Importing thousands and thousands of servants but not enough money to pay? Why don’t they look into the infrastructure and the system of the country when planning their immigration policies? The money behind these policies must be big.

Indian's are making $4-5m every year in Canada and each of them are sending $5000 to india every month. Ieagle or illegally they are sending the money. They are getting more than 40 hours in work when they are allowed to work 20 house as a student. They don't need any Canadian experience to get the job.

If you have the money to come through our international school program, you are not in need of asylum. Go home

They are applying for asylum due to protection from Canada because they ran out of money or permit and need social services welfare money to survive here in the shelters for free food and the welfare pocket money.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. I love the fact that you spoke some harsh truths here sir, much respect to you and your family sir. I hope you can continue making such informative videos for people to learn from. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. All of our troubles in Canada is due to very excessive immigration. Every single aspect of housing, education and healthcare could not absorb this unsustainable population growth. And llok at it, immigrants are not willing to give any money to income tax but they want the service sithout paying for it. That’s not the way it works. I’m a GenX and I bought my house for cheap in the 80’s. Now taht it’s paid off my cost of living is the price of housing taxes so about 300$ a month for a recent suburban house valued at 850k$. It is almost impossible for immigrants to buy a house like that. That’s why we not only need less immigrants but we have to make existing immigrants to leave Canada. We are not the dream country they hoped for mainly because of them. Leave.

Hello Sir, with due respect: i am an international student from INDIA, you are always welcome to stay in any of the 30 provinces in India! My question to you is, if an International student is spending 7000 cad each semester and completing a 2 yr program with total fee paid 28000 to 35000 CAD excluding the exorbitant rent like 1500 per month and grocery and personal tax, would definitely wish to get back some of the money they invested here in Canadian land, am i right? Would you be thinking the same way if you invest in India? Secondly, none of the employers are offering any white collar job or office job to these students unless otherwise they have Permanent Residency status here in Canada: the only way to get “PR” is to work for some pizza store or tim hortons- its not by choice, only jobs you have here in Canada for any students and now construction field too. So kindly don’t judge any international student from any part of the world on their skills. All we need is a way out by Planning our future. Lots of comments are on these kids: just imagine on a sports day or a national holiday or on a stormy day who will be serving you a double double? Who will do Uber… Please dont hate, just like any human we would love to be respected and we are not going to take back anything from Canada. Thank you

I'll tell you about prices in Canada. (please fact check me fellow Canadians, I wrote this in a rage. Also, most of this is from Ontario cause I live there) The monopolies here are insane. Highways that were built using tax payer money were sold to companies and now Canadians need to pay to us it. Most grocery stores are owned by a few major companies and I see butter prices rising every few months. A 1L carton of cream at my local store is $8! I won't talk too much about housing cause it's obviously sh**. I will say a couple of years ago the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford (my greatest enemy), was releasing the protection of the green belt, a protect part of Ontario used for agriculture. He said he would use it to build new homes, great right? NOPE. First of all, the green belt is used for food to reduce prices for Canadians cause its local. He has stated he would move it to another location but that land there is less fertile. The worst thing is, the reason he is saying he would use the green belt to build houses is because the land there is very valuable. And guess who owns that land? His BUDDIES! That means he would sell that land to developers and his buddies would get all the profit cause the money developers use to buy the land will directly be put on the buyer. Not to mention, Doug Ford, the same person, since his instatement as premier, has cut the Ontario education budget by 50%. 50%!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Can't even afford air conditioning in schools where the weather is so extreme. Rogers? The largest internet provider in Canada? Absolutely cr*p. So many complaints about bad connection and cutoffs which I also experienced when my mom bought one of their products and my internet was sh** for a couple of months. The ONLY, and I mean only, good major thing Trudeau has done is legalize marijuana. Another thing I forgot to mention is that our government is made up of criminals. Doug Ford, he and his family use to partake in drug dealing. Another major complaint is the ttc which is public transportation costing so damn much! As a student, it costs me over $1000 a year to get to school using the ttc. The times aren't even that great either as even on a major road, I had to wait 25 minutes to get a bus. Thats my rant.

Because government started a system of enriching their friends starting in the 70's when they chose to stop funding affordable housing which resulted in a reduction in tradesman. Now we need someone to build those houses but there's no one to do it. And if i had a choice between building little affordable houses for low money or building big expensive houses for big money i would build the big houses.

I just walked out of a job. I have bills to pay like everyone else. The Indians did so much bs that almost got me fired, and certainly stressed me out. As a South Africa working in Germany on a skilled worker visa, it was not the easiest to get the visa even with a job offer and working remotely for the company for more than two years. \n\nI agree with the three points to improve.\n\nBut Germany is expensive, even if you get a cheap apartment and live on bread and one eat meat twice a week, it’s expensive, you keep on paying taxes or fines for things you don’t even know and or use.\n\nThe dream of living in a safe EU country is also becoming something of the past with increased violent crimes and the far right movement. \n\nMy plan was to save more money and buy a property in Germany, but on arrival I had to use my savings to pay for the massive deposit on an apartment and an over priced apartment at that. But housing is limited so you must take what you can get. \n\nThe “free” healthcare is pathetic in comparison to what I paid for private healthcare in South Africa, and I pay more for the healthcare in Germany than I did back home and you have less benefits.\n\nThe only reason I am here is as my home country doesn’t have employment for someone like me, and that makes me somewhat sad. Canadian Universities have no right to demand anything! CEOs and other execs need to drop down their salaries by a lot. We should have a cap on that. Don't base Canadian's right to education on immigrants, we know that model doesn't work. That has destroyed affordability and all for your relentless greed. We need more Canadians at college, less tuition fees, more federal money into the system and less internacional students. Your model is unsustainable and it was about time for that cash cow madness to come to an end. By the way, we also need to crack down on those fake colleges and outlet diploma mills. Post secondary education is a mess and it should be cleaned up real good.

This is appalling. This is not the international studentship I know. When I was in university at York, interns students were very wealthy and from rich families and could easily afford tuition.\nThe Indians going and lying to their people and recruiting them in mass to come to Canada should face justice.\nCanada doesn’t need Indians from Indian villages flooding the streets to make money.
