These government officials need to stop pretending that ALL international students are victims here. Let me be clear, yes some are, BUT, A LOT of them commit fraud to come here and other different countries. I used to think all international students were rich when I moved here, as tuition for them can be 3 to 4 times more expensive. Then I started realising how wrong I was, with so many that can't afford food, housing stc. Then I heard about the loan scam, where potential students would borrow money from essential loan sharks to prove they have the minimum amount to qualify for a student visa, get accepted then give the money back, paying back a fee of course. If this is a widely known thing, the government DEFINITELY knows about it too

look students pays for thier tuition without government support, then they will work double time to make it happen, then after they are educated enough then canada can benefit with educated individuals, those who cannot make it will be deported or end up thier student visa, its a win win for canada, but for now i heard that the labor market in canada is flooded with students, from restaurants to hotels; manufacturing, love the young educated cheap workers. canada will not stop this because they need the population to grow and they benefit this a lot. This comparable to H1B visa in USA but the difference is those visa holder is paid accordingly when they are hired in the USA. So the US end up getting the best people to come to thier country because only the cream of the crop or the best are the only ones that can get H1B visa. not talented enough or having police record no H1B is a fact

Basically, the euphemism Canadian experience is a polite way to shield in my humble opinion, a form of chauvinism and bigotry to cut out immigrants from connecting into the labor market and protecting the labor market for what employers consider real Canadians\n\nThe way the whole immigration system is work. You have to work from the bottom up that includes investing in education in Canada and getting credentialed In Canada\n\nFrom my observation, they may need professionals, and they may release the skids with your professional degree and professional experience, overseas, and more importantly, with your youth, so that you can work and contribute to the economy, and then finding an employer to sponsor you at a very low wage\nLower than you can survive on require you to have to get a second job\n\nFrom what I hear from the infrastructure and the business opportunities are limited in Canada\n\nEstablish those raised and educated their often for times, find themselves having to choose to mow to the United States for about 5 to 10 years in order to earn a living and then they go back to Canada\n\nThis is not unlike Canadians, especially in the prairies, wanting to travel east, and having to drop down to drive-through the United States, and then re-enter Canada, because the highways aren’t available or to take a flight from one American city to the next near the border because the cost of flights are a lot less\n\nDoes not have the infrastructure or the business opportunities to support a growing economy yet they need to accommodate immigrants because their own population is not reproducing effectively\n\nLooks like a rock and a hard place

I supervise a lot of immigrants, the majority are problematic and less productive than the local population. This is all about universities making bank and corporations paying people less, nothing more. A country doesn't need immigrants, it needs a financially stable and safe environment to raise children that will become the productive workforce and innovators.

Canada needs immigration and a lot of it to support the tax base and pay for retiring boomers pensions. Those international students pay a lot to study here and Universities depend on that funding as government funds dry up.

There are solutions but too much red tape… use tiny homes. There’s a lot of green-space on many campuses. Just think smaller, students only need a warm place and a bed. No need to build condo buildings that won’t be finished until five years from now

We need to reform the system.Don't worry ,people leaving Canada there will be a lot of housing.

Universities need ask student visas from the government. A university should only get a visa based on the percentage of native students. So UofT that has a lot of Canadian students will get approved for more Student visas than a no name college with very little Canadian students.

I'm only halfway through but feel I need to comment and well I'm not exactly a new Canadian. But I was born the but grew up in New Zealand. And well why not . I moved over there in 2014 with full rights as a citizen. My trade wasn't recognised. Canada has its own rules about everything. You need to have training to pour drinks in a bar wtf.! But yea I came wanting a better life and well thankfully I wound up in Calgary so eventually I had the money to leave. And come home where know having seen the Canadian shit show I'm killing it here. It saddens me and yes I was that asshole that got trudeau on there cos I seen one rousing speech where he invoked his dad Pierre. And I fell for it. And not to lie I look old Canadian so I fit right in English is my first language and all that. And funnily enough it was the first time in my life where I could say fucking immigrants. It's a brutal place a brutal work climate and well there's a lot that's nice but when it's bad it's dog ear dog. I feel really sad about what's happening, all the mass illegal immigration and yet your a criminal for noticing it. A lot is very wrong, don't get me wrong nz is doing all the same shit too. I went to Canada for prosperity and to change my life lesson I learnt was go home ans do better and that's fucked.

The sad truth for your reputation, is that there are more people STAYING than leaving, otherwise, our population would only increase by the number of births, minus the number of deaths every year. It is NOT. It is increasing by a LOT more. And those are EASY to find stats.\n IF you took your time to get out of your pity party and realized that you are WRONG about that fact, you might ALSO understand that choosing WHERE you live n this country is a pretty important choice. Unless you are REALLY rich, Toronto or Vancouver would be a miserable experience for anyone. I can appreciate what you are saying. I live in Los Angeles and we have many of the same issues and worse in many cases. You mentioned a lot of things that are problems and you are right. What you did not mention was who is responsible for the policies being enacted. My guess is that like Los Angeles, it’s run by progressive liberals who are passing laws that don’t put your citizens first. That’s what has happened in Los Angeles. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to move to a major metropolitan area, check to see who the mayor is and who’s on the city council. Canada is already run by leftists so I assume the apple is not falling far from the tree when it comes to your city leadership. In the US, people continue to reelect these incompetents. People in Canada need to realize, it’s okay to vote for conservative policies.

As a canadian i never thoughg of living anywhere else vanxouver is so beautiful. Growing up govrnmebt started cutting programs and services in schools ans public resources. And kept doing it. \n\nNow they are removinf beautiful homes to build ugly apartments no yards .\n\nThere is not enough public space. Everyone is moving to the city. We use to be able to go to the beach on a weekday in spring and there was no one. Now its packes. To get to the bathroom was almost a block long. The bathrooms are small. Goos for population we has in the early 90s. We need somethings 4x larger now. \n\nIm ok with new comers but if they create a new community in the rural areas. We have so many areas up north no one moves to.\n\nOr lots of space to build new communities up north, not deatroy the current communities that already exist. \n\nWith all the new apartments there is not enough space for cara, no parking and no room on public transportation.\n\nSimply, the city cannot support anymore people. Its unrealistic. \nI worked with a girk who shares a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people and she still paid 1500 a month for rent.\n\nThis will soon be like america - run down, extreme poverty & homelessness. The homelessness has gotten so extreme.\n\nWages havw increased maybe 3x since i was a kid, but pricea rose eveey year.\n\nAs a kid we paid $850 for 3 bedrooms. When i mo ed to my first apartment i paid $800 for 3 bdrms. My friend pays $3000 now for a 2 bedroom aptt.\n\nThere are more crimes more thefts now. My old houae was 600,000 that same house is now 1.5 mil. \n\nI make 2x what i made 3 yeara ago ans things are even more expensive than, i have less now vs when i was making less. Maybe it is true wherever you live: the grass always seems greener somewhere else. Well, probably not greener than in the UK or Ireland where it rains a lot and it isn't possible to imagine grass any greener, but you know what I mean. \nIf you want to live in a place where housing is cheap, go to a country where the population is not mushrooming but shrinking. There are towns in Italy where the authorities are selling empty houses (which might need repair or upgrading if left unoccupied for a long time) for ONE EURO and there are places in rural Portugal where property is cheap. And of course there is Eastern Europe. And in Africa.

With about 50 Muslim majority states in the world, countries that are so very very welcoming to all their Muslim brethern in need, sounds like you have a lot of choice in your move. Bonus, they are mostly in warm climates.\nDon't forget to take that nifty baseball hat with you to protect you from the light.

Some times i watch videos on differents experiences others migrants experiencing here Canada and we re on same boat. That s why i also made choice to move out in Colombia on the beach for my retirement.Then im here giving some advise. As immigrant myself, African from Gabon, we experiencing same realities of the West since 10 years now. At some point, i can say there s something broken in this country since last 6-8 years. As you making decision to leave Canada on the reasons you expressed, it is very important for you not be wrong chosing the wrong place again. You need to think about it seriously. Straight, can tell you 100% United states is worse than Canada as Muslim family to live in. You need to read all suggestions given in this Video. As a lot people suggested you in the comments, i totally agree with em that Malaysia, is the Top one based of the reasons you explained why you leaving Canada. Maybe Turkey and UAE as second choice. You need to go to a Muslim country. Canada is supposedly a Christian country but Christians are coming under a lot of restrictions with practicing their faith. Christians are also bashed for many of the same beliefs as you.

Absolutely, I agree with the Transgender issues and I agree with the needles on the ground and homelessness. Our Gov has slacked off in a lot of ways. I was thinking the same thing to run back to my parents country in the South Pacific. One thing I have to say “Religion”was created to segregate mankind we are all a highly evolved Human race. It’s an illusion, to not being able to find the truth in one’s self. We all can practice our faith or connection to God. We can openly pray anywhere. A simple thought of God and bowing down your head joining your hands thanking being grateful is all you need. Remember we were taught all these things from others with highly motivated personal agendas. WE WERE NOT BORN WITH A RELIGION WE WERE BORN AS A HUMAN FIRST. That is the language of God not all these segments of religion.!!!!

We came to Canada in seventies, and it takes at least 5 to 8 years to settle here. These days, people are doing well in India. There is no need to move here. Canada has also changed a lot. I know people who came to Canada returned to india after 5 months. Not once twice. They came back and are well settled. I will say if people are doing good in India and have a big circle of family and friends in India. Then they won't be happy here. Finding a good job takes years in some case. It's your luck too if you find a decent job then you will be ok. The worst thing here is long winter. You get tired of cold and snow. Now the cost of living is very high, renting or buying a house is very expensive. In the end, most people make it.

We need to remove a lot of red tape for business and let’s get things going. Stop the hand outs.

Move out of Toronto and you'll love Canada! I immigrated last year and like everyone else I went straight to Toronto to find a job. I did find a well paying job but even after that, the city was not affordable. I liked the part that it's easy to find new people and settle in the city because everyone's very open minded and welcoming but the rent al market is absurd! Public transport need a major upgrade! The only thing apart from social life that I liked was toronto's biking culture and community. But taking ttc, specially the subway is scary! Road rage is becoming a norm, no respect for pedestrians or cyclists. The city is broken.\n\nI am now living in London, Ontario, and I feel a lot safer. Fortunately, the renting is still not as bad here but you need to own a car (well, that's just North America) and then you can life a comfortable life.

We live in Houston, Texas, where the culture is more conservative. Parents are not told how to raise their children, cost of living is still relatively good, and being Muslim (wife wears hijab) hasn't been as challenging as other places. \n\nPlenty of Muslims from all over, mosques, Islamic schools, halal food, etc too. \n\nMy parents moved my siblings and I from Los Angeles to Karachi, when I was 12. Not so much for religious reasons, more homesickness. After a miserable 15 yrs, I moved back to the US. \n\nI'm not trying to dissuade you guys. Wanted to share a few key things to help your transition:\n1. Pilot it out. Move to Istanbul for 6 months, then maybe Kuala Lumpur for another 6 months, etc. Test out each location. Inflation is everywhere. Not all Islamic countries are Islamic. But you have to experience it first hand. \n2. Take LOTS of money. A decent life outside the first world means you're loaded. \n3. Build connections where ever you go. The things we take for granted are luxuries elsewhere. Water, electricity, gas. Connections help you get what you need, sometimes for a price. \n4. Schools will be underwhelming. If you can homeschool, cool. \n5. If you start a business, go solo. Don't partner up with others. \n\nIn any case, hope it works out inshaAllah. Who knows, we may be neighbors!

I appreciate the way you present the reality. One way to cope with salaries and taxes is to open you own enterprise. This is the canadian way of growing fron a wealth point of view. As a person leaving from a salary, it is still possible to grow depending on your skills. But beggining your own business to exploit your skills will make you 'fly' to the next level, which is the actual way of growing. It took me a lot of years to realice this. Just think about it, provinces allow medecins to incorporate what means that they will pay less taxes and become richer sooner. This is just my thought, other people may think in a different way, I just try to give positive ideas.\n\nSecondly, Canada is still a country to live in a bit better than other countries considering many things happening around the world. Crime and economics is worst everywhere also. But, it all depends on what criteria counts for you. About society, it's not easy to make real friends except other inmigrants that need it too. The only point about its a non muslims country… well duh? You guys should’ve know this before moving in? Are we going to dubai complaining its not a Christian country!? What attack on muslims? Doomers be dooming. Canada is still one of the best countries to live anywhere. While income disparity continues to grow and there are several domestic issues that need addressing, and the political and social climate isn't great, you still have lots of work and skills training opportunities, robust, if decaying social support structures, pretty low crime rates, decent education. You're not being incarcerated or killed for no good reason, you're not being oppressed by the government, your children don't have to work in sweatshops and parents don't have to sell their children into prostitution. You children aren't being gangpressed into being child soldiers, you aren't being shot at when you vote... social media is being weaponized by manipulative cloutchasers and foreign actors.

I am indonesian, but i’ve lived in Japan and the US for study purpose, and i relate to your experience. Eventhough i had a strong moslem community when i was in Japan/US, and halal food was accessible there, i was still feeling uncomfortable that as a moslem i couldn’t express my identity freely. Whenever i wanted to go for a roadtrip or place outside of my city, i need to search if halal food was available in there or not, while in Indonesia i don’t have to worry about halal food, almost all food are halal, the restaurant usually inform us if their are not halal. Another experience is that in non-moslem country, they didn’t provide many prayer rooms or mosques, that’s also sickening for me. I mean i don’t mind to pray in a random parking lot, or in a park, or in an emergency stairs, or in changing room in mall, or any random places; but i really missed my country where prayer room is available anywhere, you can find prayer room in gas station, in a restaurant, in the mall, in airport/bus station/train station, etc. Also mosques are everywhere too. You are easily going to find mosque after walking around 200m, well yeah there is a reason why Indonesia is a country with the most number of mosques in the world. Another thing is islamic class. When i was in Japan, i could only join an islamic class where people gather to listen from syeikh (or we call it as “pengajian”) once in every other months, in the US was better, mosque in mu place held islamic class every other day. However, in Indonesia, islamic classes are everywhere, it’s like every mosque held their own class, until to the point that i am confused what should i follow because there are so many options ?. The last is that, in moslem country or at least in my country, finding moslems outfit is very easy. So yeah, overall, i prefer to live in moslem countries. Alhamdulillah i was born in moslem country, and alhamdulillah my country’s situasion, eventho not perfect, is peacefull.

I live in NYC, and have been to Canada at least four times, but the last time I was there was quite some time ago. I always had a good thought about Canada, because it seems like some of the problems we have in this city, Canada also has in some way. Right now the city is a complete mess; at post pandemic and with a bit of a recession and a noticeable increase in groceries to basic things like cat food and tissues. That's not the biggest problem, it really is the legislation or lack of for people who not care for themselves. Those homeless people are almost not helpable and I don't feel threatened by them, but other people definitely do. The way the government has handled these undocumented migrants is a complete disaster and couldn't have come at a worse time. We have a serious housing crisis as well, and people can end up paying for high rent, for not the best places, but they want to live in a certain location. The migrants are coming in at about 60k in the last two weeks. You see mothers with little kids or babies selling candy all over the trains and it's becoming too much. Many see it as a form of child abuse or exploitation and we do not respect it at all. I think they feel we are weak and will just pay double for something we don't need. At one station today I must have be approached 3 times and interrupted 2 times while using my phone. It's just too much and we already have a lot of immigrants here, so I'm not sure where these people believe they will find any meaningful employment and the cold is coming. I wasn't born here, but came legally as an infant. I think the border situation is a disaster and it's obvious to a lot of people that the government lets things happen that will definitely effect citizens in the next couple of decades. The city is crowded enough and I do not know where this is all going, people do not want undocumented migrants house a few hundred feet from a childrens school. I just don't understand how they let this happen....I guess this is how Biden does things and all the groups that cheered buses pulling in when it first started are dwindling down....they just want them passed on to someone elses responsibility, but wouldn't want them as neighborhors necessarily. It's a lot of hypocrisy here. Canada seems better in some places, and the same in others.

Born and raised in Canada. Like all western places, you need tons of money to have a great life. It's true that everything's gotten worse. It's hard to make friends--it's easier in most other places. The people are very resigned, complacent--in other words, fearful and subservient. People in general have a poor undertanding of geopolitics...lots of naivite. There are some genuinely kind people but most are burnout, struggling to get by, living with their parents.

Before moving to Canada, it is good to target the industry. Please consider the nuclear industry. There are jobs there and expect a lot more jobs as Ontario plans to build 4 new Small Modular Reactors that will create thousands of job opportunities. Also, there is refurbishment of existing nuclear generating plants at Bruce Power and Darlington and very soon, Pickering. This will provide plenty of jobs. \n \nOntario relies on nuclear power to provide around 60% of its electricity. You can come into the nuclear industry as an engineer (electrical, mechanical, civil, nuclear) or as a project manager. With all the new nuclear projects, project managers will be in hot demand. \n \nStart now to develop yourself to be well place to get jobs in the Canadian nuclear sector. \n \nThe salary is very good too. \n \nHappy to help if you need more information.

Sorry guys, all of the reasons that you mentioned except maybe the inflation (which I think is temporary and happening around the world), are the reasons that you SHOULD STAY in Canada. If you leave then you are giving up challenges and trying to find an easy way out. Please remember nothing comes easy and if you leave Canada then you are not going to be part of the struggle to change the mindsets of Canadian society that Muslims can be also accepted in Canada as they are, which may not come during your or your children's lifetime but it will come eventually maybe during your grandchildren or great grandchildren's lifetime and you need plant the seed for that now otherwise there will be no fruitful outcome. It needs lots of patience and initial suffering for a group of minority or downtrodden people to be accepted within the mainstream societly. If the Muslim people start leaving Canada just like you guys then there will be fewer Muslims for this struggle to bring changes in Canadian society. I think you are escapign the struggle and suffering and you guys can affford that but you are leaving many of them behind who cannod afford to leave Canada and it will make their lives even worse and the future generation. You need to look at the bigger picture and and the future. Anyway, this is my personal openion, which you or your audiences may not agree.

#3 was the biggest one (imo) that made me think. I can't imagine what it's like to have to live day to day with those worries and fears about yourself AND your children. As a mother of 3 myself, there is already so much to worry about when it comes to our children, without the added fear of visible religion being added to that. I have never once thought about what it would be like, if I was raised in a religion where it was visible to others, how that would have impacted me, nor have I ever passed a thought as a parent. And for that, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you have to live with those worries and fears each day. I'm sorry that people of Muslim religion are bullied and targeted on a daily basis. I'm sorry that a few bad eggs, have marked the beautiful people. I may not be Muslim, but I would gladly step in and stand up for a Muslim (or anyone tbh) who was being victimised because of their religion. I truly hope your children never become victims, and I truly hope that y'all are able to find a place with Sandy beaches, lots of sun, a wonderful Muslim community with plenty of free space to worship how and when you need to freely, and the feeling of safety for you both and your beautiful children.

I have lived in Malaysia (5 yrs), Bahrain (7 yrs), Pakistan (born and raised), and now in Canada (4 yrs). Each have had their own pros and cons. \n\nMalaysia has some of the nicest people in the world. Beautiful country, lots of rain, temperatures usually between 28-30C, all year round. Laid back office culture. Lots of work holidays! In the last one decade Pakistani community has grown steadily esp in Kuala Lumpur. English is widely spiken and understood in major cities.\nAs for the cons, very expensive international schools and daycare centers, that would take a huge chunk out of your income. Pakistani food not that easy or cheap to find, but that may have changed since we left. Relatively high cost of living, if you need to live near city centers.\n\nBahrain sees both winter and summer. Not much of other 2 seasons. A large Pakistani, Indian community, so much so that I rarely ever used English to communicate with cab drivers or shop seles reps!. Regular Arabs struggle a bit with English though. Pakistani/ Indian food very easily available n affordable. Again a laid back work culture. Maids and domestic help easily available. \nAs to the cons, you may encounter racism sometimes. Arabs are generally nice ppl but u may sometimes find them condescending in their dealings with you. Probably bc most of Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshi and Nepalis form the labour force (and we all know how worker strata is treated in the Middle East). International schools are again quite expensive (lesser than Malaysia though).

If you want a citizenship I don't suggest you go to any gulf countries, of course ignore any war countries, Malaysia and Indonesia have nice people and I think you can get a citizenship there, Jordan might be a good choice you might be able to get a citizenship and there are diverse groups of people but the economy and civil status laws aren't exactly that great, now Egypt is definitely a choice but the country is kinda drifting off of Islam in the recent years, terrible economic conditions and I don't think a citizenship is possible really, I'm not much aware of the Arab west countries but they have their pros and cons definitely, lots of people there speak other languages and there's some beautiful culture and a considerable amount of political safety compared to other countries in the region, other than the occupation Palestine would've been a great choice lots of foreigners live here but I'm not sure what requirements you need for that and I'm pretty sure they probably wouldn't let you do so as Muslims, I have very little knowledge but I wanted to share what I can, I hope it helps.

The Palestinian people have been screwed over by corrupt leadership from the PLO and Hamas. Enriching themselves to billionaire status and taxing every citizen on goods purchased. And their Syrian “ friends” have been brutal towards them. The massive failure of UNWRA which is UN department that has 30000 employees solely for Palestinians also needs to be addressed. If peace is achieved a lot of people would be out of work.

An interesting factor in the Canadian health care costs is how large the country is. The accessibility to a hospital is considerably easier in smaller countries like denmark, Netherlands, even Germany, etc. Since Canada needs to build more hospitals, they need more staff, more equipment etc. something a lot of European countries aren’t burdened with

All of those issues are the same in any OCDE country. \n\nHousing market is shit in Europe too, even worse I would say, but at least they have decent public transports, so you can live outside a city and still go to your work fast. That’s the only real advantage. (Okay maybe construction quality and norms also)\n\nFrom experience, aka a French software engineer now living in Quebec, cost of life is waaaaaaay cheaper here than in Europe. I just don’t buy shitty stuff I don’t need, and eat responsibly. \n\nSure Canada have a lot of issue. Probably due to the current liberal government and the usamerican capitalism, healthcare is in shambles (as any other healthcare system in OCDE), public transport is non existant, etc. \nWherever you go, at some different levels, theses are issues you find in any developed countries because this is just how we made our society and how it’s deteriorating because our model is just bad overall. \n\nI do have gripes with Quebec stuff, which I think it’s one of the worst province in the country, but as far as I’m concerned, as well as most of my immigrant friends, this is still a prime country to immigrate to. \n\nAlso, the Canadians are really welcoming, progressive, kind. (In general, not all of them, don’t get me wrong)\nOne of the best people I’ve encountered and this is very important when you immigrate somewhere.

WHERE are municipal politicians supposedly limiting the construction of homes? I don’t see it. \n\nWe are aware that there are regulations in place to protect buyers and that self-serving industries lobby to do away with, as those protective regulations can reduce profits. Some provincial governments (like Alberta) are highly sympathetic to lobbies and industries, to the detriment of citizens. \nWhy are you not pointing to the fact that successive federal governments of the past stopped funding the construction of lower cost housing (thereby creating more demand AND our number one problem of unmitigated greed throughout the real estate and home building industries? We have some people in government attempting to get more low cost homes built while industries know that they can make more money building houses that are far, far bigger than people NEED. Dumbasses and keep-up-the-Jones folks unwisely buy these homes and then many of them have difficulty affording a lifestyle that they think they are entitled to. Meanwhile, lower income earners have been priced right out the market. Of course, capitalists and real estate investors like Pierre Poilievre will never admit that these are our actual problems. Regulating the construction and real estate industries could have gotten a lot more homes built in higher density for young and lower income Canadians, as well as for our newcomers. \n\nToo much blind and poorly informed anger, selfishness, and foolishness going around. Canadians of the past who pulled together during world wars would call us weak and entitled.

I do agree that we need to normalize and promote a simple lifestyle where non essential consumption is discouraged. I am living in a two bedroom place only 546 square feet and it’s too much! A few months ago I ended up getting a roommate so the place wouldn’t feel so empty. This woman had no other options and likely would have been homeless had I not taken her in. I think Canadians need to help each other a lot more, rather than looking to the government and the crime minister. Their high taxation and uncontrolled deficit spending is the main cause of our economic woes.

They need a CAREGIVER in the house one to one or in old people facility [ care home ] When I came to Canada 55 years ago I worked as a dishwasher 1$ an hour and climb the ladder from there. These problems have gotten a lot worse in the last 8 years. I think the main issue is immigration. We are bringing in more people than what we can deal with. I am not against immigration, but just like all the other things the current federal government has done, they are doing immigration wrong. They think immigration is good, so tthey open the hose fully to bring in as many as possible. This is a bad strategy. They should be bringing in a lot less immigrants and that would lessen the housing issues. I think that this is destabilizing our economy to the point where it could have a dire outlook on Canada. I wouldn't be surprised if some provinces leave confederation. What we need is a balanced approach to all things governmental. Not a LEFT or RIGHT solution, a BALANCED CENTRIC solution. Time to vote differntly.

Canada is a place for freeloaders and lazy people. We get lots of “free” stuff; don’t need to work much and the government tries to cover the difference. The people with ambition have moved out long ago.

Alberta is very good. Born in BC, lot's of great nature but is unaffordable and almost impossible to have a home remotely close to Vancouver but in Alberta you can buy a home right in one of it's cities for a decent price oil will always be needed at least for lubrication of vehicles and farm ware.

Put some real meat behind your video to lift its quality. Lots of newspaper headlines without references/sources, and the great argument about oligopolized industry needs reference numbers, too. It's a very sobering video, especially given how Canada has the same trends as every Western country - just more intense.

As an Indigenous person (Anishinaabe), it's been a real mixed bag. It's been great that we generally have more visibility in media, and the federal government has listened to more of our requests than in years past, and healthcare costs and education gets covered quite a bit. That being said, a lot of Indigenous folks are poor and will very likely stay that way. If middle-class people are facing financial struggle, then it's even worse for us.\n\nIMO, as things get tight, what'll begin happening is what happens on reserves -- families will cram themselves into houses. Adult children living with their parents, young couples living with parents, and single adults having 2+ roommates well into their 30s, 2 people per bedroom.\n\nPlease though, advocate for more housing to your local government. Don't be a f'kin NIMBY. We need homes, multi-unit and single, rentals and ones to own.

as an Immigrant, I'm done immigrating for now but I get taxed net net around 45% + HST + Carbon tax + Property taxes, for all these taxes, I get really not much back. I don't qualify for most services, I don't get dental, I don't need many either, but it is putting a lot of pressure on my entrepreneurship aspirations. The healthcare is truly atrocious and still need to fly for medical appointments by good doctors since doctors here are dumber for some reason. If you want to be an entrepreneur who owns a house, Canada is not your place right now. Worst of all is the culture, highly highly introverted in a bad way, cold people, bad social skills, boring conversations and everyone seems to be high on weed. I am glad you have found something to do as a hobby but if you were in the USA you would have 4X the disposable income (and I think we all would still be complaining).

Australia has a lot better lifestyle & pay rates are significantly higher than Canada.\n\nMy husband & I are a medical professional, offered MD by Australian university with 100% scholarship along with wages in top dollars and various perks.\n\nAfter completion of my degree I wanted to explore Canada.
