I am really sad to see Canada slide. The USA is loaded with 20th Century industrial equipment that still works. Industry really is important to countries with plenty of resources, as Americans are finally realizing.\nToo bad that Canadian agriculture is such a small part of its economy. In the center of the USA, I always look for produce from Canada over any other place, including the States. Their products are simply the best.

You mention that Americans are 30% more expensive than Canadians but you dont mention that the US is far more unequal with a Gini coefficient of 0.41 vs 0.35 in Canada. Now there is also a known issue with using GDP data to calculate productivity and that is that in sme countries the labor of GDP is much lower than in others. You then end up with Irish productivity being the second highest in the world only because most large US corporations operating in the EU register there to pay lower taxes but most of that revenue is just on paper for Ireland. or with Guyana whose oil and mining revenue makes it productivity equal to that of the US. Maybe that is the case, but is it? and if so why is the average wage in Guyana so much lower? so choosing only one specific stat can make any point of view seem true. you have to look at the bigger picture.\nnow the issue is Canada has been getting more unequal but it is still much better than the US. so what it means is that the higher worker productivity in the US benefits corporations and billionaires far more than it benefits the average American. now if we compare cost of living say between NYC and Toronto:\nCost of Living in Toronto is 37.5% lower than in New York, NY (without rent) \nCost of Living Including Rent in Toronto is 47.1% lower than in New York, NY \nRent Prices in Toronto are 59.2% lower than in New York, NY \nRestaurant Prices in Toronto are 34.5% lower than in New York, NY \nGroceries Prices in Toronto are 33.0% lower than in New York, NY \nLocal Purchasing Power in Toronto is 7.2% higher than in New York, NY \nand this is similar when comparing almost all large Canadian cities with a comparable US one. And whilst housing and NIMBYIsm is real issue you have very similar issues in the US which also has almost no mix zoning. But throw in safety nets and go ask Canadians if they want to change for the US system. I doubt most will. Sure some want things to change but some assuming everyone wants an ultra capitalistic society. most are ok with less growth ut better balanced growth (the exact opposite of the boom and bust US model)

So I decided I need to go get a mammogram. I contacted my GP and he gave me a referral within a couple of weeks. I had my mammogram. They didn’t like it within a week. They did it again. They didn’t like it. They decided to do an ultrasound. And still, they found areas that they were not happy with. So within another week, they did two biopsies. And they came back as cancer cells that had not gotten together yet to create a tumor. So it’s called stage zero cancer. Within two weeks I was in surgery where they took out everything they needed to and I was told that I have good margins. I then had six weeks of radiation. Five days a week for six weeks.\n\nSo about nine months after that and that healing, I had a referral to a plastic surgeon. She reduced my other breast so that I was even. That was about eight months ago. And this week I had a further reduction, call it a fine-tuning, to further ensure that I was even.\n\nThis was all done in Montreal Quebec Canada. \nI paid zero dollars, except a few times I may have paid six bucks for parking. \n\nI am cancer free. I’ve gone from a double D to a B, which you know is better than dying. I am so happy that I live here.

I live in the suburbs of Seattle. I need to win the lotto to move. I'm a sick vet that needs multiple surgeries. I apply for help in my home. All that I get assigned to my house are asylum foreigners that come in to pretend to work....my house is still dirty and they don't help me while I grocery shop...they sit all day SLEEP and play with their cell phones!!! As a vet I'm so close to give em a kick out the door But I just tell them that I have to take a short trip...tell them to go wait in there car till I get back ... This video and these comments are so shocking and depressing. 10 years ago, people still widely praised and raved about Canada and it was a leading country in healthcare and standard of living. Now people are saying the complete opposite and saying it's in a terrible state. I know countries have their downfall at some point, but Canada, of all places, having a really horrendous \n economical crisis is so hard to grasp.

A few years ago, I was in the ME for about a year, travelling through different countries. The Arab countries didn't want the Palestinians to live in them. They were only allowed visas to cross them. Don't know if this is still true.

Something is not adding up. Just stop the bus and get them off the bus. Something is wrong. That is an extremely easy stop. They even know the buses. Stop them. ICE can do that.
