I support Justin Trudeau's move... How poor you are but never let others bully you... Mosquito bite is very annoying.. let them feel it.. Great Canada

Trump is actually helping Canada with this move. Governments have to fight tooth and nail these days to get protectionist laws passed and protect their industry but here Trump just made Canada do it. The Trump administration knows what they are doing.

The best thing for General Motors to do is move their whole operation into Canada. We have trade agreements with the EU and Asia Pacific. They can only benefit from our stance and suffer from the US stance.

Not a smart move by Canada and Mexico, Trump is holding all the cards, he prepared for this long ago, the plan is huge, I assume US Is just trying to force Canada to be the 51th state or go bankrupt which isn't a bad thing after all but, we will see if this if this is going to be a huge mess* or a huge succes

If Canada wants to go with China , Damn good for USA ; Most of the countries surrounding India , Economy collapsed plus some African nations ; They moved out of China now ; Make a proper deal with Trump ; All he wants no drugs / human trafficking into USA

Mexico and Canada imposing tariffs on the US is not going to hurt us like they think. We have more ships and planes and are able to move more goods faster to other countries who will buy. Not to mention the fact that Mexico and Canada were never fair to us in trading. In the end they will have hurt themselves way more then the US. Why do you think Trump has done this and most of us are not worried.

Very good move with Canada and Mexico. It’s the duty of the leaders of relevant countries to
|

No that isn't why Trump has moved on tariffs. He has imperialist ambitions. He wishes to use economic power to make Canada part of the USA.
|
| 2025-02-01 | 0 |
Canada should have moved away from dependency on America after Trump 1.0. Never trust a friend like America. They are not benevolent partners.
|
| 2025-02-01 | 0 |
Wrong move by parasitic Canada. The counter tariff will not work. Canada can switch it's economy to China. See what will happen.

Canada falling straightt into the trap.\nGM is dragging its heels to move manufacturing back to the USA. \nCanada is now helping in that.

WoW talk about biased, we have specific reasons for these tariffs, Trudeau is irrelevant and the Mexican presidents have always had their strings pulled by the cartel. Its why the U.S. is pushing these tariffs. Mexico needs to cooperate with the U.S.. Canada will do so once the new PM is in. Its already Check Mate. These retaliatory moves by Canada and Mexico are just for show. They have no real pull. Period.

Back in 2016, Trump introduced 25% tariffs on China 301-classification imports that severely damaged my business. For whatever reason, he then exempted the tariffs, but the public still assumed that they were in place. It was a perfect Trump win-win move to make the voters think that he was acting tough, while actually exempting the tariffs for us importers. Unfortunately, Biden got into office and immediately took away the exemptions and screwed us. I mention all of this in order to exemplify how nothing is as it seems when it comes to Trump. Sometimes you have to let this stuff play out before overreacting. I think that Canada made a mistake by overreacting so quickly. This will force Trump's hand to pursue the trade war, even if it was not his actual intention.

honestly so petty of canada. we did it first. move on and get over it
|

Probably not a good move for Canada to play games with Trump, their economy is in excess supply and the US is the largest consumer market, they will fare much worse. Ditto for Mexico, their economy being 1/25 the size of ours. Fixing the border is a win-win.

Well Canada isn’t a Muslim country so it makes sense for you to move to a Muslim country. Good luck.

Truthfully it’s better to just leave Canada all together there are plenty of other affordable countries. Moved to Costa Rica more affordable

My cousin moved to Texas from Canada with her husband & 2 young children. They grew up in the US & one of those children now live in Scotland. My cousin recently moved to Tampa Florida & loves it. \n\nI have a friend who married & moved to California, raised her 3 boys there but then moved back to Canada to assist to care for her aging mother. She is one of the biggest advocates for living in Canada. \n\nI am working on moving to the US due to my fiancé lives there.

I am a newfoundlander known across the country as a NEWFIE. You ask would i give up by birthplace to move to the USA? I wouldn't consider moving to anywhere in Canada let alone move to the USA. We have health insurance which is taken care of by government, we have Dental care that's taken care of by government we have Starbucks, Tim Horton's, and all the other goodies you mentioned here or you think are goodies. We have very nice people and everyone is willing to help and not stab the neighbour in the back. We have some of the best that nature has to offer. Move? Not bloody likely.

Where were they moved to. I saw that Canada was sending I think it was 11,000 to the United States. Is that true?

Looks like it took Canada the Tariff threat from the US to clamp down on this otherwise every one from all over kept pouring in here and then moving to the US

How bad is Canada? Is Mexico better than Canada? Because I’m in Mexico and is difficult too but is cheaper, I will move to Canada to study practical nursing and I’m a permanent resident there but I’m scared if I’m doing the correct

Never lived there but I drive through alot. California used to be alot nicer but even in its prime its a waistland 3rd world country compared to canada. Texas was horrible. Everyone is rude and stupid. I understand the lack of education but even the people in charge are very simple minded and it's very rare to meet a beautiful woman. Everyone is plastic or too skinny and gross to look at. It's nice to live next door and drive through on my way to the pow wows. I would never move there. Unless canada makes more then 2 genders! Then I will fight a war against canada amd move to usa where we can arrest perverts for going into girls rooms.

Thanks to trump now Canada has to stop the naivety. Indians are have to be the most invasive type of humans on the planet. No civic sense of where they move to, they just invade and bring their culture as if the host country has to adjust to them, smh

If white people are so evil and racist, why do you insist on coming to live in our homes?\nindian immigration has destroyed this country, it will never be fixed. These ‘people’ behave like utter animals, destroying nature, poisoning the water, using beaches as bathrooms. They are extremely nepotistic and will only hire other indians and family, it’s next to impossible for young native born Canadians to get even basic level entry jobs if the person hiring is indian. \nindians have abused the goodwill of our citizens and our social assistance programs. For the first time in nearly a hundred years our local food banks had to shutter and turn people away because INDIANS were using it as a free grocery store when they had FULL TIME JOBS and brand new bmws, then they post videos on social media saying ‘how to get free food in canada’, while some poor emaciated bastard gets turned away. What makes it worse, a lot of these Indians, especially in the prairies, already have their groceries subsidized by federal government, and they STILL abuse the food bank. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

1/2 the population works, the youth can't move up economically, it promotes gig, contract, temporary, part-time, no benefits and the long term result is economic instability and citizens here can't afford to have families, have a life. . . People who work and live here and have their finances here, don't benefit the same way. They invited 1.2 million in one year alone and are backlogged over a year. What was this crazy government thinking? Projection is that 1/2 million people will be 'un' documented next year? And out of the 16-17 mi full-time jobs, probably less than half paying a living wage in 'Canada.' It's beyond stupidity, completely incomprehensible what our government has done. Pay Canadians full-time with proper benefits. The Canadian government sets a low benchmark for Canadians 'here.' and just keeps lowering it, not to mention, cash, bribes, kickbacks, and a blackmarket will emerge. They don't know what they're doing.

I am a UK citizen. I find it strange that Indian nationals claim to be 'proud' of their country, yet they all want to move elsewhere (UK, US, Canada, Australia etc). If their country is so great, then why do they want to keep going to other countries? And then there's the bureaucracy for those who want to visit destinations such as India. If India wants to impose endless paperwork and procedures to other countries, then it should expect the same. India was the one that started the childish tit-for-tat behaviour when the UK and Canada were restricting visa applications during the pandemic, so therefore India banned e-visa applications from Canadians and UK citizens. If India wants to behave like this, then why can't other nations? The UK is full of Indians who come here and don't want to integrate to our way of life etc, hence it's better for everyone if they just stayed in India.

Justin Trudeau killed Canada. Indians have one huge issue which is anywhere they move, they move with their 14 generation.

I have lived in Canada most of my life. I've felt lonely here most of the time. It is a rich county but so isolating. It's hard to make friends as an adult. It's very multicultural so people don't make an effort to meet people outside of their circle. It got worse after the pandemic. If I could, as a black woman, I would move to Mexico but I can't afford to support myself there. My profession keeps me here in Canada, well-off financially, but lonely.

I am a Canadian. Moved to Houston and lived there for eight years....there is nothing pleasant about living in the United States. Sorry but you guys fail even the basic courtesies of life. Was relieved to get back to Canada and get rid of my sidearms! Hospitals and clinics in the U.S. want proof of insurance or they can refuse to even look at you! In Canada no clinic or hospital can turn you away....and we have the Good Samartan law here...meaning you can't be sued for helping someone in an emegency. I actually knew a person in Houston who made her living suing people and companies just because it was easy money....try that here...lmao. To sum it up....living in Canada has the most appeal for me. Now, 2025, I would not even cross the border...too dangerous...trump tards everywhere and who knows when you will be on thier target list.

Believe or not because of the behavioural issues also become one reason for rejection. Maybe not a big reason but it definitely should consider. Any immigrant who enters to a country must obey the rules and policies, respect others, environment, culture etc. in Canada from some cities other nations are moving out out due this people are trying to make here as their country in all aspects. Most of them are really loud in stores and anywhere we go. Definitely there should be some behavioural lessons for them for sure. Some make illegal documents. Some so gossipy at work places. Some tell so much lies to reach higher places at work. Some are gangsters. We have other nations but I personally see only very few nations don’t blend well with the country. Every country have people as mentioned above but it’s more commonly we see and noticed in some cultures due to poor and no proper education. It’s unfortunate

We went to leave Canada too and both my husband and I were born and raised in Canada. We even moved from southern Ontario to Saskatchewan to Alberta. It is so unsustainable and sad to see that the government doesn’t care about their citizens. I never voted liberal but regardless of that, it shouldn’t be this hard and I don’t see it getting better - only worse.

India is amazing. Indians are not, sadly. I moved to Canada not too long ago and my experience with my fellow Indians, sadly, has been horrible

Easy. At least in the USA and Canada Indians come here illegally \nThey are moving up in rankings as a nation source of illegal migration.

India's over population is the biggest concern to the whole world. India should simply merge with Australia, USA, UK, Canada and NEW zealand. So many indians are dying to migrate to these counties. So many indians do not want to live in india due to lack of quality of life, corruption, pollution and over population. If india merges with these countries they can move half of the indian population to these countries and the quality of life in India will improve.

India may be rising on the world stage but videos like this don’t demonstrate that to be a good thing. Demanding countries allow you to move there? Are you serious? You’ve already ruined Canada.

Thank you for the video. I'm 33 and Partner is 30, graduating soon from his PhD. We love Canada and everything about it but weather. However, we feel increasingly bored with life here despite the fact that we live in downtown Toronto. So we think of moving to Europe or US, haven't decided yet. Depends on jobs, cost of living and crime rates.

Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. As a woman in Canada with children, what I do with my uterus is nobody’s business. I like my option of 18 month parental leave. I like my option not to do overtime and not have affect my job. I like my vacation and I like my sick leave. We have a safety net up here for mother‘s allowance child tax credit unemployment insurance. It is a safety net for hand up, not a handout .You guys like to pick your presidents and what your comedians will make for a living for the next 4 to 8 years. Up here we pick our Prime Minister‘s based on what they do up until they are seeking election and vote accordingly. We’re not allowed to carry weapons and use them for protection up here we look out for each other. I would prefer my children to live in a multicultural society where they are just used to other traditions and culture and Orientationchoices. That is not based on the colour of your skin. I like to have a conversation about a political opponent without it getting dangerous you’re allowed to have an opinion up here and that’s how we view it, but quite frankly after half an hour 15 minutes we we get bored of political views and just walk away from you. There’s no such a thing as you don’t want to live in that area and you have to be careful about where your kid goes to school. What does that do to the people that you’ve left behind? How does that make that better for them? I had a friend that worked down in the United States and every time I talk to her, she always uttered. I have to be aware of my white privilege. What the hell is that and I have never seen anything in your news down there about your native society we try to acknowledge and integrate them quite frankly, you guys are just worried about yourselves and not about anybody else

Canadians are all moving to Aus??. \nComparing Aus with Canada is really ridiculous. Life in Aus is far far better than in Canada.

Canadian here.. Canada has its pros and cons.. Come hell or high water I LOVE CANADA... I am home sick for Canada and will be moving back to Canada in 2025... The sooner so much the better.... It will be nice to live under the Crown and not in a republic.. I just do not care for the American mentality at all.. Also I do not like health care in the States..

If I wanted to live amongst Indians I would move to india. They don't belong in Canada and are a blight on Canada.
|
| 2025-01-09 | 0 |
I came to Canada from India as an international student, worked hard to pay my tuition, and earned permanent residency through the express entry points system. It wasn’t easy—I had to balance studies, work, and adapting to a new country.\n\nI understand concerns about immigration, and yes, some take advantage of the system. Part of the issue lies in the aggressive marketing of the “Canadian dream” by certain colleges and recruiters in India, exploiting vulnerable people and leading to misuse of Canada’s policies.\n\nI also recognize frustrations with those who protest after failing to meet the points or hire only friends instead of deserving candidates, even if they’re from my country. But that doesn’t mean we’re all the same. Just as Hitler and Anne Frank were both Germans, nationality doesn’t define character.\n\nIndia is incredibly diverse, and judging an entire group based on the actions of a few is deeply unfair. Experiencing racism simply because of where I’m from is heartbreaking. I hope we can move past stereotypes and see people for who they truly are.

Indians alllive together and get jobs here in Canada under the guise of DEI meanwhile in true Canadian culture we move out at 18 and have to survive and find jobs and pay for everything as one person not a family or persons living together and yet we still aren’t prioritized for jobs.
