I’m an American who voted for Harris. You just simply need to know who is entering your country and to be able to control it.

Half of the people living in the country illegally are not being extradited back to their counties because their country will NOT take them back, these people are from China, Russia, India, (and others). There are also many who seek political asylum. The vast majority of this people entered the county legally , applied for residency , were denied but stayed in the country because the government couldn’t send them back to theirs. Contrary to the belief most immigrants aren’t coming from Mexico but from Guatemala, El Salvador and Venezuela.

I can’t understand why these people waste thousands of dollars paying off authorities in Central America and Mexico just to enter the U.S. illegally, instead of using that money to move to other developed countries. To make things worse, they bring along their conservative, anti-LGBTQ mindset and try to impose it on others.

I don’t understand why these individuals spend thousands of dollars paying governments in Central America and Mexico to enter the U.S. illegally when they could use that money to settle in other developed countries. On top of that, they spread their conservative and gay views wherever they go.

Why is it controversial? Isnt it logical to deport someone who enter your country illegally ?

If we don't control our borders and the people that enter a country, then what is the point of having borders? Why is it that only the US and Europe are criticized for wanting to control their borders? I know the answer, but I'm hoping to inspire others to ask the same questions.

How stupid can you get? Trump will do everything he can, legal or illegal, to keep non-European immigrants from entering the country legally or illegally. Trudeau had already screwed up Canadian immigration policy way before this. Almost a million entered the country on temporary student visas this year alone - with permission to also work full time ! Told this summer they will all have to leave when studies are over, they are now seeking refugee status.

I want to both keep my culture, but also teach others about it. And I'm thankful to live in a country that affords me that opportunity. And that's the glue that binds us together, and helps make immigrants accept the core values of the society they are entering (which, note, doesn't necessarily mean that people should have turkeys on thanksgiving... why not chicken korma, or sarma?)

Almost ALL deportation should be through the Mexican border because it was also through that border from where these illegals entered the U.S., regardless of their country of origin! Of course, the border wall needs to be fully completed, first.

Federal government officials needs to investigate and arrest those who are involved and responsible for helping the illegal immigrants to enter the country too… make them pay for it.

I am a Documented Legal Alien and married to an American citizen. I choose at this time to not apply for my citizenship as i dont want to have to apply to my own country of birth to enter again should i need to visit relatives there. However i have lived happily now for 20 years in the USA and have never looked back. We did our immigration LEGALLY and as much as i dislike D Trump. I do agree that undocumented Aliens who live here and married to an American' should not be here. We have the same issue in the United Kingdom and its far harder to deal with there, and there is an Ocean surrounding it. If you want to live here, learn the language, (English, even though America has no definitive chosen language) become a legal Immigrant and most of all contribute to America, its people etc and stop using it for your own selfish gains.

There are people who entered this country over 30 years ago. They know no other country this America. An asylum seeker comes into a safe country, and that's it, not entering a 2nd country, from the USA, which is in itself a safe country. Also, amazing, how many disposable cell phones were in the ditch before entering Canada by an unauthorized entry point. Even Latinos with legal status (the denaturalization clause) can be deported if they find they lied on their application, to enter, or who poses a threat to American democracy, (which the Supreme Court said could be interpreted in many different ways), or who entered the country and became legal, but whose life was not in any danger to where they needed assylum

If they find them they will throw them out of EU and those persons will get 5 years ban for apply legally. On the admission for US citizenship a person is asked. Have you ever been in the US illegally. If he had answered the question truthfully he would have been denied his citizenship. Canada doesn’t operate by refugee or migrant labor. It’s perfectly fine. They charge us higher, but the country is safe and has law and order.
