My dad is an Indian migrant to Australia. He came here legally and worked his butt off for 40 years. To people commenting in the section about how this is unfair and complaining about it. Misleading people about where they're going (detention camp vs flight) is just wrong. They should at least have an opportunity to make final arrangements before departing, like make sure to pass their belongings to friends/family and also notify someone to pick them up at the airport. \n\nThat said, if you live here illegally, you should've seen what's happening and who's coming for you. You could've self-deported and taken a comfortable commercial flight on your own terms.

We just don't let anyone into Australia. If people smugglers and immigrants try and enter our country without going through the right channels, we jail and fine the smugglers. We went to Toronto 2 years ago and it felt like heaven ! I had no idea that Canada was going through hard times (I don’t watch the news !) When I watched the first minutes of your video I was about to tell you « well, same here in France »… but I have to say that the pictures of people on drugs are shocking ! Maybe France isn’t that bad, not yet ?\nWe are experiencing hard times and unfortunately I’m not optimistic for the future. Luckily I live in the countryside and I try to have a simple way of life.
