I’m so tired of this shit! Most of us Americans are severely struggling and can’t get help from the systems we pay into! The only solution is arrest and deport, don’t allow illegal aliens to receive government assistance etc. \nThis has to stop!

Even though I am Canadian, I do not agree with how our government is allowing the migrants into the US so easily. The US has every right to prevent illegal migrants from entering the US.

The question is how much money is Trudeau getting for allowing this loophole to entry - oh poor American citizens, the government you voted into office is betraying you - wake up!

I live right outside Toronto and our government has allowed immigration to go unchecked for the last 5 years our construction industry is infested with unskilled workers disguised as skilled workers and the local unions are allowing illegal workers to operate using corporation numbers instead of government ID, the twist is the workers without government ID don't have to be paid the pensions or health befits witch makes for a 30% increase in money that remains in the unions pockets! It's country wide and probably works out to billions and guess who the unions donate millions of millions of dollars? The left side of our political parties!!!!

My fellow concerned Americans!\nWe cannot ignore the harsh reality that our hardworking families struggle to make ends meet. We pay, only to find ourselves living paycheck to paycheck while foreigners receive free food, housing, and a luxurious monthly stipend of 1400 dollars - a sum that could be life-changing for many of these families. \n \nIt's disconcerting to note that those who contribute so considerably to the nation's finances are left with little by way of compensation. The government's provision of free education, though commendable, stands in stark contrast to the generous allowances granted to foreigners. Why should our citizens' hard-earned money be spent on others first, only to have their own basic needs ignored? \n \nConsider a mother and father working multiple jobs just to provide for their children - and yet they don't even come close to receiving that 1400 dollars in financial support. Meanwhile, those who haven't contributed nearly as much are given such ample handouts. Is this the system we want in America?

Illegal migration is a national security issue. A disservice to the nation's citizens as the citizens' securIty, peace and order will be impacted directly. Governments allowing illegal migration has intention to make their constituents SUFFER.

Our Canadian government sponsors many of these migrants with job search, subsidies for employers, job skill programs, and benefits. In NYC, migrants from South America can go to 800 2nd Ave Manhattan and go up to the 2nd floor to the Embassy and get papers filled out, get a passport, get your reloadable debt card, medical, schooling, housing voucher and live like a king for a few months. Over 200 line up every morning here and several hundred a day go through to get this. Can we be mad at the migrants, NO. Though I can be mad at the government for allowing and promoting it. When I got leukemia from the job the utility company fought Workers comp and stopped my pay to starve us out. I ended up homeless with a wife and 4 children. All social services in NY could do was offer us $13 a day per child for food allowance and nothing more. We couldn’t even get Medicare. The food allowance was only for 7 days. It’s a disgrace how citizens are treated. Come here illegally and they offer you the world. These politicians need to be voted out. Social services was developed to help those citizens in need and it’s not happening. People need to realize that government contractors (usually family of politicians) are hired to help these “migrants” . These contractors even from the UN are in Panama helping migrants get here. If you research it you will get angry for sure. My elected officials in Northern NY know what’s going on and are behind it, they don’t even hide it.

I've got some even more bad news for you Cash. Our government up here in Canada, has been importing military age couples posing as interior decorators, from China, to the tune of 200,000 a year. This has been going on since 2017 or so. Good natured Canadians believe that these are just people seeking better opportunities for themselves but, since when has any communist country simply allowed thousands of young couples to just leave, because they wanted to? I believe that these immigrants are being sent so that China can pre-position their military units, for the coming battle with the U.S. They have already amassed about a million soldiers up here, waiting for their marching orders. Call me paranoid if you like but, we saw something similar to this in West Germany during the Cold War. Thousands of STASI agents were successfully sluiced in, in a similar way. And the nail in the coffin for housing, ZONING LAWS! Look into the restrictions put onto those wanting to build houses, towns, cities. It's insane, and makes it nearly impossible to build ANYTHING but single-family suburbs in the middle of nowhere. No work/industry nearby, nothing accessible without a car. The most beautiful places in Canada, and the most enriching to live in (Old Toronto and Montreal for example as well as countless small towns) could NEVER be recreated. Although, Old Toronto is actively being destroyed because of new zoning laws. In Europe, new developments are built for less money, yet Canadian ones are cheaper with houses practically being made out of cardboard. Europe also invests in cities with reliable public transit and are much safer to walk and cycle in without huge roads and highways everywhere. This allows for much denser housing and affordable communities. Canada is being eaten by Capitalism and pretending to be a Socialist government, the worst of both worlds.

Instead of taking advantage of a class of working age people who can immediately start paying taxes we have allowed capitalists who own both parties with their lobbyists to extract wealth from rent farms and using their monopolies to overcharge us for basic needs under the guise of inflation. If this were true and you have to raise prices by 25%, how come they dont also raise wages by 25% if their profit and overhead have increased proportionally? Increased profits during a slow economy with the pandemic is so blatant whats happening. We are being robbed by long established canadian nepotism families that run our government and point the finger at immigrants. Economies are supposed to scale with population, in the case of immigrants many dont require the necessary fortune we spend on native born peoples public education so they are able to work. We spend nothing on integration efforts our schools abuse them charge the massive international fee. These are rich people coming here with families capable of paying the additional 10-20k a year being international students, and we are not benefitting from this extremely successful industry only the rich are. Imagine if we could be proud of the fact our education is so good people will pay our country double just to get it. Squandered opportunity on every side.

They all immigrate to PEI because it is the quickest way to seek citizenship in the country, as soon as they gain it they move to Ontario. I have met many wonderful people from India through work and because of our government choosing to allow so many people over here without providing proper housing for not only the new immigrants, but also for our own native born citizens, there is nothing available at any decent price for young people like myself who want to move out from their parents homes. It's also causing a lot of people to be racist towards Indians when the fault truly lies in our government. And because we are allowing so many people over here without proper background checks and things such as that we are also allowing people over here that could pose a threat to women or others. I had a cab driver last week (who was from India) who tried to hit on me and told me he left India because he was getting into too many physical fights over in India and also told me he had gotten into physical fights with some of his customers as well. It was scary for me as a woman to be in a car with that man who was taking me to my home. The government needs to do better for us. We feel alone and ignored when it comes to this. The greed pushing this stupid, and not properly thought out, immigration policy needs to be put to an end so that the people who have lived here their whole lives can get a chance at life.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. I really feel sorry for this country and the people of this country. \nI always respected my county, India but now I really feel that the sense of security, belongingness, our culture is amazing !!! \nIf anyone is planning to come to Canada for studies, please think again. Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. A good 30-40% criminals in prison or on bail in these cities are of India ethnicity. \n\nIt is behaviours like these by Indians in the recent few years that has thoroughly infuriated native Canadians and now they hate the rest of us that have lived here peacefully and have been good citizens. There is a very serious, very real anti-immigrant (anti-Indian too) sentiment building up here. \n\n7. Lastly, the student protests that you have highlighted here is absolutely ridiculous! These students from India came to Canada under a student visa knowing fully well that they are supposed to go back after the completion of their studies, and now they are DEMANDING that they be issued extensions in work permits and be considered for PR. This is insane! This is because they never intended to return to India in the first place and were abusing the system as a back door entry. They are threatening to go on hunger strikes and what not. Legally, on a student visa, they are NOT allowed to participate in any sort of activism. \n\nNOBODY that comes to our country on a temporary visa (student, tourist etc.) has the right to dictate terms to us and demand that we change our immigration policies based on their preferences. No, that will not happen. \n\nCanada, like every country, has the sole right and privilege to decide who gets to become a permanent resident or a citizen based on our national priorities and strategic interests. Most of the people commenting on Canada can't even imagine the quality of life. Even if you're Ambani, you'll still have to deal with pollution and dirt all over the place. Due to the influx of immigrants and recently poor governance of the country, it has slumped. Drugs and homelessness has increased but I've been settled here since the past two years and have had a considerable amount of work life balance and financial stability compared to back home. I did work for close to a decade in India yet could not accomplish what I did in 2 years here. Every country has it's pro's and cons and when it comes to healthcare yes it is sad but will be improved over time. If India was so great why are we taxed beyond question and not allowed to enjoy proper infrastructure and employment opportunities. Canadians are tired of our protests and whining for PR. People with no skills back home, can't land a job anywhere else. Period.

This is the main issue in Canada. We are stuck in so many ways. Our economy is the worst in the G7, so we need to mass import migrants to artificially increase our GDP. But with that, our cost of living will artificially stay high from the increased demand on the housing. All while suppressing wages. All while our government refuses to increase our key natural exports, like crude oil, or nuclear materials. We really are in shambles. Really we need to rip the band aid off, and pause all migration from india for the next five years, not even allowing chain migration. Maintain a manageable rate of legal migration (the US normally has 1 million migrants a year as a high, to a population of 300 million). While getting our pipelines built. Stop the woke shit that is destroying us. Right now every housing project requires an 18 month pause to make sure that the native lands are recognized through a corrupt archeological study (ever since the residential school mass grave hoax). Build houses like crazy, allowing for one additional farm land residential severance. And then stop the regulatory suppression from the federal government on corporations. We have zero money being invested into Canada and it will lead to us having a worse economic outlook than Mexico in less than ten years. Imagine the world thinking of Canada as a third world country. That's where we are heading without some serious shift in how we approach our policy.

And it is not really smart to blame someone else instead of the current government, that led thing south, including healthcare, housing and lack of new businesses in Canada.

But why do they allow so many people of one nationality to enter into the country?? Apparently, it couldn't be because they help to build up the country, because many natives are complaining.. And based on one of the complaints is that they are not interested in conforming to the Canadian culture.. Doesn't the government know that allowing a mass population of people of the same nationality into their country is how colonization begins?? Where, instead of the foreigners adapting to the nation's culture, it's the natives adapting to theirs?? In everything there has to be a balance, else, there won't be any stability.. My conclusion is, a lot of these foreigners only want to take advantage of the opportunities the country has to offer, but they don't have any respect or affection for it.. I have been living in Alberta since 2014. A two bedroom apartment near YYC was around $1350 per month in 2019, is now $2050 monthly as of July 2024. There is no cap on rent increase in Alberta so the apartment management companies and house owners are increasing the rent to whatever amount they want! The increase of immigrants moving into Calgary is worsening the housing crisis and the government has no control over this! Transit system is very weak for a fastest growing city like Calgary, not enough buses on the road which is allowing car dealers to sell cars on high prices on higher interest rate and banks and insurance companies are taking advantage of all these. Most employers in Calgary pay $17-$18 per hour maximum wage which is impossible for families to live on. Horrible time ahead for Albertans if govt. fails to take immediate action.
