As a Canadian..i'll say this. Our country is a bad shape right now...and the countless 'extra' people, mostly indians, are not helping. We need immigration. I am not against it. But I am against illegal migration and resource sucking. There is no legit vetting process anymore. Countless indians are being given visas that were granted on bogus claims on their documents. Fake education records...fake employement records. Then they get their visa...and don't go 'home' when it expires. Then they have what indians like to call 'anchor babies'....so that their baby has Canadian citizenship and then they hope that pity will be taken and they, the parents, won't be shipped home. They don't assimilate and totally disregard our way of life. It is appauling.

The illegals have to enter Canada first at some point and in some way and it's obvious that Canada has dropped the ball on it's own border and immigration controls and is just pointing the way to the US border . This is a big reason why relations with Justin Trudeau and Trump have gone sour . Why is the New York Mayor and the Governor not being arrested ? Going to need a wall around New York .

Lets talk about how NY mayors sent bus loads to Canada at Roxham Road in Quebec. All started because of Trump in 2017. Over 100,000 illegal immigrate were sent over. Both countries are at fault and need to do more reguardless.

Canada and Mexico needs to be held accountable for every illegal immigrant that crossed their border.

Sometimes, i really think that these officials forget that the stuff they do in Manhattan trickles into the other boroughs. New York is not just Manhattan. Brooklyn and Queens and the Bronx are right across the Hudson. Long Island and Staten island are above and below. These officials are affecting the funding that comes to all the boroughs because they want to act progressive. None of the officials of New York are actually progressive. The way they live shows there real nature.

I am Canadian and I completely understand why Trump is threatening Canada with 25% tarrifs. Canada needs to do its part too! This illegal immigration has to stop!

If you are in America and you are a citizen enjoying all that America has to offer and you hate our federal immigration law and you hate police doing their jobs and you hate whatever wrong America has done in the past, I challenge you to leave and go find that perfect county that can offer you all that America can and will live up to your ideals of perfection not just now but through everything they have done in the past. Please find that perfect country that has never oppressed anyone and doesn't oppress anyone now and see if you can f off to that place and I am positive they will be happy to give you other people's wealth to make your stay wonderful and if they don't, hit the streets protesting and get them to change if you can stay out of jail. Stand in their streets and scream that that their laws are unjust and the whole place needs to be brought down because it isn't perfect in your deranged mind and never has been and then see how many countries will entertain your ideas. It is truly amazing that ao many live in America and actively want to tear it down because it isn't perfect in their minds and hasn't been perfect in the past. America is the best thing going and plenty know this or we wouldn't have a border issue. I dont see Haiti having and issue with too many breaking in or Cuba or other communist countries. Wouldn't the fact that the city council, allocated that money AFTER the ice raids took place. Pretty much in response to them, as an emergency to basically help hide the migrants, wouldn't that make them complicit in aiding and abetting or harboring a fugitive? I heard something about the way Miss AOC has been going online producing videos, instructing people how to avoid/escape ICE agents, was pushing the limits on the law. That she might get in trouble for it. Then surely the city council, knowingly providing this money for the purpose of helping migrants, NOT GET DEPORTED, really needs to be looked into. It’s not as difficult to expel illegal immigrants as the government portrays it. With today’s technology couple IT guys could handle it. There’s no need to spend millions on the army or fences. There’s no shame in adopting someone else’s productive experience. Just look and learn how it’s done in Saudi Arabia or the Emirates. Lock bank accounts a month before visa expiration until visa renewal, international money transfer upon presentation of valid visa, entry to theme parks - movie theaters - schools- colleges only with US driving license or valid visa, etc

We have our own housing shortage that needs to be addressed for existing Canadians who are struggling. I'm glad we are taking a pause and redifining the structure of how and who we receive into Canada. Until we sort out the housing crisis, which is in every major city, there simply aren't enough homes to help those in need and address newcomers who aren't financially self sufficient. If those immigrating to another country, they should provide their new country with their own financial means of support, or be of a profession that is in demand, the sooner they get jobs and pay into the system, the better.

I am born and raised in NYC. In Queens many businesses are now suffering with lack of staff and the owners or their family members are now doing the work they’ve been paying immigrants that don’t have their paperwork together to do. It is sad so many people trying to start over and get treated poorly! As a community member it is also annoying having to wait much longer for food or the quality of atmosphere lacking now etc I know something needed to be done in regards to the immigration issue but at the same time it sucks to realize just how many people were being taken advantage of in ALL the local businesses smh. It is definitely a catch 22!

Immigrants fly to Montreal posing as tourists. The airport border patrol officer welcomes them with a smile, wishes them a nice vacation and stamps their passport. The immigrants make their way to the border somewhere between Maine and New York. They sneak across the border at night. The problem is that Canada lets everyone in as long as they have something that resembles a passport. Canada needs to stop the open border “immigration to all” system at the international airports and shipping ports.

I very much appreciate your reporting of the seeming cognitive dissonance of the pro immigration stance of activists which is the general narrative nationally, in mainstream media, and even the Trump Administration BUT the elixir to break the spell of the cognitive dissonance is to call this whole situation EXACTLY what it is: the anti-Constitutional Republic of America / pro-socialist march towards communism.
