I am definitely ok on cracking down illegal immigration and there should be criminal charges for employers that employ these migrant workers with slave wages. However with that being said to deport almost 20 million people that make up more than 50% agricultural workers in the country is a logistical nightmare. Once these migrants go these jobs will need to be filled presumably by Americans that command higher wages. I mean if Trump said he wanted to bring cost of groceries down this might not turn into a good plan.

Trump's lead deportation guy, Tom Homan, was asked if he was okay with separating families during deportation, even if the children were born here and thus legal citizens. He said he'll just deeper the whole family. He didn't care if they were legally US citizens. Trump doesn't care either.

Undocumented workers paid 96 billion dollars into Social Security and Medicare through the INT. They are not eligible to collect from those programs but there work help sustains them. They do work Americans do not want to do. Hotels hire them, farmers hire them, meat packing plants hire them, construction companies hire them. Removing them will be a disaster. The so-called Trump voters who said they are regretting voting for Trump are crazy. I don't understand why they should be regretting? Everybody knows what Donald Trump's intentions are. For example, the 100% rise on tariffs on imported goods, which Trump had tried during his first term and it backfired. Majority of Americans electorate are not just that rational. They make decisions based on emotions. Trump just kept on invoking emotional mantra like the migrants are invading American, woman is not strong and smart enough to be the president of US, a black woman from black immigrant family are not smart enough to be the president of US - old stereo type that have torment America from slavery. It doesn't take rocket science to understand why Trump played on the emotions of Americans. Trump knows that, that is why he kept repeating those emotional mantra, and not talking about the issues.
