I would like to add something here to show my gratitude towards Canada. \nI immigrated in Canada and now a Canadian citizen. The best thing Canada has given me are equal opportunities, and system to adopt. \nWhen we immigrated to any country we should respect and obey the rules, culture and values of country. \nIt is hard to say but nowadays some kind of immigrants consultant become greedy and comming students also become blind followers that they are not doing research by themselves. \n\nCanada has very clear and easy to follow immigration rules that any one with basic education can read and understand. There is no place where it is written to give guarantee to PR or extension of the work permit beyond the limit. Usually anyone taking decision to immigrate any another country then obviously need to do some basic and easy home work. \n\nIt is totally not fare and ethically right to protest in the host country to change their clearly defined rules after landing despite of accepting terms while submitting the studen visa. So my humble respect to prospective immigrants and existing students that protesting to change rules in Canada should not be right way to do instead of protest against greedy and lying immigrants consultants who lied with you to save next students and immigrants.

I must says the Canada was the ideal destination a few years ago but seeing the opposite trend now, many people are moving back to their country of origin or either moving to different country where the living cost is affordable, things are not great here and now the Canada's immigration policy are changed significantly as well in which they only give to certain category of worker who meets their labor market needs such as healthcare, STEM, construction worker, traders, french proficient people and others.

I honestly feel like if this kind of thing continues, North America is going to end up as a new India in terms of overpopulation. the more population there is the harder it will be to provide food. the harder it is to provide food, sustainability will sink and there will be a situation that is nearly uncontrollable, more and more people will be unhappy, The complexity in how prices are rising with inflation of food and housing is bad enough. Imagine this scenario too though, imagine a time where there are so many people that do need hospital assistance, and the waiting rooms are beyond filled. the lack of space, the lack of medical attention for people because there are too many people and not enough doctors in the first place anyway. We must not forget, the amount of jobs to person ratio in existence and the new difficulty factor to get an entry level job these days compared to some 20 years ago. Some jobs such as cashiers are being replaced by self serving stations, so that reduces jobs, even if it doesn't pay all that much, it is something to help if someone is living with family and might only be able to find that for starters until they find something better paying, at least it gives them work experience. The facts have to be looked at in what is happening in many aspects, but there are a hell of a lot of opinionated people that seem to be just fine with the situation, maybe because they themselves are in a sweet position, in a sweet spot and are supported big time to where some others are struggling medically and financially.

That is why the average rent(950$) is more than double nowadays (2000$) for the same house/apartment in compare to what was 5-6 years ago. \n\nHome Affordibility:- Average family(two person) income is $75k yearly right now. Average house price in Canada is $700k. The bank only approves mortgage upto 4x times your income. So that is 75 * 4 = $300k mortgage. So you need to make a downpayment of $400k if you want to buy your own home. \nBy the way, the minimum wage job package is only $32k per year. \n\nCrime and Chaos:- Canada has a catch and release policy for repeated criminals. Let's say somebody stole you car and got caught, he will be released on bail in 10 mins. The crime rate has increased 20% in last 5 years. \n\nTaxes:- Average family(two person) earning $75k pays 29% income tax to Goverment for these above mentioned wonderful servies. So in hand they only get around $53k, plus they pay 13% additoanl tax on groceries, clothers, insurance, absoulte everything.

Dude I like your videos. I don't wanna create hate but just giving my opinion. It is completely different then what you are sawing in video's. Canada is just same like other countries if you have enough skills you get a nice job infact they need skilled worker. And people are really good. In certain area there is hate not without reason. I won't go too far but look like you got sources from news which is 90% wrong and from person who depressed. Canada is the most beautiful country in the world that’s its usp , again we Indians can learn something from Canada is the way they preserved their nature that is remarkable that gives them good oxygen rich air , water and hygiene that Indian people are far away or never witnessed in their life. We don’t have any greenery in our country we really need to work on improving that but neither the people nor the government is interested in making good changes or even have such idea in head ! Along with that Canada has strong tax system you really get tax return as well as strong labour protection act that guards its resident from exploitation and employees can sue the employer if exploitation is provable on table with facts. India doesn’t have any strong labour protection body this results even in corporate jobs you have to work more than 8 hours and no OT , plus Canada has EI (employment insurance) so that means is , if you loose your job for any reason you will get government assistance to help to pay your bills till you find your next job. Plus disability benefits , food banks , freedom to live your life the way you want, you can eat what you want, religion based stupidity doesn’t exist in that country. So yes it’s true I don’t like the Canadian PM either but overall Canada is really good country and we Indians can learn atleast some good things they carry and adapt to our country and make India bit better place to live. Honestly it’s not that I’m completely opposed to immigration in the proper amounts but currently the were kinda eating a** in the housing department, so it feels as though we’re giving space for something that doesn’t completely exist yet, which is also drowning out legitimate citizens from being able to have affordable housing, therefore causing some sort of aggression towards people trying to get away from they own crap, but everyone needs housing and likes it affordable so it’s understandable. I’m a 1st generation immigrant too and I worked too hard to get my permanent residency instead of protesting. It’s hard to go back, situation in not good but they have to understand that going back is not the end of life. In addition, I also suggest you to put some sort of disclaimer in your video to avoid people from hating Indian community. Due to some people and some poor policies too that allowed such people in the country, there is a rising hate for community and your video can trigger it even more although I personally stand for the side that you are showing but there’s a second side of this as well. Canada’s government need to tax rich, tax people who save on taxes with loopholes, and then incentivize having kids, add a better child support payment, increase student grants for people to gain skills that will help them in achieving a better paying job and Canadians feel more ready to give birth to a child.

When I was an international student it was a PRIVILEGE to go and study. You came with enough money for each year - otherwise, no visa. Stop giving visas to students that have no money and need to work to survive. It’s not a right to come study and Canadian students that need these jobs while studying can’t get them.

Trust is you may need immigration, but that is white European immigration, as it used to be back in the days. Give it two generations of mixing and the third generation will look exactly like you. Not to mention we share pretty much most of our cultures and will embrace each other.

IRCC needs to increase the threshold to become an actual citizenship not just loophole or 3 year stay. If we need people in certain industries, then give work permits.

As a Canadian citizen, I see that there are 3 major issues at play in this problem - \n\n1) Canadian colleges are starved off funds and do not have a sufficient, stable source of revenue. Hence they seek to attract international students who pay (at least) 4X the fee a Canadian citizen would pay. According to mainstream media such as The Globe and Mail, National Post and others, International students contribute some where between $15 to $18 billion per year in revenue to Canada. This is huge!\n\nSince this is a lucrative revenue stream for them, they have gone overboard and are providing strong financial incentives to education / immigration consultants to bring more international students here. Consequently, many existing as well as new colleges are encashing on this trend and diploma mills have mushroomed in Canada lately. This is ABSOLUTELY Canada’s fault and the accountability of fixing this lies with Canada alone.\n\n2. International students who come here often end up taking humongous debt or selling off their homes/ancestral property to be able to afford their education and hence they feel cheated when the dream they were sold doesn’t match the reality. \n\nHaving said that, International students do need to understand that they are here or a temporary visa and DO NOT get to dictate terms to Canada. It is Canada’s sole prerogative to extend their work visa or not, depending upon Canadians requirements.\n\n3. The Trudeau Liberal government benefits by giving these students extended work permits and a pathway to citizenship as it translates into votes for them. However this is an atrocious approach to winning elections and puts unnecessary pressure on the system. \n\nCanada needs to streamline this whole student visa process and take stringent action against these fake diploma mills, education and immigration consultants luring foreign students. It damages Canada’s reputation.\n\nLastly, extend the work permits of only those students that meet Canada’s labour standards and requirements and send everyone else back home.

Work permit extension should only for grads level international students, such as Masters of PhD; and only student in urgently- needed job sectors. Government of Canada was doing the otherwise. Time to correct it now. Stop giving universal work permits to international students. Learn from Australia and the States.

These Indian students giving such kind of opinions without realizing that they came the same way as the ones struggling now. They take for granted their current situation of privilege for having a valid study permit and a pgwp later on, however, in a few years, they’ll be walking in their shoes as well. The truth is that this country has an economy to maintain and sadly they are not concerned about your personal realization or you achieving your dreams, they need to fund the education system and after you’re done studying you are not contributing anymore, therefore, the cycle must repeat over and over again. What’s is true is that nobody has nothing for granted, and not being strategic about this life project may make you lose everything. Just research, and plan.

No ..but we can..the greatest Indian philosophy is “Live and let others live” This is the reason we dont want to snatch away other’s way of living and leave them to die in hunger..otherwise we have all the manpower of the world and all the resources in our own country to do our own things..so respect people who are serving your country from other countries and adding value to your GDP..like they are dependent on you for something, you are also dependent on them for other things..that’s the reason your country is not messing with them..you are earning from international students by selling education to them and still complaining about them..then why don’t you ban them and survive on ice..remember india can live without other countries but other countries can’t live without each other..your country is allowing immigrants for a reason and you better understand what is that….You are right because of our never ending resources we are not facing any recession like you are facing right now..you better compare your country’s economy growth graph with india’s economy growth graph then speak about weather the same train is carrying 5 million people in our country or 5 million people of our country are carrying the responsibility of your country’s economy growth..and also analyse how much money your country has borrowed from whom and when then will be able to return it..neither you have resources nor man power..that’s why you added immigrants in your population..they added value to your GDP..still speaking ill about them..horrible hypocrite people first they need you and then will try to use and throw..first you invite international students to your program then take fees from them and then tell them to leave the country..wow..the quality of living you are very proud of shows your weakness..no skills except sarcasm..no work other than drug addiction..

We cared so much about their suffering and wanted to help. We couldnt end the war in their countries so we offered them a safe place to share in our home (country) so they could build a life and live in peace. But just like when you feed a wild animal once they take it for granted and become aggressive when you cant give more. If you need shelter from war and someone offers you a safe place in their house or country its extremely selfish and bad manners to then keep going on about the war in the house or country that was offered to you in good wiil with only good intentions.
