Canada is a thing of the past unfortunately and whats sad is that canadians are so brainwashed , they have no idea how bad things are compared to the rest of the world .

Life in Nigeria is only decent for those living affluently in Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, certain areas of Ikeja and Abuja. Outside of that, life for everyday Nigerians is crap. Water & electricity (NEPA) are highly unreliable & intermittent, so fuel-powered generators are a necessity for living everyday life per household or per apartment in apartment complexes. The banking & government systems are notoriously sluggish, taking weeks and months to process simple paperwork such as drivers licenses, passports, certificates, banking transaction reversals, you name it. Bribery is a daily occurrence EVERYWHERE. Police (if you can call them that, mostly untrained thugs) detain & extort motorists and/or people innocently going about their daily lives, just for the money. Many many many people disappear mysteriously without ever being seen again by family or friends. Lots of inter-racial discrimination and animosity between the three major tribes that make up Nigeria… Yoruba, Igbo & Hausa-Fulani. The federal & state governments are horribly corrupt, bordering on dictatorship. Elections are undemocratic, to say the least, with thugs threatening voters at voting booths. I could go on?\n\nThis is why many Nigerians with any amount of wealth live in diaspora, whether that be the UK, Canada, the USA, Europe, or wherever. And, yeah, be prepared for everything being structured & organized in these countries, especially in North America. The cost of living is definitely higher to pay for a higher quality of living. That’s the difference between a developed country vs a country, such as Nigeria, that’s developing or considered ‘third-world’. Unfortunately, here in Canada we cannot account for the last 8 years under our current administration, which has gone rogue & is out of control, causing high inflation, interest rates and housing and cost of living to soar. This is not normal conditions even to those of us natural-born here. So, we feel for immigrants who have arrived in good faith in the last few years. I’m sure their country of origin is looking better than what is being experienced here in Canada currently.

The core problem with Canada is not its economy but its people. Since Canada has opened its immigration doors to the poorest and most miserable countries of the Third World living conditions have not just deteriorated but have become intolerable as crime, transportation, equal opportunity employment and civil service has been transferred into the hands of these recent migrants. People with low incomes simply can't even afford a place to live and must share their living space with people who have no sense of hygiene, ethics and posses alien foreign values. The only migrants willing to remain in Canada are those from the poorest corners of the world where they face starvations, destitute poverty, disease and social banishment if they return. Migrants who come from Europe or other developed nations discover Canada to be so repugnant that they simply return from where they came. People can survive with poverty as long as they are comfortable with their environment, in Canada living with poverty has become a nerve wreaking daily struggle for survival in a hostile alien environment.

Something else that isn't really talked about is the number of Americans that have immigrated out of country. I'm in the process of immigrating to Australia from America and nearly half of all the people I knew in high school have you ever moved to Canada, Mexico, or Europe. The United States maybe the largest most powerful country on the planet in terms of money and military but if you look at immigration statistics it's more akin to a third world country. Honestly speaking the United States is about 50 second and third world countries bootstrap together with a military big enough to fight God.

I’m a self employed hairstylist and no one is providing health care for me. Second is gun violence in general, mass shootings are a big issue, just because it hasn’t happened in your small city, doesn’t mean it won’t. Mass shootings are just the most extreme version of gun violence. I don’t want the people walking down the street next to me to possibly be carrying a gun on them. That is truly terrifying to me. Third is that politics are so extreme and so prevalent. Lastly the fact that women’s rights are being taken away. I absolutely cannot support a country with very little benefits and aid for those who cannot afford to have a child, that then makes them have a child. That’s the briefest way I can explain my feelings, I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it at that. \n\nThe only benefit I see in moving to the us from Canada is for certain opportunities, and those come in big cities, so there’s absolutely no point in moving to then live in a small city. \n\nI appreciate that you’re being introspective as you go through the video. My uncle moved to Texas when he married my Texan aunt, but I’m fairly certain that’s only because she has a medical condition that means she physically cannot endure the temperatures we get here in Canada in the winter months. I think you need to look at several things before you say most Americans are OK when it comes to health care. First, what proportion of Americans are NOT getting health insurance through their employer? (Hint: it's more than half.) Second how many people feel they must stay in a job they hate just to retain their health insurance? Third, how many Americans go bankrupt every year due to health care costs? (Hint: it's in the hundreds of thousands. This doesn't happen in Canada.)

In Canada we have issues with small businesses funds. We lost alot of small businesses due to covid and they couldn’t afford to recover from the economic crisis. Banks refused to lend small businesses forced them to lend for third parties financial institutions with very high interest rates

As a Canadian moving to the U.S, I can tell you for sure that Canada is a divided country headed for economic ruin. We lose at everything, we cannot build projects without unbearable red tape, approve any energy projects or really provide any economic value at this point. There is supposedly an agreement between Canada and the US called the Safe Third Country Agreement which means illegal immigrants are supposed to apply for asylum in the first country they come to. Unfortunately, because of Trump, the Canadian government doesn't trust any US government to give these asylum seekers a fair hearing. Second, this agreement only applies to official border crossings, not unofficial ones like Roxham Road. Trudeau is absolutely right in wanting to renegotiate the Safe Third Country Agreement.
