When it comes to housing, Canada copied the worst parts of American suburbia. Zoning laws prevent density and public transit is almost non existent with people being dependent on petro. The United States has many of the same problems as Canada at a local and state level. The federal government can't do much to stop it. They need to decrease immigrantion while building more density to help smooth this out, but even the average Canadian has NIMBYISM that Trudeau can't fix.

So thankful to the United States for giving me the opportunity to leave Canada and pursue a better life here. I moved in my mid-20s and couldn't be happier with my decision. It always surprises me how few young Canadians consider this but just put up with their worsening living conditions in Canada. I hope a new government can come in a turn things around for my friends and family still living there.

One thing Canadians need to understand that, yes you're having mass immigration from India but you have to examine closer that the majority of the people who are coming are from the state of Punjab hence punjabi speaking. The common reasons why Brampton has so many Indians.\n1) Even in India there are 22 official languages, but unofficial 121 languages with over 700 different dialects. In Brampton, the majority are Punjabi and Gujarati. These names first come from the language they speak, later to the Indian State. Each language represents a culture. In India also everyone feels safe within their community because it is human nature to bully someone who doesn't look the same as them. So, they feel safe within the community. (Not the same under Trudeau anymore)\n5) A lot of activities for parents of the immigrants because they can't learn English or Culture at this age.\n6) Indian Food and Grocery are easily available.\n\nIt was not that bad before, but the latest influx of unskilled immigrants and students with the absence of manners has taken it to an unrecoverable level.

I’m very disappointed by this video. I recently watched another one by True North about the poor state of the Canadian military and agreed with it 99%.\n\nBut this just seems like pandering to petty divisions and bigotry.\n\nI’m no SJW and agree there are legitimate reasons to question immigration and related policies. The questions were loaded and leading and the answers were cherry picked, especially regarding the East Indian peoples’ responses.\n\nAs an attempt to get likes, attention and comments this, like countless divisive crap from both extremes, was a success. But from an objective, rational stand point this just comes across as being bigoted and ignorant.\n\nLike look at most of the comments. Typical ignorant and hateful spew like close the borders, screw Trudeau, they don’t work, etc. Anyone who studies history sees these usual, predictable slogans and laugh. Again look at the comments. Indians who migrate are paying 30% tax which is used for all of your health care and other Govt services. there isn't third world in eastern Europe ? why the heck you guys don't call yourself as a German Canadian or a Romanian Canadian, but only say African Canadian and Indian Canadian. is your ancestors are First Nation. no right ? all were immigrants who came here for a better life. so do not say or throw your foolish hypocrisy here. Canada is not just for white europeans . well even in Europe you guys keep the class (caste) system from their language. so Indians are friendly did not invade any native people as your colonization harmed these lands. That is exactly what Trudeau wants, replace Canadians with those that feel beholden to Trudeau and will vote for him. So sad that city is in that state. Anyone who comes to Canada to live here needs to adapt to Canadian values, morals and way of life. If they do not want to they can go back to the country they came from. The Indians 'living well' are being funded from India to be able to pay for school, they are also living too many in a house to minimize costs. This is pretty hard to describe as multiculturalism. I have no issue with Indian Canadians whatsoever. A lot of really good hard working poeple come here from there, and I respect their culture. My concern is how we maintain Canadian amid this type of immigration 15:21 seems like there is no real attempt to integrate new Canadians to our system and beliefs. I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

I understand that it's difficult but to complain about paying high taxes to help others, don't forget that others may feel the same way about having to pay taxes for immigrants from Africa. You are complaining about the same system that you relied on. Thats what happened when their is no regulations on cost of living. Same as the United States. Cost of living is not regulated. When landlords sees that when wages goes up they raised rent. You should tell us how many Indian immigrants actually went back to India . Not many . I have seen 20% interest rate here and you think 5% interest rate is high . Indian community is the richest immigrant community in North America . People move to United States and move back to Canada which is normal . 17.5% left Canada but 82.5% are still here , what does that tell you ? There is housing shortage and that will be solved in time . A lot of these problems are caused due to covid shutdown and excessive immigrants coming from India . Question should be asked why so many leaving India ? In 2021 and 2022 , about 900000 Indian immigrants came to Canada and 2023 will likely be close to half a million . We Indian may not like cold weather but we are very comfortable in inside house . So far this year I only had to shovel snow twice and not for months . There is no shortage of job opportunities but One need to be flexible of courier . Canada still tops in most standards and consistently in top 10 among all countries of the world .

Re Indian students as a former teacher I have to also say that many Indian students coning here are lacking the basics. I also found that students educated in US states like Florida and Texas were around two grades behind. Many Indian studenrs here have high expectations but poor background and inadequate English language skills. It is a shame that people are getting into Canada with false documentation and credentials. Also they are enrolling in very dubious schools and it is no surprise that they find life here very difficult. Hopefully the Canadian government will take greater care to see that only suitable candidates are allowed to come to Canada as students. Also students from other countries should avoid coming here if they don't really have sufficient skills and should make sure that they are choosing reputable educational institutions. There are lots of private institutions with fancy names. Don't be fooled.

Here in the states there is a mass influx of Indians in colleges too. I’ve seen them come over in droves to work in software/IT jobs displacing American workers.

Here in New Zealand, I've met quite a few British and Americans living here as well (my partner is American) but recently, I've also started seeing more Canadians coming here.\n\nTypically with British people living here, they say they move to New Zealand because of better pay, better ability to or chances of buying a house (housing here in NZ is already very expensive as is but okay), warmer weather and NZ being less crowded.\n\nA few Americans living here did say they've moved here because they married a Kiwi or they work in the film industry, but most of them say because of New Zealand's free universal healthcare, the fact we have maternity leave and better workers rights than the States.\n \nI never really expected Canada to have the same social issues as that of the USA or UK.

OK hear me out, I’m a Jewish American but I have always been quite critical of Israel especially in the last 3 decades under the Likud government it’s nationalism and imperialism, with regard to its settlements and attitudes to Palestine. That said… Every time we’re close to creating good world sympathy for a Palestinian state, the power-hungry radicals of the Palestinian people always somehow ruin the progress, taking advantage of a power vacuum, and it’s stirring up the people once again that Israel Has to be destroyed off the face of the map. Then on top of that, during peaceful times with momentum for a two state solution, something always ruins it, in this case it was Hamas, seizing power over Gaza with the statement that Israel needed to be destroyed. Then Israel made sanctions to try to make that government fail, but, of course, as we know, it only starved the people and made them angrier and then they did this awful, unspeakable, brutal attack. Hamas is still attacking to this day. If Hamas wants to cease fire, they need to also stop attacking Israel and come to the table and come up with a two states solution and accept Israel. Israel is of course going too far as they often do but it’s a tough call as to what Israel should really be doing right now, while their constantly under attack and threat from their neighbors in a very active way every day.

They need a pass port card to enter the United States that's all stop acting crazy and they can legally come in with a passport card it only cost 30 dollars get real that will say they were undocatment to document just a simple passport card

I have visited the United States many, many MANY, MANY times over the years. I've loved every single visit. The people are warm and lovely....some of your scenery and historic things were more than a joy to behold Would I ever want to move there ? Not even for a second. In fact, sadly, my husband won't even go back for a visit anymore. This is sad to me, but I understand where he is coming from. \nWas sad to say good-bye to our dearest friends who moved to the US, because the job pay and promotion was impossible to say no to. They lasted 2 months and settled for less pay and no promotion to come back home. They found it so weird, that all the new friends they made, thought they were freaks because they didn't own guns. The final straw was when they learned these people were packing when they came to summer barbeques. That was the final straw, and they high-tailed it home. \nIn recent times, a country run by someone I see as a loose cannon, psychopath...makes it a most emphatic NO.
