A man came to my job looking for work. Unfortunately we where not hiring. I asked him politely are you legal to work here because I know some people that are hiring. He says yes the government already gave me a medical card, cell phone and some $$. I've been here my entire life. I've had to work for everything I have ... Doesn't seem fair.

I don’t care if they sneak in here. I care more about them getting housing assistance and welfare while I been living out a motel room for the last 3 years. I’m not trying to be disrespectful to anyone who comes to Canada but if you’re coming here legally, you should be arrested and charged but I also got a question. How are you going to take care of yourself food here is expensive rent is expensive utility bills expensive everything here is expensive, so how are you going to support yourself if you’re coming here with no money no resources it doesn’t make sense to me where the rest of us Canadians who live here are already struggling with high taxes. I was in chile a few months ago. Chile had accepted Venezuelan refugees. What most chilenos said was a lot of the Venezuelans were used to the government paying for everything (utilities, rent etc) so when the Venezuelans arrived at chile they were shocked they had to work. Take a good hard look at what drug users are doing to these people. Cartels have taken over Mexico and many south of the border countries. Look into the avocado market as one example. If they don't pay the cartels they and their families are m****d. In many cases farms are stolen right from under their feet along with everything else they own. They live in constant fear of brutal violence, many are forced into being drug mules. The police and their governments are in on the take so there is nothing they can do. I know a lot about the laid back mentality. If you can make above 100K a year, the governments of Quebec and Canada take a 55% and take another 15% on almost everything you buy in Quebec. Another thing: You also have to wait sometimes 14hrs + at the hospital if ist not a critical emergency. The driving license cost 130$ every year and the license plate minimum 225$ each year. You wanna know how much it is to put a license plate on your fancy new speed bike? 2000$ EACH YEAR! outch!

I moved to Canada in 2012. I used to love Canada as even with $11 per hour job was more than enough to survive (during studies, part time job). I used to live happy life. But, since Liberal government was elected in 2015, things are going crap. Just between 2016 when I signed lease of 1+1 apartment for 1140$, in 2019 it was getting rented for $2400. Prices went up for house and lots of things. Liberals had messed up affordability that most people in Toronto region are living paycheque to paycheque. On top of it Carbon tax in hide of saving environment which literally not working out, is killing Canadians. \n\nAfter living in Canada for 11 years, I don’t see this country has any good future overall. Our banking to technology sector everything is outdated. World is moving so fast, Canada is not able to catch up. I am looking for easy was to get green card of USA, the country which I hated, it seems USA is far better. I have many relatives in USA, I asked around and it broke lots of my stereotypes about USA which I had developed living in Canada and from Canadians. Even met few people who lived in Canada for 10-15 years and moved to USA and living there for last 5-10 years. Worst decision of my life was choosing Canada in 2012 for easy immigration. My classmates who chose USA and moved there in 2012 are in much better position career wise as well salary wise and they files are also in progress. Living lavish life with great weather, while Canada is depressive as hell.

Due to the barbarian russian invasion my family & I fled the horrific situation in Kharkiv city. I was driving a mini bus of 4 families! Most are children. We’ve arrived to Europe. Crossing many countries (Poland, Czechia & Austria) we’ve arrived to the country leading the EU. In Poland & Czechia, we’re treat very good by the people. In Austria we got hardly a payed hotel where children could get a rest!!! We still didn’t understand why they don’t want to give us rooms despite we’re paying for our staying!!! In Germany, I believe that the government did its best. But the number of comers is huge! Of course many they got disappointed as happened with me! But I still understand and believe that really the government & people did theirs best. So fast I got a job! The social connection helped to introduce me to the company! But i was not hired, I still to express myself & my qualifications. The manager was understanding, so he accepted to communicate in English and to offer me the job in case if I am successful doing the job during the first week at the site. I had to change the machines menu into English. So the manager was very satisfied with my job and I got that job. The rent! You’ll get it only if you receive the blessing of each member of the county and a very strong social connections! The doctors! To make just a blood work for my son it took 45 days of waiting! To get the doctor appointment, you need that a German guy call and get you the appointment! Because when my wife called, the secretary said: we don’t speak English! But when my wife went for her visit she figured out they’re speaking English better than her!!! My son has an issue of hyperactivity, so they refused to accept him at school more than 3 hours a day! And he was excluded from the birthday parties of his colleagues aswell other events! Other Ukrainian children, they were just attending classes! Just a show! No body cares how help their integration! About, the taxes! The half of my income was going to the government! The money back?! Only 200 euros/ month for my kid. And nothing else. Nothing! To get a neurologist appointment for my son it was necessary to wait 3 months! Prices?! Everything expensive! Technology?! Not better than Canada at all. Bureaucracy, Canada is much less. Banking system, Canada much better. Where in Germany?! The best province in Germany “Munich”. Where people stoped long ago dreaming to purchase a home. Guys, Canada doesn’t through broken people as we were in camps! Where nothing is human there! Canada doesn’t enter you in cercle of hell bureaucracy just to get your kid into school! And if he needs a support he get it right away without any background that he’s not our!!! I got a good job in Canada; so fast. Without any social connections because simply I do not have any. I rent an apartment for my family, without to proof to the landlord that I’m the best guy in the world with a witnessed county about that!!! I want you to be sure, that I am not the lonely case. SO true about the tap water, lol! I've lived in 3 Texas cities, LA, SF, Oklahoma and Ohio, but the ONLY place of those that had even remotely decent water was SF (and IN the city... the surrounding areas still sucked). Then I moved to Edmonton and lived in 5 different buildings and the water was great everywhere. My fellow Edmontonians beg to differ, but they don't' know what they got. But then I moved to the country and my well water is horrific. :( So we fill up jugs of water at my kid's place in the city haha!\n\nLegit, the best thing about moving up here though is the healthcare. One thing people don't think about is not only do you save on your actual doctor visits, but you save month to month as well. YES, you pay for it with your taxes, but I've found that my taxes here are almost exactly break-even with mine in California, and now I don't have to pay out of pocket for my insurance in addition. Not to mention for the same taxes overall things like roads, registries (dmv), and pretty much everything else the government does is more efficient and better. \n\nMain thing I miss from the US day-to-day is 1: food. Outside of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, you don't get much good variety. 2: good speeds and affordable f'ing internet. Canadian internet is EXPENSIVE as FACK and not overly fast compared to pretty much every other first world nation.

The CBC is a huge issue in Canada. It’s funded ENTIRELY with tax dollars therefore the government decides what we watch, even if no one wants to watch it at all, and the CBC is 100% in love with the Liberal government and all of their news is blatant propaganda. Why not? The Liberals increased the CBC budget to 1.6 Billion a year of course they want to spin the news to help them especially when you consider the fact that many Conservatives want it defunded completely because they are tired of the spin. \nAnother issue is that some areas of Canada make the decisions for the rest of the country. Ontario and Quebec have large populations therefore when it comes to federal elections they basically always get their way even if everyone in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba disagrees. \nAlso, Quebec gets treated completely differently than the rest of the country. They have special deals when it comes to university tuition and child care, they have their own political party that no one else can vote for, and they force the rest of the country to have French all over the place and on everything which is mostly pointless and very few people in Canada can only speak French and can’t understand the English. The amount of crappy, unwatchable French TV/radio shows we outside Quebec have to pay for with tax dollars is beyond ridiculous.\nI know this comment will get hate especially since I mentioned Quebec which is a touchy subject.

Canada doesn't NEED more people. Canada simply needs a government that allows the people it already has (immigrants or Canadian born) to succeed in their life goals and dreams while benefiting society. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

I’ve been living in Canada for 5 years now and I can surely say that Canada is loosing it’s beauty. It’s high time government filters the immigrants it’s taking in the country and it needs to focus more on quality rather than quantity ?\nI love Canada and I feel bad seeing it shaping itself in an ugly way. \nI came from India 5 years ago and I can say this was the best decision but at the same time I feel Canada needs to implement this things to new immigrants coming in:\n\n1) Blend in the local culture and enjoy it the way it is and not try to bring the same chaos and stupidity from back home country.\n\n2) More stricter laws against violators (rowdy immigrants)\n\n3) Once they land they should be given an etiquette lesson and good briefing about Canada whichever airport they are on.\n\n\n4) Better speak English at all times so that everyone can understand everything with clarity.\n(P.S: please don’t consider this racist as Canada has people from all round the world)\n\n5) Cultural festivals need to be celebrated in own space keeping in mind the privacy of others and be courteous to others making sure they’re not bothered.\n\n\n6) Not trying to force others to believe your way or follow certain religion etc and be respectful of others. \n\n\n7) Stop complaining and ranting about things they can’t control and not pollute the environment by being careless. \n\n\nI see a lot of my fellow people making mess of things his beautiful country and hence i hope Canada implements the above points so we can have a better and happy society. \n\nCanada is a land of opportunities and yes it has got some flaws in the system but that’s not what we can control. In Australia everything is electronic, no visa stamps at all. The first Australian document you get is an Australian passport after becoming a citizen. There are no permanent resident cards etc. Every entry/exit is automatically logged on the government system, and you can even download an app which tells you your visa status, conditions and whether you're onshore or offshore (so no need for passport stamps).

The government does everything to discourage Canadians to have children, but plans to increase immigration. 500,000 a year? This is social engineering and importing potential voters. Plain and simple. Many countries have much lower education standards, and they just can't come here and work in the same field as back home. We can't lower our standards. It starts the second you step off the plane as you said, Canada will NOT recognize any of your certificates or education and make you re-certify yourself.... at a cost.
