Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Put yourseld in our position and you know what I mean.\n\nCanadian Goverment is too nice compare to other western country go and take a look at the US, Australia, British, New Zeland and Europe Nation. If u cannot sustain yourself do you think those gov at given country will give a care abt you? Indians love the EU too, I see them in Spain owning the businesses. They are highly motivated to get out of their own country. It’s time that India gets its own house in order by raising their standard of living and offering good government benefits like pensions for their citizens.

Inform German people that every language has levels, and that it takes certain time to reach a certain level. They (the Germans) just lack education and information, since they themselves are not good language learners. As for discrimination and xenophobia, all present in Germany, I am not sure what to recommend. My advice used to be travel more, but Germans do travel and are still racist. Perhaps more education in this specific area/field would help? What I have learned is that the process of getting rid of nacism (with a specific name/term for it) after the WWII, has not been thorough. I have learned that after visiting museums in Germany.

It's not so much a German issue, rather about communities and law dynamics. PA is rly struggling for everyone, but for foreigners services they are making clearly less efforts. Then when it comes about being different from a local, again like in every country, you would not know anything about the law, the school, the possibilities, the services and all the good aspects which Germany has and often people do not know. This is often filled up by talking to people, which luckily happens still also here, where the people are kind, although you have to be close to someone most of the time.

My experiance with German culture is kind of simillier. All though I am not from Germany but from Austria.\nThe simillierities are kinda parallel. \n- The housing market is getting worse everyday.\n- Compared to the other countries the job market is not that matured. Specially in tech. The salaries are capped and you can reach the ceiling super quickly.\n- All though I don't have any friends here, my overall experience with people weren't that bad, specially considering I don't speak German.\n- Occational racism? sure. But there were good people as well. And I think there are bad people everywhere.\n\nAll though I was mentally at a bad place after a year living in here, what helped me better my mental health was realizing that my worth does not comes from other people, and not everyone needs to me my friend. \n\nTips if you're a newcomer.\n- Realize that people are not cold because you look different, but sometimes its the culture, so do not take it personally.\n- Be polite to other people and don't be apologetic if you can not speak german while taking services, often time speaking in easy english without thinking of grammers helped me making people feel easy to communicate with me.\n- Meeting people would be hard, so rather than trying to make friends everywhere try to join an activity that you actually enjoy, often time you will meet likeminded people that you can build true friendship with.\n- And be respectful to their culture.

Canada is one of the best countries, I agree there are few downfalls, but on the other hand you can’t even in judge a book by just looking at it’s cover. The important point is India can never be clean, disciplined or have hours infrastructure as any wester n country , even if we have number one gdp. The reason is Indian mindset is to not respect the nature and litter everywhere as compared to Canadians who treat nature like their family. No Offence to anyone but when you applied to come here as a student or tfw you had to prove and swear that you will go back home once your studies or work permit is done , its a part of the cbsa and irrc questioning if your protesting you are breaking the rules and laws of your visa and you are subject to deportation because you lied to immigration and the cbsa , i lived in another country for 3 years during covid i could stay up to 3 years with my visa , my last renewal the officer told me sir this is the last renewal you will have to leave so that is what i did i respected the laws of the host country and went home , i feel sorry the students were lied to by the schools the government and THEIR own People telling them they will get pr give us 20k-30k cdn $ but thats not our problem .... vet the agencies yourself before applying , come here legally and there is no issue , but don't think our country has to give you pr or CITIZONSHIP just because you spent allot of money or worked here pr and CITIZONSHIP is a privilege NOT A RIGHT , when you had the interview with immigration and the cbsa what did you Promise i will leave didn't you ? time to start packing like i did go home and better your country with the knowledge you go from here if you dont break the rules you can always come back Legally god bless and good luck

As an-ex permanent resident who left Canada more than 10 years ago (before becoming a citizen), and always regretted it, seeing these type of videos (and comments) make me a little bit less remorseful. I went back a couple of times as a tourist for short period of times in Quebec and I did not notice a real degradation. Of course the covid period left some marks.\nBut the situation in my home country, France, to is going downhill much faster than Canada. But at least I know that re-emigrating to Canada might not be a good idea after all. Anyway it is becoming way too complicated due to my age.

My dad came to this country in the 80s; I was born here. I had a lovely childhood in the 90s and 2000s. My parents bought a house in suburban Toronto with just a high school education. They sent us to public school, which was perfectly good. I was looking forward to buying my own house, etc. I loved this country. Even back then, people were reticent about being too nationalistic. But I was PROUD to be Canadian even though my parents were not born here. I thought of myself as Canadian, I sang O Canada proudly, I celebrated Remembrance Day in a solemn way even as a child, and I would have died for the country if we had been at war. \n\nWell, not anymore. I don't recognize this country after years of Trudeau. I can never buy a house here, the cost of groceries is burdening me, and the younger people in my family can't even find part time jobs as students. People are increasingly rude, crime has me on edge, it's congested. Freedom of speech, which was taken for granted when I was very young, is dwindling away. Churches have been burnt, Trudeau has incited hatred against people who disagree with him. I'm actually moving to the USA to work there, so that will ease a lot of these issues. (I know it's not perfect down there, but having spent a lot of time there, I can see many things are better). But I'm sad. I'm sad for my family that still lives here. I'm sad that the country I once loved is gone.

During the peak COVID times, the immigration allowed even a college students to bring in their partner (including those who are in conjugal relationships) which again bloated the influx substantially... Needless to say the immigration scamsters in India, Canada and throughout the globe took advantage of this going to the extent of faking the IELTS and few other documents... The Canadian Government has woken up and making a course correction, which is good for both Canada and all the countries to have a cleaner system based on credibility...

It’s about time the Canadian government has really made a mess of things , still need more schools and hospitals, fix roads and make the roadways safe again the transport drivers on the road now very bad of course there are good drivers but enough bad ones highways not safe any longer!!!!! The students taken in by QUEBEC to be trained as nurses are complaing they do not get ENOUGH financially. The few CANADIANS going into nursing here have no financial backing. They carry themselve s through by working part time . I suspect many will not pass their exams anyway. No matter how much people are payed if they are not happy or liking what they are doing , they will not be doing A GOOD JOB.

Canada is giving the tourist visas for third-world countries, and they are seeking refugees after arriving in Canada, at the same time limiting the student visa. Good luck with that.

you should investigates why there were no more canadians working in front line in many stores. take a good look if who were working now in all of the establishments you are visiting. You can see that most indians are now working there. heard from one indian friend that his indian friend’s father is working in visa processing dpt that’s why it is easy for them to get visa. people who were working hard and invest for their job for a period of time have vanished becuase iof indians. that’s why many other immigrants from other country lost their job because indian managers are only accepting indians workers and rplacing pioneer workers to indians only. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.\n\nMulticulturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Canada used to be good because it had a strong middle class. But over time, the rich got richer, and the poor got poorer. Corrupt oligarchs who control the government and idle youth that form gangs. People complain about race, religion, and immigration, on the one hand, and complain about acceptance of a woke agenda on the other. When what can really fix the country is true cooperation. Conflict and division are expensive and don't produce long-term profit. Cooperation does.

Who does go to Germany and expect to have a good time there?. I was contacted several times in LinkedIn for a job interview for a position based in Germany. I refused them all. I believe that the waves of immigration from Africa and Middle East have exacerbated the friction between foreigners and native Germans. Hence the place has developed an even stronger skepticism against foreigners and it has become a NO-GO country for the rest of outsiders, including other Europeans. Germany is simply in the back list of places to visit or live.
