The US is wild and there are many downsides, such as lack of healthcare and unaffordable higher education to name only the two most glaring ones out of many, but it is economically more vibrant. Regarding rent prices in large cities, if I were to live in Canada again, I'd definitely steer away from Vancouver or Toronto. Montreal has very affordable apartment prices comparatively if you're willing to put up with learning French for instance. Food prices have gone up but so have they in the US since COVID, whether you're living north or south of the border, it's not much better... In the end it's all about weighing pros and cons. What are you willing to sacrifice / let go of, and what is something you can't live without?

I usually like videos from this channel. But i disagree with this analysis. I believe any country can't be either good or bad. Instead of blaming other countries, first fix issues in your home country. India should devoid universities of caste , creed, etc, and only on the basis of merits. Improve the infrastructure of metropolitan cities in india. Mumbai can't be even compared to Toronto. This election has shown that people in India don't have a vision. I was in Canada for 1.5 months and I can say them much better than India. They have flaws but compared to India they are not that major. Human life matters there a lot more than in India. We as Indian expect they should behave like India so that we will get any thing and do things the we are doing in India but we forgetting one thing we are in there country we need to adopt our self according to there standers. They might lack sometime in medical but native people have much better Health than Indians because since childhood we are taking tablet for any sickness.

I honestly feel like if this kind of thing continues, North America is going to end up as a new India in terms of overpopulation. the more population there is the harder it will be to provide food. the harder it is to provide food, sustainability will sink and there will be a situation that is nearly uncontrollable, more and more people will be unhappy, The complexity in how prices are rising with inflation of food and housing is bad enough. Imagine this scenario too though, imagine a time where there are so many people that do need hospital assistance, and the waiting rooms are beyond filled. the lack of space, the lack of medical attention for people because there are too many people and not enough doctors in the first place anyway. We must not forget, the amount of jobs to person ratio in existence and the new difficulty factor to get an entry level job these days compared to some 20 years ago. Some jobs such as cashiers are being replaced by self serving stations, so that reduces jobs, even if it doesn't pay all that much, it is something to help if someone is living with family and might only be able to find that for starters until they find something better paying, at least it gives them work experience. The facts have to be looked at in what is happening in many aspects, but there are a hell of a lot of opinionated people that seem to be just fine with the situation, maybe because they themselves are in a sweet position, in a sweet spot and are supported big time to where some others are struggling medically and financially.

Homeless people are everywhere. As for non-aggressive homeless, I cannot say. Racism towards blacks or other minorities compares to other developed countries. Taxes are high on a salary because one has a salary at least. So what I am trying to say, these are issues I agree. I would instead call them areas for improvement, and a country like Canada can do better.

I have lived in Canada for 4 years since 2004 and some problems may have increased, but that doesnt make it such a bad place to live or immigrate too. Drugs is a choice and the percentage should be compared to India as well then.\nYes, there is significant wait for doctors but its not what you showed in video and if you want to expedite, private system is a choice you can take same as india. \nIf you work hard & save, you can definitely afford to buy a house, same as India.\nI love India but that does not mean I close my eyes for any good things outside of that country.

The cost of rent in LA should be compared to the cost of rent in Vancouver and Toronto. It's about the same.... Regardless of if you make 80k in USD or CAD, it's around 2600 a month in both countries so it will affect your wallet about the same on both sides. And in the US, you might even be able to make more money than in Canada in STEM fields, so the you might even end up with more in the US at the end. In simple words, if you have an extremly seious condition then only you get an immediate treatement in Emergency. So you need to make a downpayment of $400k if you want to buy your own home. \nBy the way, the minimum wage job package is only $32k per year. \n\nCrime and Chaos:- Canada has a catch and release policy for repeated criminals. Let's say somebody stole you car and got caught, he will be released on bail in 10 mins. I’m also from Canada, everything stated is very true. Education is not that great as compared to what fees we pay, think again before coming. Job currently isn’t available. Part time is also hard. In part time, you will earn to complete your housing and accommodation allowance but will not able to collect for your college fees. Just count it yourself, $17.5 per hour is minimum wage and for 24 hours per week. Also minus taxes from it. If you are planning somewhere near Toronto or Vancouver, please stay way. You can try going New Brunswick either. Most of the people commenting on Canada can't even imagine the quality of life. Even if you're Ambani, you'll still have to deal with pollution and dirt all over the place. Due to the influx of immigrants and recently poor governance of the country, it has slumped. Drugs and homelessness has increased but I've been settled here since the past two years and have had a considerable amount of work life balance and financial stability compared to back home. I did work for close to a decade in India yet could not accomplish what I did in 2 years here. Every country has it's pro's and cons and when it comes to healthcare yes it is sad but will be improved over time. If India was so great why are we taxed beyond question and not allowed to enjoy proper infrastructure and employment opportunities. Canadians are tired of our protests and whining for PR. I would say India has the overall better & dynamic healthcare system. Comparing to healthcare facilities in western nation, in India the waiting time to consult a specialist, even a super-specialist is too too low, maximum a week waiting time. Easy accessible, low waiting times also associated with few cons like, people don't respect the doctors, healthcare system. The prime example is rising trend of abuse and physical assault to doctors in India which is hardly seen in any western countries. Nowadays Central govt funded Ayushman Bharat and many state funded universal health care schemes/ insurances also benefiting the patients, giving them access to get treatment in top private hospital without paying from own pocket. Indian healthcare is not perfect, may not the best but its towards better and bent towards the affordability.

My parents bought a home in Ontario Canada 24 years ago. Only after this long, they finally have 100K left to pay. Considering that it’s a small amount compared to the rest of their previous payments, WTF.

When you compare Vancouver or Brampton, compare it with Mumbai, Gurugram or posh areas of Delhi, which looks little managed when it comes to infrastructure. Then you will not find much difference in the price and when you use the purchase power parity difference, the difference in real estate prices seem neglegible.

Canada has stricter immigration laws than America. The USA tends to take in poor migrants compared to Canada, which tends to take in rich immigrants. All those poor migrants that come to America need government assistance to live and America can't afford it!
