Moved to Canada from China 8 years ago, very said to see the status of this country right now. Having been following your channel for a few years, also feel very sad that you will leave. hope that you could visit Toronto again.

Since 10 years i am working in Germany as engineer. After 8 years i had to apply for the citizenship. I could apply after 8 years and since 2 years there is even no one short answer. The process is not transparent and not easy.?

The things that bother you about Canada will follow where you go. That being said, it's still worthwhile to try your luck abroad. The 8 years I spent in Russia were wonderful and life changing. I still can't escape America and our bullshit. Somehow I have to be a part of the solution. Ugh

I moved here 2000 at 8 years old and just like you loved Canada. Grew up in the capital and it hurts to see what it became under Trudeau. There's hope for the next PM but if im honest i would move abroad rn if i could but dont have enough atm

UAE compared to Canada is Extremely Small in Size but the immigrant population is 8.7 million whereas in Canada it is 8 million yet I Don't see homeless and drug addicts.

I lived for 8 years in Canada and then moved to Singapore three years ago. That was the best decision I ever made. I came back to Toronto this year, and was completely shocked by the cost of living, the drug problem on the street, and the huge amount of immigrants from one single country taking over the whole Canada.

Hello Alina, I have been to Toronto in 2007, and I can honestly say, I did not like it. I have my cousin in Vancouver, and after staying there for so long. Has decided to come back to Perth. If I was a young guy, Thailand would be my choice to live. I have just come back from Koh Samui, After spending 8 nights on that beautiful Island. I have met a lot of people from all walks of life. There are lots of people setling in Thailand today. Americans, English, Swedish, people from Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Norway and so on. I had the pleasure of seeing Lilly, her husband Wat, and her gorgeous 3 kids, her nanny, and her son. The food is so cheap, everybody smiles. Not like here in Perth. Wow! Nurses make slave wages in Germany. They make between $70K and $100K before taxes in the USA. My wife makes $110K plus quarterly bonuses working 3 days per week., 8 hours per day. She schedules her own hours visiting patients at nursing homes. Many of our doctors are Indian and nurses are Filipino. Unfortunately, our current administration values low-skilled workers to take care of.

Im in BC . I got rid of the tenants cuz they would be late. Filled 15 non payment / late payment notices with the tenancy branch and delivered to tenant. The tenancy branch did absolutely NOTHING. 8 months later and loosing $36, 000 I made the decision to never rent ever. I got Airbnb license and am glad I made the right choice. I make the same rental income with no headache, and less use of the house. My two friends who had rental properties just stopped renting and sold them and put their monies into other businesses. Id say if you are renting, sell them and do something else cuz its a no win situation in canada. These politicions know there are more renters to give them the votes.

Man I can't believe things are always getting out of hand. Everyday every week it's always getting out of hand. Someone told me the other day, the homeless people in traffic asking for money are getting out of hand. Even though there's been tent cities for at least 8 years now. As an immigrant I totally support to stop mismanaged immigration. I came 14 years ago. Been trucking for 8 years. Still not able to achieve a small goal of a stress free live.. now even thinking to go back with nothing in hand.. all my hard-work and commitment is just gone in vain

I've been a landlord for many years, I've been through a few very bad tenants, out of 8 houses i rent out 7 have fantastic tenats, the one thats always late and is running down my property I've tried to evict for 5 years but he then catches up with rent and cleans up the yard and the cycle starts agian! I would say in my 20 years renting that only a very small percentage are bad but they can couse you alot of grief and money!

Order says to move out by Aug 18. Not only is she able to appeal, which will be granted for any reason she can invent, but even if this doesn't happen he still has to schedule the sheriff to physically perform the eviction which is minimum 8 to 10 weeks out. This is one of the causes of the housing market in that people with units available to rent won't do so because they are scared of this happening to them. Literally thousands of units across Ontario go vacant due to the broken LTB.

bro thought being a landlord is a money farm. the girl is in the wrong for sure but we need her side of the story to fully understand the situation. perhaps she's doing what my friend had to just to finally get the attention from the landlord to solve issues in the building. my friend had to go 8 months not paying his rent (keeping that money separately to please lawyers) just so a landlord would get in contact with him about his apartment ceiling caving in forcing the dudes family to live out of their living room. this landlord just wants to retire, i bet the building has major issues thats being ignored.

The tenants have all the leverage. It takes 6 to 8 months just to get a hearing. They jump from one unit to another without paying much rent.

Housing is the bigger problem, not the immigrants. We allowed foreign buyers to mop up all the detached and artificially raise prices. Now homes are 8-10x income when banks will only lend you 4x. How does that math work? Are Canadians supposed to have 600k saved if they want to buy a start 1M detached in Toronto? There are a multitude of issues in Canada right now.

I been living in el pasonfor 8 years now. And when I first moved here I barely ever seen vagrants or homeless people. During covid it was a ghost town downtown. And now you drive down town it's 100 homeless illegals on every single corner and 40 in between the central park down town can't even see the grass cause so many illegals are camped out shitting on the street and in the bushes. Crime shot up by 300% in just 14 months. It's about to get wild here in the states because millions more illegals are on the way as I typed this

35000 homeless on any given night is a 2016 statistic and needs to be recalculated. We have at least 10 times as much homeless than we did 8 years ago.

This is what happens when activism takes over government, media, and educational institutions. Responsible behavior gets thrown out the window. It doesn't take a genius to figure out you need to have infrastructure before you add more people, not the other way around. Canada hasn't had a government for 8 years. They are radical activists and the country has suffered drastically because of it.

How do you call it scapegoating immigration for the housing shortage? Is it the biggest issue? Yes. You can't increase the population by 8 million people in a decade and not expect it to stretch not only housing but Healthcare as well. It doesn't make you a racist to be upset about that. Sure the infrastructure needed to be increased but that has to be paid for in advance of immigrants coming and with so many people on the poverty line who should pay for that? Me and my family moved to Canada ?? 8 years ago. Today we have our own house, brand new car and some commodities. It has been tough to say the least. Competition with other immigrants on school spots, jobs, promotions, etc. All of us want to succeed, to live the Canadian dream. And to move up is possible but takes time, effort, and a lot of work.

I've lived in 8 different communities in 3 different provinces and Toronto is the only place I've been asked what country am I from. I even had someone get angry when I said Canada.
