Folks, I need to educate many for a second. When you immigrate to this country you DO NOT become a citizen when you get legal clearance. You can become a permanent resident at best which means you can live, work and do most other things here legally. You DO NOT get to vote or work in government agencies as a lawful permanent resident. To become a citizen you have to wait a minimum of 3 years, or more depending on your permanent resident status, to then apply for citizenship. You then apply for the citizenship application and if accepted the process requires you to take a test and go through a series of questions about U.S. history and government knowledge in an interview that you need to pass, before you are awarded citizenship. Through this process you are SUPPOSED to be committing yourself to the United States of America as someone who denounces your allegiance to your old country and is now pledging your allegiance to the U.S. This is now your home country and you treat it as such. You are now an AMERICAN, not a whatever from wherever that just lives in America. It should be a big deal and one to be proud of. I know people that have been here for 25 years as a permanent resident and they still have no desire to become a citizen. They have lived off of this country, raised families in this country, worked and benefitted from this country and still align with their old country and are completely amiss to what it means to become a U.S. citizen. There is a reason that only citizens are allowed to vote! Because you should have an allegiance to America and should vote accordingly and not be allowed to work in our governmental agencies for the same reason. Legal status and citizenship are NOT the same.

Took me 6 years, ridiculous amount of fees, pass a test and interview just to become a citizen. And these illegals come here and get free housing and help from the government while the legal immigrants had to work our butts off just to afford to pay for the process to become citizens so yeah, its unfair and honestly pisses me off too.

Keep them OUT!!! When I had to come here, about 35 years ago, I had to wait and pass through a lot of tests,due to my military background in Europe. That was the right way; and of course, I had to have a high level of education.

Egypt is very diverse and have light and dark ethnic Egyptians but it’s getting annoying that black people who can easily take a DNA test will show they are not from Northern Africa (Egypt). Medicare sucks! Even as a privileged white person having just moved cities not province and after 3 years and 2 cancers I still don't have access to a family doctor. Forget about any tests or diagnoses because you are told you need to have a family doctor to have access. People die of curable diseases here more than in many other developed countries. My in law US veteran spend around 10 years dealing with Veterans Affair to get his retirement fullfill then last minute they demand him to take a drug test ; imagine in ten years been poor he would of end up doing. There are walk in clinics, urgent care centers and emergency hospitals. \nHere you were treated according to the urgency of your situation. It's called triage. If you are fine your doctor will send you home rather than pay for unnecessary test. However if you have a legitimate medical issue or strong family history of serious medical issues your doctor will order will order testing. When that testing will be done depends on the urgency of the situation.\nFor example: It took 2 weeks to get a lump biopsy, results came back with cancer cells, surgery wait time was 3 days. If I needed a hip/knee replacement I'd be waiting 3 months. The emphasis is on preventive medicine.

I'm from Canada. My friend had a heart attack on a ski hill. He was promptly given a full bypass surgery, recovered in hospital and discharged. No charge. That would be a life ending event in the US, if not by dying from the heart attack, from financial devastation. I have always been treated well and thoroughly tested when needed. I would NEVER consider supporting privatization. I was quoted $400.00 US when in Hawaii for a round of penicillin. Here $15.00 Canadian

As someone from Belgium that now lives in Columbus OH because of marriage, you're spot on with everything. Safety? Limited. Sprawl? Terrible. Rent? Eh it's not that bad. I make a base salary of $82.5k and my wife makes $50k. Our 2br 1ba apartment's rent is about $1000. It's a nice place, but it has some flaws. Our next place will be around $1500. I've told my wife I don't like the sprawl and lack of public transport here and I want to move to a place where that is less of an issue: Chicago, NYC or Boston. However, the latter two have crazy high rent.\n\nI must add, the terribly unsupported public education system in Columbus is by far the worst reason. My wife is a teacher at a Columbus City School that's almost 100% black. White families put their kids through private schools. The rest of the kids have terrible home lives and are therefore incredibly ill-behaved and under-educated. So much so that the teachers just CANNOT keep up with Ohio's learning standards. By the time these kids graduate (and that's a big IF), they would have learned about 20% of what a regular 18-year old would have learned in most of the world. This is in part due to:\n1. Parents that do not involve themselves in what their children do, and therefore do not discipline appropriately.\n2. Terrible school admins that force teachers to lower their standards to have a high passing rate for the school (otherwise it gets shut down). Also, due to the No Child Left Behind Act, admins also force teachers to teach how to pass state tests (repetitive bullshit) instead of important learning materials and/or critical thinking skills.\n3. A lot of these students are pushed into the gang lifestyle and see no future in their education. They don't even try.\n4. Burned out teachers that grew tired of the negative ROI and start giving out poor and inadequate work packets. However, I don't like blaming teachers, especially because my wife is the hardest working person I know.\n\nIt's hard to see my wife come back every day, exhausted. It pains me both for her and her kids. America doesn't give a fuck about education. The big theory is that they're purposely not giving public schools attention so they can be phased out and private education becomes the norm. And if you can't afford it? That's great, we need factory workers.\n\n\nI might convince my wife to move to Europe eventually (luckily a European marriage visa isn't as stupidly hard to obtain as it was for me to get here). To each his own because i have had horrible experiences in Canada. During covid lock down , i went to visit my sister and missed my flight twice because of difficulties with getting a covid test. There was a whole long line just to get a damn test. Here in America there's a CVS everywhere. \nI also did not like the food there too much. After buying food from a local restaurant i knew my home cooked food would have turned out better. \n My sister gave birth and bought a sofa around the time she just put to birth. The guy doing the delivery left the couch at the door after i begged him to help us as my sister just had a c-section and could not lift heavy stuff-he refused and i was just shocked. In America people would gladly help if you needed help.\nLast month i sent my sister a Christmas gift through UPS and when it arrived Canada, they returned it to me after i paid to clear it at customs.\nI would never want to go to Canada again.

As a Canadian, I hate both Canada and America. Also the tap water sucks in both places. Remove the fluoride for God sakes... \nAlso the amount of cocaine, antidepressants and microplastics in the water should worry you. Person living in South Korea here ??‍♀️and contemplating between moving to either USA or Canada! So this was interesting! I tested the waters and traveled to the USA last year! They both made good points, food isn’t that great but the people are so sweet and inviting. I was scared because of what I usually see on the news but I didn’t experience any of the horrible things I read, but then again I was very cautious.

Great video guys I really enjoyed it. I wish I knew how many different towns you guys have really tested the tap water up there, because in the US the tap water changes drastically depending on where you go, in California they import a lot of their water so it travels a long way from the source, and it has to be treated, usually with chemicals, to keep it safe to drink. But there are many places where you can get better tasting water if its somewhere that doesnt import, and doesnt have heavy treatment for the water. Even in california it can chance from town to town, I know I lived in Dublin, CA for a while and they have such fresh tasting water but if you go just a couple towns over it taste nasty again. Also apartments are notorious for having worse tasting water cause it has to go through all sorts of plumbing to get up to your floor and that can effect it. Anyways Thanks guys, peace
