Donald Trump and smart doesn't match.

I am an American and Canada I don’t want this either. But you need to do what needs to be done and I support that!! You go Canada! I did not vote for Trump, and I want Trump to fail, because if he doesn’t, I will lose my right to vote. Trump has never been held accountable for his actions! He needs to be arrested for treason and terrorism.

Is Trump’s performance in the Oval Office really what the GOP equates to strength? Kicking our ally while they’re down, who’s been fighting one of our supposedly greatest adversaries who invaded their country? Berating him for not wearing a suit, or not being grateful enough, or being too hateful to the man who invaded his country and kidnapped Ukraine’s children? If this is strength, why doesn’t he treat Putin this way? It’s only weaker allies where he pounds his chest. Bully. Coward.

Donald doesn’t care too much about facts , he just talks mostly BS and if he’s corrected will stamp his feet and have a big baby meltdown. The best current example is Ukraine. I will disagree with one of Justin’s points , Donny is not a very smart guy, he just says he is which is the last thing that smart people will say.

I grew up hearing lots of hate bout USA cuz the US doesn't exactly have a good rep in foreign policies - always bullying other nations, starting wars for oil etc. but I've always preferred USA not just for the world order it brings, it allows different voices, criticism & scolding towards its leaders compared to China, Russia & North Korea. \n\nin the US, you can talk bad bout politicians in power, or probably make movies bout these kind of things like US invading other countries for oil, or testing out some cruel AI military robots on humans (movie name: Monsters of Man), & you won't be persecuted. but after looking at a bunch of executive orders Trump has signed, the way he (& JD Vance) treated Zelenski & Canada, I don't know if I still feel the same bout USA anymore.\n\nif USA doesn't wanna continue spending on Ukraine, perhaps USA shouldn't have sweet talked Ukraine into denuclearization thru the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. that's what you get for mendling with other countries' affairs. by stopping US aid & wanting a new mineral deal, Trump's refusing to follow the Memorandum (I added this sentence thru edit as I can't reply to the comment below).\n\nunderstandably, US & UK don't need to deploy troops in Ukraine as the security assurance in the memorandum wasn't clearly defined, but it also didn't mention that Ukraine should pay the US back financially, nor any mineral concessions. \n\nTrump always wanting a purely 1 sided deal will only isolate USA from more allies.

Trump and Putin both want and need Canada for the simple reason of the Arctic melts. Ships can now travel that pass. Trump is known, and I'm surprised the media doesn't bring it up, to have financial ties to Russia as an American citizen even well before 2016. Zelensky also stated that Americans will bleed for his country. Why would anyone defend this blatant hatred. President Trump has tried to give Zelensky what he needs not what he wants. As a US citizen, I apologize on behalf of this corrupt administration. I certainly didn't vote for the ??, and I'm not sure how anyone could have... yet, here we are. Half of the US certainly deserves it, and I fully understand the need for extreme measures at this point. What he did to Zelenskyy and what he is doing to our allies...yall do what ya gotta do. Half of us are rooting for Canada, Ukraine, and our allies. Idk what's wrong with the other half, but its shameful to say the least. It was never about fentanyl. Trump doesn't give half of a fuck if people die from fentanyl or otherwise.

I’m in Seattle and have a vacation home in British Columbia so go there often while renting out other days to other people. Wonder how the tariffs gonna affect this. For example if certain things need to be remodeled in my pad over in BC I usually order from suppliers in USA near the border since I use them for my home in Seattle too. I’m guessing it might get taxed now. Not sure how it will play out. I do know that initially tariffs gonna effect lot of people but do believe in general it will get economy better. I recently saw that Mexico been adding tariffs for years for certain USA goods (for example appliances purchased in usa from Mexico will cost another 27% etc) and it’s time for USA do similar things. Just hoping my burrito cost doesn’t keep going up. Was around 8$ several years back and now it’s 14$ in Seattle ?

You notice how the ex Prime Minister doesn’t mention that this is a reciprocal tariff Canada charges us 25% for anything in the US export to them and some farm items they refuse to allow in their country!
