I don’t agree with Quebec as a whole being up so high on the list. They have their own tax and medical system , much higher cost. You must have your children in a unilingual French School unless you have substantial proof that they have a solid English background. English speakers for the most part are ostracized in most of Quebec except some areas of Montreal. All government work places speak only French and there are no English rights in Quebec unless you work for the government of Canada and then good luck getting a job in Quebec as they are designated a unilingual French language speaking province for Canadian government jobs and you won’t qualify unless you speak and read and write French. All signage is restricted to French and the province doesn’t follow any international standards. Even the air traffic controllers only speak French which is why most major airlines don’t fly into Quebec as the standard of language for them is English world wide except Quebec. They have different road rules, tax legislation and pension than the rest of Canada. Wouldn’t want to live there myself. I have a sister in Montreal. Don’t know why she stays.

The reason people leave Canada within first 20 years is they do not have sizable retirement fund to enjoy comfortable retirement life after retirement. The reason half of that leave within 1 year is they cannot afford to live decently here until they find a job in their field or it takes many years before they start making a professional career and seeing the plight of immigrants of their community struggling in menial low paying jobs living in dorm rooms. Just giving a job to immigrant is not enough, they must be able to sustain those jobs for reasonable periods of time. This is where Canada ls lagging. There's cases in this episode where they assumed racism without proof like the Best Buy for example. It's very suspicious to be browsing around for 15 minutes unless you're in a game or movie section. Shoplifters usually stall before attempting a theft and usually do buy one or two things as to not arouse suspicion.

For a work visa you need a job offer first, you need proof of income and most of the time the employer will have to prove they couldn’t find an American to take the position. To get a green card you either have to get married to an American, invest at least $500,000 or try applying for asylum (which is almost impossible to get nowadays). ALSO to apply for asylum you need to be either inside the US or at a US port of entry. Try to be less “patriotic” and more empathetic. People flee their countries because of war, violence, cartels, gangs, terrorism, etc. They are desperate and want to protect their families and have a better life. If you were in their shoes and staying in your home country put your family in great harm you would have done the same thing. People need to stop judging, stop being selfish and start leading with empathy.
