I don't hate Indians. I am an avid supporter of immigration. My problem is the government allowed too many people to come too fast. It puts many newcomers in an unfortunate situation, but unfortunately many will have to leave until we can fix this housing problem. Maybe try again in another 10 years.

I'm not sure if it's students or temp workers or immigration on general bit there has been a huge rise in the number of people from India working at our big bix stores, gas stations, fast food.... like 3 out of 4 new workers are recent imports ... its just kinda crazy and unsustainable really.

At many of the retail or fast food stores, the entirety of the staff is Indian. That is confusing to me, because is there nobody else applying for these jobs?

The unemployment rate is to high! Fast food and retail have raised their prices while paying less wages. Kids cant get jobs. Im a psw in home care and i lost hours to TFW because of the wage differences. Now I cant pay my bills because of TFW. The companies are pushing Canadians out and keeping wages low. Its not just agricultural and food production. Its being used in all sectors. The government has already identified tons of fraud.

International students should come just to study not to work, if they can pay the universities fees, they should be able to pay for their bills. Foreign workers are need in some jobs, for example: agriculture, housekeeping, or skilled workers are ok too but we can see every store, fast food shops full of Filipinos and Indians, and they’re like mafias, once a Filipino is a manager, they mostly hire Filipinos and same with Indians. My daughter and her friends have been applying for a part time job in Tim’s, McDonalds, a&w, Walmart and other grocery stores and barely get a interview and never hired?, ahh but my daughter’s Filipino friends are all working ?, some of them where their parents work?

What's not being addressed is how temporary foreign workers were once relegated to to agricultural and fisheries work but are working for many exploitive employers who care about nothing more than having the lowest payroll, mainly fast-food and retail. These are entry-level jobs that many Canadians needed to survive but are being undercut by foreign cheap labor. Birthing tourism, drugs brought into Canada by Asian cartels resulting in soaring housing prices, illegal Asian migrants from USA who cross the Peace Arch border looking like tourists, bring in tens of millions of immigrants who don't meet immigration criteria, build an international school for Japanese students since the 1990s...and when jobs are at a low and you need to speak Mandarin and Cantonese as a job requirement and the housing is bursting at the seams, you blame the new vulnerable immigrants working at fast food restaurants to explain why you need to speak Mandarin and Cantonese for job.

Most of them were exploited . They had class only for two days and in the remains 5 days they worked in fast food chains for minimum wage. They came here not for the quality of education, but for PR. Most of them kept their house as collateral and took loan from bank. How will they pay it ? It will take some 10 years to pay the loan in Indian salaries. Imagine you take loan which take 10 years of your life for repayment and you learned how to make pizza. It’s so cruel.

Trudeau must step down. I'm speaking as a black person. Majority of the hiring department is field by Indians, therefore, they are only hiring Indians. Canada's Govt is finally waking up.. If Canada wants to save itself, it needs to act fast. It's stupid immigration policies in the past will haunt it for years.

In the last 4 years I have been nearly hit by Indian immigrant drivers who do not obey traffic laws in Ontario. I have met drivers driving the wrong way on way streets Indian, Drivers making illegal U turns and nearly hitting me Indian, drivers who change lanes in the middle of intersection Indian, every time my phone rings there is an Indian pretending to be CRA, or Amazon trying to scam money. Every fast food place is staffed by Indians who barely speak English can't be understood and fuck up the order. I have Indian customer ask me to break the law and carry more passengers than there are seat belts in my van I am tired of it I am tired having to compete against international students who come here on student visa's to study at some scam diploma mill college but not go to any classes and drive Uber. I am tired of having to play by the rules and compete with people who say fuck the rules. So don't let the door hit you fuckers on the way out.

Listen I have nothing against Indians. The problem is this. This is our country. You come here and take our youths jobs, take our housing and healthcare. Also I am going to be very honest at fast food places like Tim Hortons and KFC as I have had these experiences they are rude to women. I am 63 years old and have been smirked at by two young Indians at Tim Hortons because I complained they got my order wrong. Another time at KFC my granddaughter who is 9 asked for something and they treated her rudely she started to cry. We don’t want you here. Go home with your education you get from our country and use it. We don’t need your people here without going through the proper immigration process. I find you are ignorant rude and not nice people. It’s very unfortunate when I go into a restaurant or fast food and feel out of place in my country. Time to end it time to leave stay home we have enough problems. The problem is that even though India's GDP is growing at a very fast rate but still the GDP per capita is very low. Even in 2050 India will probably become a middle income country though it's difficult too. Even though India will be 2nd in PPP and 3rd in nominal but probably still our gdp per capita will be low.

All need to be deported. It was all too fast and most are just scamming the whole system.

In Canada, it was way too many, way too fast. All of a sudden there were tens of thousands Indians everywhere and it freaked out Canadians. They were dominating low skill jobs which blocked young Canadians and students from employment, and cost the tax payer millions/billions in subsidized income and welfare for foreign workers. The Liberal government are idiots and incompetent at running the country, and now Trudeau is backpaddling to try to fix what he has broken. There have always been Indian migrants to Canada, but they must enter the proper way to apply for citizenship in manageable numbers. Indians must also understand that temporary workers and students does not mean you are Canadian citizens, and you will have to return home when your visa expires.

I came to Canada 18 years ago from South Asia and work really hard to be in a position where I’m now. I’m not opposed to the immigrant anyway but why almost all the immigrants will come from a particular region? I don’t even recognize this country anymore. Canadian morales are down. So many people came so fast instead of learning Canadian value they are imposing south asian problem in Canadian society. People in South Asia laugh at Canada, and called Canadian govt cute and innocent cause they believe what every temp/student put their application and blindly bring them in Canada. I know thousands of ppl came to Canada by tourist visa and then stay in Canada. Govt even giving them monthly allowance. And I’m paying thousands of dollars in tax. Basically I’m in the same level of a person who do not pay tax but enjoy all the luxury in Canada. It’s a fault of This govt.
