First teach your kids to atleast complete high school. The statistics of white kids dropping out of high school is so high and yet they complain of stealing jobs. quebec health care system paid for a least invasive radiotherapy in philadelphia for 3 months because it gave my 5 years old nephew a better chance at a normal life had he survived. The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. I've lived here 6 years and can't wait to leave. Salaries are just enough to get by. I work full-time as an analyst and am looking for a minijob just to save money, which I already live quite modestly. It's easy to come across nasty unfriendly people, neighbors, service people, people in government agencies. I hate people staring in the most unfriendly manner or givng attitude for no reason other than they are nasty people. Don't get me wrong, there are nice people as well, but the bad experiences outweigh the good. Beauracracy is overbearing, personalities are underwhelming, the food scene is underwhelming, learning German is a big burden when you work a full-time job (and now I need a minijob too??). The country seems like it wants to diminish the human spirit and ambition. I definitely regret moving here. Many housing companies are over charging rent. I found out the company, Deutschewohnen, who owns my apartment was overcharging me by nearly double!! I had to go through a year long court procession to get them to lower it to the legal price which I won. And now they sent me a letter last month saying they are raising my rent, which is illegal and I have to go through ANOTHER court battle with them. Of course it is exhausting to try and find another apartment. Some people search up to a year. What a joke. And not to mention the dating scene. I've been single the entire 6 years and I'm quite an outgoing, friendly, loveable person. Dating Germans comes with own weird experiences and I refuse to give them a chance anymore, for my own mental health. If you're POC, it's not uncommon to come across strange sexualizations and general lack of understanding other's cultures. A couple years ago I was attacked by 8 men while walking home at night. I spent years learning German, traveled throughout Germany, took courses in Germany to get up to between the B1/2 level, have a college degree, look German, German heritage… and was consistently treated like I didn’t belong and shouldn’t stay. With the skills and certifications I’ll have at the end of my graduate education, I will be able to make 2-3x as much in my home country as I could in Germany with fewer taxes and lower home prices. Why would anyone other than a low-skilled worker with few options ever want to move to Germany? The US, Canada, the UK, and even France are far better destinations for skilled workers, and yet the German bureaucracy still acts like every Italian and Turk has nothing better to do than learn German and work at a VW factory in Stuttgart.\n\nReally, Germany and the Germans just don’t get it, and at this point I doubt they ever will. They didn’t even want the Russlanddeutsch back after the end of the Cold War.

In Australia. Australia is not too far behind. Housing crisis.. extremely expensive. In Sydney we can’t afford even a studio. 5 ppl Sharing a house. Pay for every food delivery anywhere between 2 to 5 AUD. Any dish you order is minimum 18 AUD so a dinner for 2 is at least 40 AUD even at places like McDonald’s. Groceries are monopolised and they charge very high.. even 3 days of groceries will cost you between 50 to 80. And forget healthcare. It’s so expensive that we pray we don’t fall sick. The doctors too don’t give you real advise. Just prescribe tests blindly without analysing ur symptoms. In India if you find a good doctor, they will save u from getting too many tests. Ppl are depressed and are suffering from many mental illnesses. No sense of community. The only reason why we are here is to save up as much as we can. We are struggling, living in shared apartments in a small room.. we came here with a job without any money spent from our end and the only Reason it works is cz we are saving up for India and when we send money to family it’s cheaper due to currency exchange. We cannot afford the same lifestyle as India with our whole family here.

I am Spanish and I am currently working and residing in Germany. And I can affirm that the same racism or discriminatory attitude that many complain about is also projected onto other immigrants. In my work there are Pakistanis who form groups among themselves and do not want to know anything about the rest, they are an example. I have also seen this attitude in some Turks, who show off their cars to each other and behave in really fearful attitudes and driving.\nSo far the Germans I have dealt with, whether at the bank, my landlady or even the one I bought the car I have from, have treated me very well. Another thing is that as an immigrant who arrived 9 months ago, unfortunately I have not made any German friends my age (20 - 30s).

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

Quater is even better especially for nurses. You can secure a job as a nurse in quater but in Egypt everyone will work as a slave ( doing cleaning and nanny jobs) with loads of other unpaid jobs on top of $400-500/ months. I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Thay Indian lady that said she works immigration IS THE PROBLEM. As a born and raised Canadian. 2 weeks ago i started a new job. I was working with only Filipinos. My background is El Salvador so im kinda dark. So was going ok. Then i tell that cock sucker that was training me. That I'm salvi but Canadian born. That's mistake 1 talking my fault. But i go home and i get fired for a list of bullshit that never happened. Even an Indian walked by and said to my lead. 'Is that another one of your cousins?' As soon as i said Canadian that was the trigger word and when things went wrong. And btw not only Indian invasion. But is no one gonna talk about the Filipinos too? Growing up in Jane area was only Salvis, Jamaicans, Whites and Chinese. No Filipinos nor indian in my class or other jk classes. Born and rasied in Toronto left Toronto for like 13 years moved to Sarnia, Leamington and Windsor ontario. But i came back in May. Barely see Hispanics, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans on ttc. Just like 80% Indian and Filipinos. Not just India. I have nothing against Filipinos. But a lot are just hella arrogant and have 0 manners.

I am from the Balkans. I have been studying, living and working abroad since I was 18. Germany was the 7th country I moved to and the first country ever I felt unwelcomed at work- because of my Balkan origins. I must say I was rather shocked because being a very open, international professional with lots of experience, I thought something of this kind would never be even imaginable. However, outside of my work field I gained many german friends pretty quickly - friends for life ( no competition here, haha). 10 years later, I am still here and the situation changed to better - a lot. A mix of getting trust, learning the language, and getting more international colleagues. I am totally thankful to the health system - they saved my life. If I stayed in my country, I would have had serious health issues. I am thankful to the democracy, freedom of expressing, schooling system( so much better than in my times in Yugoslavia), salaries, and many other things Germany gave me. I am living a good life, best life any of my family members had in generations. I would like to stay here as long as it feels good for me and my family. Having a german father to my kids is however the strongest link to me feeling home in Germany -having a local within your family makes it all a lot easier.

Live and Work in Hamilton, Whitby or outside of Toronto, I've been to Canada. There is always a solution. House prices in Hamilton are mid $500K up. Doable even if you work in downtown Toronto 1 hour travel read a book or watch a movie on train or bus

Being the reason why i left the country right after 6 months, truly horrifying when it comes to saving and studying, finding part time jobs in well known provinces is hell, even after you get the job, you won't get enough hours to save up for the upcoming year for your tuitions, you cannot do both at the same time, you either study or work, there's no point in dragging yourself for the specific period of time you're there for and end up driving either a uber or looking for tradework.
