The reason is that some Indian finds it difficult to integrates.\n\n I know one Indian lady that have lived in one country for over 20 years and the lady cannot speak the language of that country. Here is an idea. New immigrants cannot buy one way flights. Their return flight cost is averaged on the high end, payed and held by the government and can only be redeemed on a return home flight with an expired visa.

It is not just the number of students, it is the quality of the students. Majority of these students are not top notch or the ones who will integrate well into society. Most of the schools accepting students in Canada and Australia are businesses run by former immigrants to these countries, who saw the business opportunity of charging people to give them admissions to low quality un-ecreditted schools, which they run themselves. Then in the midde of the school years they will push students to apply for immigration or refugee status. Everyone knows what the scam is but the governments are not addressing it. I am pro immigration but the systems have changed (broken) from what they used to be 20/30 years ago.

In all the news coverage you seem to see over representation from one particular state in India. I wonder why? I was born in Canada and my family was from the Caribbean and were brown. Learned Canadian history from our first PM John a McDonald, Wilfred Laurier, learned French. We were hoping Quebec did not separate from Canada. Our whole family is loyal to one country and that is Canada only. The small minority of Indians have destroyed what made us Canada. Playing Punjabi music downtown at Yonge Dundas that never happened. These punjabis are deliberately travelling from Brampton to dance at Yonge Dundas to shove their music in our face. Even my Indian friends who were born here want all Indian immigrants gone they are pissed off. Deport the low skill Indian immigrants and the ones who defrauded the system, the slumlords who exchange rent for sex and the human trafficking.

Diversity of newcomers made this country good, but now it is just concentrated. Toronto Union station was filled with Indians crossing the track like this is New Delhi..., like they brought their chaos straight into another country. None of us other immigrants from diff nations have brought this kind of behavior without adapting.\n\nAnd for the sake of goodness, if one needs to wear so many layers and walk around the closed space of malls.... wearing deodorant is like common sense and is the basic etiquette for public life in Canada. i think deporting them is gonna be too costly and cause a lot of tension with the us and other countries, not to mention cruel for the people who managed to build a life for themselves only to have it taken away, and also might cause a recession because of the millions of jobs they used to hold being vacant suddenly.\ni think it would be a much better cheaper diplomatic and realistic move for the use to use its massive and already existing and funded military to lock down the border at essentially no added cost, and strictly deport any one who slips through after that lock down, the immigrants who are already inside aren't gonna be a problem so long as they're the last ones who ever get through. thats what i want my country the uk to do, a lockdown so no more hopefuls can get in, because as much as all the immigrants in my country don't deserve to be here, i recognise how much pain it would cause them to be deported after so long in this country. and since they're already here i say no harm in letting them stay as long as no more come.

There are many skilled immigrants here - yet they are not considered for job opportunities other than lower-level jobs. It’s quite tough, and one must be really patient.

As a Canadian PR holder, the immigration system is broken. The fact that people who can't speak English, with criminal backgrounds and unqualified individuals can come in and stay while I had to wait 2 years for background checks and a 8.5 IELTS score, is insane. It shows that qualified workers aren't wanted but rather just get as many people from only one single country in the name of multiculturalism. Another thing which attracted me to Canada was the chance to experience different cultures but all I see are Indians and especially immigrants who don't want to integrate because Trudeau is happy with that and they bring their countries' domestic problems to Canada (read Gaza idiots and Khalistanis)

Every country has immigration law. No one is above the law or below the law. What is wrong with temporary stay and student visa has to go home? Go back to India if you are India citizens. Lots of problematic reasons. 1.. Labor shortages are temporary but immigration is permanent. 2.. Extraordinary lax in selection for students. One can easily gauge student quality by asking for common standardized scores available in India. Canada took in so many poor quality students that the whole system is collapsing. 3..
