If you wanna be successful, you most take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. My heart breaks when the social worker would pressure me to discharge frail, sickly aging pts within nte 48 hour time frame bec medicare wont cover them and they are not eligible forrehab facilities as their status are observationinstead if inpatients while the non-citizens can just drop their chronically ill family members bec they cant take care if them as they are all working. They wont even claim them bec they are “busy”.\nThey can just do whatever they want as they dont have to worry about paying for hospital bills or have credit companies go after them. We are also taking care of their US born children but they are not paying taxes. Our co’untry is in the brink if bankruptcy bec of misplaced sympathy. If we really want to help these people, give them work visa so they can be legal and taxable, or better help their countries to help with drug wars, etc. We cannot sustain these kind of unconditional financial bleed for so long. Before we know it, the whole population outside the Us, have transplanted themselves here for free and without fiscal responsibilities.

Take a good hard look at what drug users are doing to these people. Cartels have taken over Mexico and many south of the border countries. Look into the avocado market as one example. If they don't pay the cartels they and their families are m****d. In many cases farms are stolen right from under their feet along with everything else they own. They live in constant fear of brutal violence, many are forced into being drug mules. The police and their governments are in on the take so there is nothing they can do. Illegal drug use keeps this industry going. Start taking responsibility. It's not just about you.

As A Hispanic now Canadian citizen living here for 32 years what Canadians fear is a person of visible minority with more experience, education, multi language abilities which bring Their Racism Prejudicial Behavior in the open. As someone who was an international student in Canada, failed and came back, I’m surprised to see this. What were these people expecting? If you can’t afford to send your child to an international college, don’t do it. If you have to take a loan and put everything you have at risk. If your kids are supposed to work to cover their expenses. How tf is a teenager supposed to work AND study at the same time, living in a foreign country alone, having no one close. It’s the families responsibility to do their research, what does the country has to do with poor financial decisions of a certain group of people? I watched the first 9 minutes only, though.

Whe you're in a different country, the responsibility is yours to know or find out what the laws of the land are. You cannot expect a whole nation of others to suddenly become educated about your religious practices and make way for you . If they do, that great, but it's not their responsibility. Also, having a weapon on you in an environment where others don't will put them at unease and also give you the advantage over them, in case of an altercation. How do they know if you are mentally sane or not and that you will not suddenly use it on them. Most Sikhs are wonderful and very caring people and I'm even sitting with one as I write this, but it's best we keep our religious practices to ourselves and not be in anyone's face with it, especially in a country where people are not so aware of other cultures. If he had to wear it for religious purposes, its his responsibility to have informed the university( which he may have) , but also to insist that they inform everyone else and the police of it, so as to not raise any tensions.

as a Canadian born and bread I am sadden to hear the challenges of new comers but there are a couple pieces of advice I can offer. even Canadians have to build references at adulthood. there are ways to start out. volunteering provides not only references but a sense of contribution and and community. educators and agencies you engage with as do religious institutions and any organizations you may come evolve with for references. as far as the climate dress in\n layers, invest in sturdy boots with good tread in the colder months and to get outside and learn not only to embrace but enjoy the colder months. hike the trails. the trails year round. you can pick up a cheap pair of grippers for your boots in the sporting goods department of any Canadian tire. pick up a cheap toboggan and slide down a hill. snowshoeing after a fresh fallen snow requires endurance but very little skill. its lovely how quiet how still and silent the woods are in the winter. how bright and visible the winter landscape is at night and how lush and green the woods in summer. if in Ontario definitely visit the falls. you can find culture and history in both Montreal and Quebec especially old Quebec. most people in both are bilingual in French and English and even a word or two of French is appreciated and you can be sure of a response in English.youd also be surprised at how possible it is to communicate even with a language barrier. if you are close to Toronto, you can explore many different cultures in both neighborhoods and events. To me the biggest problem of people of African origin is not racism. Infact if you called a child who knows colours very well and ask that child to mention the skin colours of that panel there will be brown, pink and barge. I look at this title: Muslims in Canada: Anti-Islamic sentiment a growing concern, and I look at the thumbnail photo of 2 muslim women w/ their face fully covered then I watch this interview w/ them talking through all that cloth that's smothering their face w/ just their eyes peeping out and yes, I'm growing more concerned all the time. I'm sane. Concern is the only sane response to people walking around w/ their faces covered in public. It's dangerous, it's a total culture clash, it's creepy and unsettling as heck and it's totally anti social. You can't normalize this.

Continue resting it importance, and viktor orban's salvini's ideas will be justified for the ignorant public (the same you profit of). You populist left politically correct people are responsible for the expansion of the radical and populist rigth. We'll see how it ends, and the inmigrants (the only one group who have not guilt except the sharia pieceof shit radicals xd) will be the most damaged group (non your populist left proud or the archaic thinking of the extreme rigth)

If you really listen to this presentation, it is telling us that Trudeau is responsible for misinforming people with encouragements like just come to Canada and you'll be let in.

I realize that some people are asses....that will never end. But the term racism is thrown around way too much. First of all, it’s tribalism and it’s a normal part of being human. Any thing that is ‘other’ or different will be viewed with suspicion and or dislike. It will never be stopped, it can’t be educated away and it can’t be made to go away by immersing people in multiculturalism. Think back to when you were a child even...seeing someone who was handicapped would make you wary of them. Now, when those normal perceptions cause you to treat someone bad or as a lesser person is when it becomes a problem. That CAN be educated away. But to attempt to make people feel bad because of there responses to the faces on the computer is ridiculous. EVERYONE, regardless of race, will have tendencies towards tribalistic thinking.
