The whole world is like that. Its a bubble that will explode one day. When the world ends ( wich by the looks of WW3) its should end soon and we will all rest.

The funny part about this whole thing is none of the neighbouring states want to take in the Palestinians. This has been said on many different news medias including Al Jazeera. I just asked myself why? Why aren’t they taking anyone in like the millions that were taken in by Europe and the rest of the world over the years. Such countries like Britain, France, Germany,Italy, Canada and Sweden just to name a few.

In my opinion, if more people left Canada, it would reduce the load on housing , health , education and nature. 17% in 20 years is a drop in the bucket. we need more people to leave. The whole world needs a reduction in population to save this beautifull planet from certain doom..

It's 100% true. International students are being exploited for tuition money and GIC money. Students have taken huge loans from their home country expecting that they will be able to get jobs and pay off their debt but since last 1 year students are jobless. We are failing to get menial labor jobs. Inflation and rent are sky high and our GIC money is not enough to survive here. I myself sleep hungry sometimes as I don't have enough money to buy food after paying rent. I think if they can't give us jobs and affordable housing, canada should stop calling itself a developed first world country. We should call out the whole system for keeping international students in inhumane conditions.

I visited Toronto in 1986 and I've had friends from that city. The whole world is changing and facing the issues you mentioned in your video. I had lived in Seattle before its decline. I'm in Pittsburgh temporarily and I had lived recently in Erie, PA. They all seem to be facing the same situation--housing crisis, homelessness, and crime. And in Pittsburgh, limited social services.\n\nHowever, I'm sad to see a socialist country such as Canada suffer with these ills. If a socialist country can't take care of its people, there's little home for a capitalist country like the US.

This is why limits to immigration is important. Simply can't take in the whole world without consequences.

The whole country has changed and not for the better. Not a country to immigrate to that’s for sure. Wages have fallen so far behind, that the younger generation is struggling to make ends meet. Hope is becoming increasingly fleeting,and crime increasing. The rich are getting richer and the rest are falling behind. On track for third world status appears inevitable at this rate. I think first of all, we have to understand that we had been living in a peaceful world for the past few decades in contrast with the world just after world war two, and every young people had been living in comfort during their whole life. The last few years had changed, and if the world leaders didn't control the situation very carefully, we might be living in a world war not surprisingly. The inflation we are having is worldwide as a result of the pandemic, and because we have this rising inflation, the world had changed, it would have been worst if there is a world war going on at the moment. So this high cost of living is happening everywhere, and some places are even worst if they are having a war. If you think Canada is bad, name a place that is better than Canada and live there. I doubt if you can find another place better than Canada even with all your complaints. Do more research and you will appreciate that you are one of the lucky ones living in Canada. If you do not agree, I invite you to make another video telling me your findings. We are just in a bad cycle, just wait till the cycle ends, and we will see the sun shining again.

The whole world is being squeezed into conforming.

The economic situation int the whole world is still worse and getting worser. If people alredy settled to cannada with their family for some time and already build their life, they should face the situation. for such a group of people it´s still not easy to leave and rebuild theier life again. It need much ressources and flexibility. especially for families. For those who stand allone, there are also no guarantue that it brings satisfaction. every country has his pro and cons. So it´s not an easy decision for everybody. So think of the pros and cons of the destination first, before leaving.

This is pretty funny. I'm Canadian and my best friend is an economist working for the government on demographic issues full time. Just has an FYI canada has seen its highest immigration rate in the past 50 years last year. I can also see and feel all the immigrants moving in the job market. I'm not so sure why those videos keep being produced. This country is not perfect but it's better than many other places in the world. For example, canada is barely affected by climate change because we already have resilient infrastructure. When it comes to housing it's not so much that the governement does not allow for more building than the fact that it's hard to build affordable homes because the homes in canada require a lot of work due to the nature of the climate. (Has a trained carpenter and GC I know.) It's also very far from all of the world's chaos. All those emerging wars will affect Europe directly but all we get are some small economic backlashes. Anyhow, I've been living here for my whole 31 years of life and I've enjoyed the place and its peace. What I dislike is the cold and the lack of sun. I was born in North York in 1955. Used to be the cleanest city in North America. Beautiful, modern, safe. Now, I'll be blunt. to parrot a phrase from Trump, it's a SHITHOLE of a city. Nothing but condos, you can't even see the lake anymore. Every 6 months when I go downtown from Aurora there another 30 condos being built. Often owned by foreigners with lots of money, who buy up 3-5 units at a time. Parking and traffic are impossible. Green spaces like Allen Gardens are now owned by homeless, not the taxpayers. The government is a far left leaning one, which means let the whole world in, no matter if there are no services, driving up debts by increased spending, and resulting in a place only the very rich can now afford to buy a house or pay rent for a tiny crummy one bedroom unit. I even give up free Leaf tickets when I'm offered, it's just not worth the aggravation of traffic and tons of people. Good luck!!!

To be fair, a lot has changed during and after COVID. It's not only in Toronto or Canada in general. The whole world is experiencing inflation. We have 2 major wars . Crime rate everywhere has gone up too.

People think that's Toronto's problem, the fact is, the whole world became more expensive after COVID-19. You won't find any place on Earth reasonably priced. Turkish apartments went up 300% in price, and Top European countries - same picture. Only Asia is still somewhere cheap, but prices went up there as well. People blame their governments, but the fact is, the whole world stopped for 2 years, and we got consequences.

Canada is not one place - 2 nd biggest country in the world in area, with 13 totally different province's, one area code in the GTA has more population then Western Canada, so one cant paint a single brush stroke to talk about Canada. At present time the whole world is going through changes, look at USA - globalization is changing, look at England dropping out of EU. One cant just say Canada like its one place, Quebec, BC and Alberta have nothing in common, three different countries not one. Different issue's , cultures and languages. Watching this coming from a 3rd world country just reminds me of how privileged people in 1st world countries are. \nYes, people have all the right to be mad/upset about all of these issues because everyone in the world should have access to a good life, but truth is: covid fucked up the entire world and all of these problems are problems 3rd worlders have been dealing with their whole lives and honestly? This is what I have been hearing from people living in Canada but then I wonder what about rest of the world. Whole global economy is in a depression there are countries suffering a lot worse than Canada. So, I think people will continue moving out of their base countries to look for employment and better life.

I’m originally from Kazakhstan but have lived all my adult life in California (21-41) and now considering moving out of state or even country. I do have still another 10 years I need to live here to accomplish a few of my career goals to live more comfortably afterwards, but in a long run this is not a place to live anymore. Even in the past 20 years I’ve lived in California I’ve witnessed economy and the whole family values goes down the drain, more homelessness, less opportunities, people are more selfish, etc. I know it is happening all around the world too but as in this video it was stated, it is much harder for me to be a practicing Muslim in an environment surrounded by non Muslims (no offense) - just the lack of mosques in my vicinity, an Islamic environment for my child, halal foods, etc. There are mosques and halal food, but I have to drive for it. I have wonderful friends, coworkers and neighbors that are non Muslim and super nice and we have great relationships. But there are oftentimes situations when I wish they understood me better like with this situation about Palestine. I think Palestine is the last drop we needed to firmly make the decision to move.

People in this whole world are dirty and love life because they think they will live forever and forget death and hell.
