My parents couldn't raise that kind of money to pay for me to study in another country, or even in my own country. Life isn't fair, but Canadians need priority to be housed in Canada. India has very good schools at affordable prices for Indians, and also very high prices for international students. I looked into studying in India and I couldn't afford it as an International student. India should re evaluate its priorities, before spending billions on space programs. India should also decide who it wants to be friends with. I am sure there are lots of good schools in Russia, who right now it prefers over the West.

Finally Canada doing right thing. No more Immigration from India.\nThese Indian student coming to Canada from study but they also does lots of illegal work to earn money. Most them scam Canadian people. It's Canadian people first.

Here in Amherst Massachusetts USA, international India students were getting food from local food bank. Now the food bank stopped the privilege of the local US senior citizens instead. guys chill. i'm indian. there was fever of going to north america during 2000-2018. when in college many students harboured that ambition. now no more. with explosion of internet in india after Jio advent, we see how life is not so glossy in west. I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Hopefully together we can fix this. Our governments are at odds, and I hate this -- they need to respectfully talk and work this out. You are good neighbours, good people, you are welcome here and have helped build Canada in so many positive ways. ?
