We are Punjabis not Indians?.\nIf you don’t agree get lost.

Ok so there's a lot of back and forth racial comments in here so I'm going out on a limb. I've been living in castlemore bramton since 2005 1st phase. It was multicultural then, which is how it should be. I grew up in Woodbridge where there were more Italians than other cultures, but I could get a job there,and I did not feel out of place. The problem that I have with Brampton is that, the Indians do not hire any other culture in their business places, from the banks straight down to the grocery stores. I would also like to keep my property value up to par and even that's becoming hard. Segregation is UNACCEPTABLE!!. It bothers me that the government is allowing this to happen. I see job postings online that's asking for Punjabi as a second language. Any job postings in Canada should have either French or English requirement, any other language(s) is a plus. This comment is based on my own experience being a resident of Brampton. Facts is facts!

बहुत दुःख की और शर्म की बात हे। Indians(Specially Punjabi's) India से US और Canada study के लिए जाते हे, फिर वही के होके रेह जाते हे, वो अपने India को miss भी नही करते। \nये Indian Government और Indian Public की हार है। \nअगर Indian Government हम Indians को अच्छे facilities, education aur Technology और Good Jobs देने में सक्षम होती तोह शायद ये सब लोग India वापस आने में रूचि रखते।\nहमारा Great India मानो या ना मानो curruption से भरा पड़ा है।\nI am proud to be Indian and love to live in India..

Indian ka bandaro ki gaad gal rahe ha Punjabis ko dakh ka

I dont mind having punjabi, Hindus and Sikhs living in brampton they're very nice people and their food is delicious, but I will say this: in all of my life living in brampton i never experienced so many issues with driving in brampton until indian immagrants migrated to this city , and because of all the car accidents and dangerous road rage, car insurance sky rocketed and now someone like me who has never been in a car collision has to pay hundreds of dollars because of their negligent driving habbits...... my point is please be safe, focus and dont be distracted when driving. Follow the rules !!?

Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. You owe it to Canada, give something back before you start taking.

No offence, but why these Indians or punjabis whatever you call your self don't take a bath ...why some of smell so stink, like seriously

We are staying now in Surrey ,B.C,canada...and place full of punjabi people...almost like mini punjab...and all types of indians products are here available

As a black man I rather live among the white than among these so called punjabis...just look how they treat each other in India, the North Indians don't want to have nothing to do with South indians all because they are a little darker...in Canada here they would rather employ only Punjabi, and no other race...if an Indian girl married a black man look how they will treat her. They would kill her and have nothing to do with her...and then you all talk about how whites are racist, oh please cry me a river....I rather live among the white people than among some of you...atleast white would employ a black man...these so called punjabis hardly ever employ a black man...if you all dont want to mix why come to canada...canada is a multi culture, please stay in India please and thanks!

Really awesome punjabi town in canada. As an INDIAN we all feel proud just because of popularity about INDIA in all over the world.

Actually they are about to change the name from indian Punjabi market to Punjabi market only coz British n Canadian parliament is about to recognise sikhs as diff ethnic group

DID YOU GUYS KNOW THE EDMONTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WILL NOT HIRE YOU UNLESS YOU ARE INDIAN OR PUNJABI! Thats a fact!! They have a deal with the Government!! Wake up.

i am of indian descent and i grew up in canada. went to elementary middle and high school and 2 universities, and i absolutely hate the fobs and people who dont want to assimilate into our society. its usually indian people. and they always want to talk in hindi or punjabi when i am not even fluent in either. fk them.
