Palestine isn’t having their land taken away, it’s Hamas who stormed into Israel. Palestine considers Israel’s land as their own and that’s why they say they don’t want their land taken away but in reality it’s Palestine who is taking land.

It is impossible to get ahead in Canada. Crazy because if I’m not mistaken the one time the Mexican people came together like this in their own country, it took them about 2-3 months of fighting and arresting cartel for them to take over their area again. 2-3 months. That’s the hope from the terrorists, that either they will flee the land and feel the terror message too strongly or that if they don’t get taken in that the Arab world is seen as backstabbers for “turning” them away. What a stupid question! Why should you call the Palestinians a weight to be forwarded to other states as refugees? They have their land and should be given their rights in their country. If you move away from your home country, it takes half the time of your actual age to understand, & get used to the country you move into. \n1) Ikea also offers assembly service for which you have to pay. \n2) home owner/landlord didn’t improve noise isolation issue of their floorings. It’s normal practice of most lazy landlords who only rents their basement for reducing their mortgage cost. Or probably didn’t even know that it is doable.\n3) Employment- I am glad to see you found a skilled workplace somewhat related to your career. If you had to go through odd jobs, you would have left Canada within a month. \n4) Hospitals- Indian Government hospitals works the same way. Priorities go to life threatening patients first. But as an ex-Indian, we love spending arms and legs of money. Our loved ones survive going in private hospitals without insurance. \n5) socializing & jokes- I think you should’ve moved to Brampton so you can be part of the ghettoized community we have created there. so what day by day their crime rates are going high, we can at least understand the joke we can laugh on there. Even to buy legal weed in Canada you have to show your ID. There is no requirement of whining about it. Well the current government wants to take our personal property away, control the media, limit our rights, make it so expensive we have to choose between putting a roof over our head or eating. What's happened to Toronto is what has happened to the world. It is unreasonable to take in the world. Look at Vancouver-- looks like a dying American city. Cities in general are a hell hole-- no longer cool, no longer safe, no longer affordable, no longer livable, declining opportunity. I lived in Toronto for 58 years and escaped to a quality environment north of the city-- the small towns I used to look down on when I felt so proud of Toronto are laughing at you now. An hour's drive away but, world's apart.

I live in a small rural Northern community, East Indian immigrants have bought out or taken over nearly every business in the community, our car wash, both grocery stores, both Hardware stores, subway, pizza place, two of the three restaurants, only motel, nearly all the rental properties, and they are shifting their investment now to homes, as we can still buy homes up here for reasonable prices, they are buying them, doing some cheap renovations, and trying to flip them for large amounts. All these local small businesses in the community used to employ young people from the community, they used to be places of employment for summer jobs for students and for the elderly people who retire here to have jobs to keep busy. Since the influx of people from India, all of the jobs in these stores that have been bought out by them are now done by Indian people, nearly everyone who used to work these jobs in my community has lost the opportunity to do so because since the businesses were bought out by Indians they only hire their own kind as employees. I know at least 10 people directly that have lost their jobs due to this, and there are certainly more. We allow foreign investment in our business and real estate market, and these people come in, completely take over and dominate these small communities, and fill them with their young people from India and take away all the jobs from the local people living here. Its horrible. My wife and I are planning on moving to Eastern Europe, Canada in another few decades will be nothing more than a province of India.

Truth is that the immigration system has been a source of income and financial gain for the system but gives little back. Sadly many Canadians think the opposite is true. They think because refugees are given shelter while waiting for processing that means they receive support more than the locals. Truth is immigrants come here mostly on loans, spend years working and spending to support families back home, it takes years to understand the taxing, credit, wealth, education and many other resources that drives the Canadian community. This put immigrants in a position where they work more than the local just to meet the bare minimum life standards. If many of the immigrants knew the ins and outs of the system, then they would really take over and appreciate being in canada. \n\nCanadians and canada as a whole are welcoming. You might meet a few who have little knowledge of the global system and standard against immigrants, something that their countries economic system depends on. Remember your countries have never lived without immigration. From the day the first white personal stepped onto this lane, immigrants have continued to come in more different colours. It’s our duty to focus on making life better not on how we can make life harder for others. Wanting to live in canada with your own specific community and wanting others to stay away from a land that has been shared for decades is just a selfish stand. We all love canada because we all find peace here.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. I saw a TV commercial where a female immigrant was crying and complaining about her terrible life here in Canada. She stated that she can't find a job because she doesn't have the training to do the jobs. WELL, GET THE TRAINING BEFORE YOU COME OVER HERE TO TAKE AWAY THE CLASS SEAT FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS GONE THROUGH THE EDUCATIONAL PATHWAY IN THEIR LIFE AND DREAMED OF BECOMING A DOCTOR OR WHATEVER AND WANTING TO STUDY AND BE EDUCATED TO MAKE THAT LIFE DREAM COME THRUE. Why do these immigrants think that they are entitled to take what they have not worked their lives to accomplish in our country. Canada is a great country if you wanna be a dependent slave to the government. No guns, free speech is policed and your children can be taken away if you dont agree with them taking hormones and having their genitals mutilated. 1) Dont go abroad with the mindset that you are going to live the same life you live here. You cant. \n\n2) dont expect it to be a plug and play experience like moving from indian city to another. You cant pack your life in 8 suitcases and go to a place which has many different requirements in terms of neccesities of life and system of living eg weather, clothes having car, different way of shopping, eating,doing household chores, accessing systems like health care, school etc. \n\n3) dont go thinking that all the things you need there are available to you or even that you will know/recognise what you need to settle down there. \n\n4) unless you are super rich dont think you can afford to \nHave all the necessary things to live the average life there. You wont. It takes 2-6 years to aquire all that. \n\n5) Don't go with the attitude of keeping parallel life back in India to run back to. Then you will never settle down to do what you need to do there. \n6) Also in most cases no matter your age you will be like a young graduate on their first job away from fathers home and all the struggles they have you too will have almost similar struggles. \n7) give it alleast 2 years whole heartedly ( not keeping one foot in India) then only then you will know whether you really like it or not.

Agreed. We came to Toronto in 1989. It was a clean and safe city. It has turned into Gotham City - dirty, crowded, construction everywhere and worst of all yes, the homelessness has spiked. Winter months are brutal and I cant imagine what they go through. Our government has failed us and now with Olivia Chow as the Mayor, its going to be worse. We live well away in the suburbs but I occasionally have to go downtown for appointments and I detest taking the subway and going down there. We plan on moving out of the entire province in hopefully 10 years from now but until then, who knows what will happen to Toronto and York Region at thus point
