Canada has its problems, yes. But cost of living is high everywhere in the world. It just hits you more in canada as disposable incomes are lower and fixed expenses (insurance, utils, housing etc) are higher..

As a born and raised, WHITE Canadian, I NEVER had an issue with Indian immigrants, of all the immigrants to Canada, they were the most respectful, and the most willing to “assimilate” to our culture. The recent influx of immigrants/migrants from India, are the most disrespectful, disgusting and violent people I have ever seen. Shitting where they want, throwing garbage everywhere, not learning English, disrespecting our wildlife, by trying to kill and eat everything, and the latest, hearing a march In Brampton where new immigrants/migrants saying “Get out British speakers, We are the real Canadians, go back to Europe”. My patience and hospitality has limits. Trudeau let this influx happen, assimilation is not possible on this massive scale. I feel sorry for those seeking a better life in Canada, but native borns are being left behind and are angry, so this is what you get. Sorry….just being honest

They can practice their religion and traditions like anyone else. This is what voting liberal gets you. High crime, high prices, homeless everywhere, sanctuary city, courts are a revolving door, open use of hardcore drugs in actually encouraged thru drug injection sites,, irresponsibly high immigration…all combine to make Toronto a pretty horrible / dangerous city. While I still own property in Toronto, I spend very little time in the city these days. On the bright side, Trudeau will be gone fairly soon…and Trump and Pierre will work well together.

Many people have commented here to change India and make it livable instead of dreaming of Canada but let me tell you, ideally it is very welcoming and patriotic thought to make India top class country in the world in all respect but keeping current politicians standards, democratic model and caste & religion discrimination, it is next to impossible to implement changes. China has done despite massive population because it has hidden dictatorship and there are no inside traitors. Many entities within and outside India are doing their level best to break and shake India. \n\nI am from Canada, I just arrived in India on vacation. It disturbed me a lot to see trash and garbage everywhere ( especially on Kurla-Andheri-Mankhurd) on the streets from Mumbai airport, the town planning, landscape, traffic, road quality, people's civic sense (and many more things to mention) are in worst shape which is not a sign of good quality life. Especially when you enjoy lavish, luxurious, clean hygienic, sustematic life style abroad, you naturally tend tobe fascinated with that country, no matter how much patriotic you're. Somewhere people make the problem, somewhere government or governing bodies and somewhere both. \nForeign visitors must be experiencing what I experienced. That is why we Indians are always become victims of hate and criticism abroad.

Why do some people who go through hardships and overcome them, wish that others suffer too? Why not be a better person and work to make it easier for others? The immigration issue is on MY DOORSTEP here in Texas and it is BAD! Crime, drugs, voilence, vandalism, trash everywhere, housing shortages/homelessness, jobs being taken! These illegals LITERALLY come to my front porch and steal my mail, steal any porch furniture/ waterhoses/holiday decorations/you name it, dig through my trash EVERY trash day, LITERALLY pose for pictures next to the flower bushes OUTSIDE MY BEDROOM WINDOW, and have tried to steal our cars in braod daylight! The reality is that these immigrants, illegal or not, do work that many others don’t want to do. There could be a solution to make them permanent citizens, but to just deport them will have massive consequences that will impact everywhere, Trump voters too. I heard on my visit to Canada earlier this year for vacation the same thing, BUT you talked to Canadians who were obviously unemployed/with no skills and homeless (at least it seemed like that, my apologies if that was not the case. All immigrants should respect the local law and do not impose their culture in adopted land. I believe that Indians come to Brampton because they find their own kind of people there and feel that they will not feel any racism, mind you it happens everywhere. Racism in parts of Canada is very much there. \nI stayed in Toronto with a friend and noticed almost 99% of tenants there were chinese, and no one was speaking English. Would like you to interview there as well.

I'm Eastern European immigrant myself growing up here I love the diversity going to school amd meeting people from different walk of life.
