I lived in Germany for 10 years.\n\nI think it's the best country to live in socially (education, health care, jobs). The bureaucracy you can handle it.\n\nI finished my Master's degree before the COVID19 started and it was SOOO difficult to get a job since after that they wanted only native German speakers (before with English was OK) - and I do speak really good German.\n\nBut then my friends started to have problem with racism and some people were not nice - and then all my friends left. I felt so alone.\n\nFurthermore, I met people who had a prosperous professional life but they were living alone in nice, big apartments. And old people were living all lone - I didn't want that and I took my decision to leave.\n\nBerlin and other German cities are amazing but it's only for a while. \n\nGermany is not for everybody - you need to know where are you going.

I currently am considering Germany as work in Canada is horrible for medical educated personnel. Was looking at Italy, Spain, Poland, and Sweden. Canada is hitting me up for a lot of taxes Federal , Provincial, and Municipal. I also am taxed by the USA for taxes for my real estate holdings, and get taxed by Canada for homes I inherited from my elderly uncle’s. I literally rent my homes to my cousins in Tacoma and Kansas as rental rates are unaffordable. I see house values go up but taxes are there to make it impossible to support the valuation. But enough about my tax problems, I hope you can take your journey over there and report what it’s really like?

Is everyone bad at math and economics? If you have too many people in a country….you drive up the costs of housing, food, etc because of “supply and demand”…..then as a result, most people get poorer. Only the very rich benefit. But if you LIMIT immigration numbers…costs for everything is lower and everyone gets a chance to use the extra money to grow and expand the economy that will benefit both the citizens AND the new immigrants. I really believe the globalists have the sinister agenda to erode the middle class and small businesses…to weaken their voters who will have to rely heavily on their government for everything. Germany should send recruiters to US colleges and universities. Remember that the largest minority in the United States are German Americans!! Stop going to the ME and places that don't respect your values. Also in Argentina and Chile, and Dominican Republic, and Colombia ( yes really) have huge German communities. But you have to go and actively recruit.

The main issue is and will be the German language. They are quite picky about it all the time. If skilled workers are getting a job which has a higher pay (higher working hours, uncertain market) in the USA, people don't mind taking it, learning a new language, high tax, kind of average salary is not going to appeal to a lot of people. Nowadays they want German language requirements for a software engineering job! People aren't open, really old and slow daily life, too much paper work, the list goes on....

I don't really understand this graphic. How many immigrants from each country have come to Canada in total? But then how come some of the numbers go down in later years? It's not how many come each year because the numbers are too high. We did not get 967k British immigrants in 1967, nor 700k in 1987. Nor 300k Italians in 1999.

As an Indian immigrant myself, I have tremendous sympathy for Canadians. \n\nThe so called diploma mills were always a danger but online classes during covid meant they could quadruple their attendance (and thus, their bottom line). The degrees offered by these colleges are worthless and that's why anyone who's moved to Canada in the last 4-5 years is finding it difficult to get meaningful employment.\n\nOn the other side, the Canadian dream really is sold as a cheaper and safer alternative to the American Dream. This is especially rampant in the state of Punjab where people from villages sell their ancestral property to move to Canada as students only to find the stalemate that is the job sector.\n\nThis in turn puts pressure on the economy, the housing market, and the welfare programmes. I think the immigration needs to halt for a while. A LOT of students are lacking in technical and linguistic skills to propel the Canadian economy and society forward and they'll need to not be given Permanent Residencies. PR should go to highly skilled immigrants who are integrating into the Canadian society instead of turning Brampton into mini India.

Wow never know about this. Absolutely crazy this is allowed to go on. So many of us including me are living on the edge barely scraping by, and now we’re being flooded by new people who will take all the cheaper housing. Not there is any cheap housing. And sleeping in your vehicle is now being banned all over because of all the unhoused, which really puts a damper on traveling in an RV or van. They mention it in passing but fail to really hit the nail on the head in this video... The biggest issue is the lack of funding going into infrastructure and public housing. With limited resources causing rising costs, you either need to limit the number of people competing for resources or build more resources. We need immigrants in this country, especially with this huge aging population. This means we have to reinvest in public programs in a real way. The costs up front seem huge but the payoff is immeasurable, everyone's quality of life will go up.

As a Filipino watching the economy of USA from afar, I think that no other politician has shown significant concern to help its economy except for Trump. He's pretty bold and not scared to voice out issues that make the democrats uncomfortable. It is not for me to decide who others will vote. However, I see a leader in Trump and he's not afraid to fight back. It's only a matter of time for the Chinese to create its own microchips that are of novelty and prestige. Their economy is of course stagnant as of the moment because many foreign companies pulled out from China. Nevertheless, do you think it's going to be forever? They will cope and soon establish theirs given their population and government financial backing. Trump was right to put trade war against them to regulate foreign trade as it did with Japan. All countries will suffer when the dollar loses the international prestige. It is fastly losing it's international reputation as of these days. If this won't halt, imagine a future where the Chinese RMB will be the basis of international trade. You don't know the real plan of the Silk Road guys. Americans are conquerors and we have adjusted with their ways already. And, the Chinese are conquerors as well. Their goal is to really surpass the USA. The rise of China has benefited every ASEAN member, but greatly the former than the latter. We can adjust with their ways. However, America and Europe may not be that ready to adjust their ways for them should they surpass USA. The USA has become complacent and too liberal where individual rights, although important, have gone too far-fetched. This has created entitled individuals who think they own the world. Now, look at the Chinese. While most young Americans are busy dancing in TikTok and the likes of wasting time for entertainment, most young Chinese are studying hard and upskilling. Let's remember that America became great because of its inventions and extremely the nuclear power. Without great minds, minds that are feebled by drugs and misguided philosophies, a society will crumble. USA can use its weapons and influences against other countries, but can it hold the progress of it's rival economy for the rest of the years? You guys need a leader who is competitive and won't back down from a fight. As of these days, given only two political candidates to choose for presidency, I dare say that Trump has a higher bidding for the goodness of USA. I have a feeling things are going to reach boiling point just like they have in the UK and legal migrants and their kids are going to get caught up in it with social cohesion going to shit. The best way to deal with this is to make them more afraid of coming here than they are of staying where they came from. Hmm I feel so bad for everyone involved in this. I don't really want cartels going over the US border but I really don't mind all the people fleeing from countries that are even worse then the US. So many of them have such horror stories from their native countries. And if they're willing to work here I don't think there should be really a problem. I just really wish they wouldn't all congregate in the big cities and would move more to a lot of the rural places that are losing people. The housing is getting so expensive in the big cities I'm not sure how they can afford even stay there.
